**Review for Delaney Dare's Run For Me**
You know it's hot. You know you're going to get burned. But you can't help the shaky hand that reaches into the heat."
This is a short and steamy taboo novella that serves as a prequel for The Saint, a full-length dark reverse harem romance coming next year. I don't want to give much away, but suffice to say that I'm looking forward to it, and I'm not even the biggest reverse harem fan.
"He'd beg to put his hands on me. He'd fucking beg. And then I'd let him."
Nova, Gianna's stripper alter ego, dances at a club, fueling men's fantasies while she moves to every song. It's a means to an end. She ran away from her family, and she's had it rough, but things seem to finally be going her way. Until she gets bumped to Elite level, where she can be bought for the night by someone.
"She will be hunted, she will be fucked, and she'll never be the same."
She's halfway between excited and afraid about it. Well, to be honest, more like 75-25, actually. She is a pretty daring, strong girl after all. She couldn't have prepared for what was expecting her, though. She was certainly not ready to be chased through the woods. Or *gasp* to like it so much.
What she also didn't see coming? The person who bought her for the night. In fairness, he wasn't expecting her either.
"I live for the hunt. The fight. The chase. The darkness deep inside your mind, body, and soul."
There's only one sex scene in this short novella, but it's a damn good one. And the tension is palpable, so much so I may have reached out to the author and asked for a specific scene to happen in the book. Is it going to happen? I don't know, but a girl can hope, right?
All I know is that this book better come soon because I need to know the rest of the story ASAP.

Run For Me: A Carnal Sins Novella by Delaney Dare
I finished this one late last night and 😳🥵🔥 I didn't know what I was getting myself into bit Ledger may have jumped to the top of my favorites... Gianna and Ledger have history together, I'm not spoiling how though because I was not expecting it.
This is a prequel for The Saint and I cannot get enough of these characters. I am excited to see where it goes. I really enjoyed Run For Me and I need more!!

Rexie and Colton! Swoon! I loved this novella! This story is part of the Strip Tease collection. This was such a great little story! I loved the twist of the “dancer” side. A Stand in dancer and a bouncer to the rescue, what a story! Colton and Lexie have that instant connection with each other that makes Rexie feel safe. Not once but twice! I their connect is hot but its also super sweet! A relationship in the making!

This was such a great short story! Honestly I was action packed and you had a bit of backstory. All in all, I was sucked into it! It was faced paced, well duh bc it a short story! But I loved it!
Ash & Faye! What a couple they make! Faye is a dancer and she was with Cole for 5 years. Cole was a twin, his twin brother is Ash. Cole was killed on an assignment before he even knew he had a kid. Ash is a cop as well and now he needs Faye’s help with taking down Coles killer. But will it come at a cost?? He finds out he has a nephew and make sit his mission that the will never be with out help.
I loved the ending! It was HEA and just what I wanted!

Hot damn! This prequel is smokin’ hot and will tease your senses. It oozes tension and leaves you craving more.
Gianna and Ledger heat up the pages, giving us a little taste of the forbidden.

I was instantly captivated with Gianna and Ledger and I could not get enough of these two. Their whirlwind story might be short but it sure packed one hell of an exciting and deliciously titillating punch to my girl parts.
I want and need more of these two after the crazy way this one ended.

This was a quick and hot novella which is a set up for the full book that is to come.
This was so much fun. There’s a mysterious plot going on with the family that starts to unravel as the novella progresses. It ends on a cliffy, and I’m intrigued to read more!
There is a prominent amount of primal play in this, so if that’s your thing, you won’t like this. But if you’re down with being chased and then railed, pick this baby up!!

First, the title was perfectly chosen because as soon as I finished reading, I ran to preorder The Saint( Book 1 of Carnal Mayhem).
Run for Me was a quick, intense, suspenseful read with a lot of elements that made my dark-romance-loving heart extremely happy.

I admit I am a bit biased when it comes to anthologies
What is there not to like?
I get to try new authors
Delve into new worlds
Get a taste of what's on the horizon
Sure, they are usually short stories, maybe a side character from an existing series or a prologue to introduce us to a new one
like...
Run for me by Delaney Dare -And Crispy Crackers did it leave me wanting more (sort of the idea here)
We have our runner - Gianna
She's running from a life she doesn't want
Doing whatever is necessary to survive
Including selling her soul
We have the black sheep - Ledger
Fighting against an inheritance he doesn't want
While planning his revenge and maybe imbibing a little on the side to feed his baser needs
Then there are our villains
The jealous green-eyed sibling - Lennox who is evil without remorse and believes he should have it all
and Dear Old Dad who reigns supreme in his gluttonous empire of depravity
I am always amazed when an author is able to get me invested in the characters with only a few chapters - and Dare does that easily here. This series will be on my one-click list
I will update as I read the rest of the stories

[ ARC REVIEW FOR RUN FOR ME BY DELANEY DARE ]
First of all a big thank you to Delaney for inviting me to review her new release.
Only 60 pages, but holy shit. I need more. I need way more of these two.
The fact that Delaney managed to get me all excited, worked up AND freaking horny in the matter of 60 pages is absolutely incredible.
Delaney captured me from the very first page. I mean, how could you not with an author note like that? Holy crap. I've never felt more called out and more understood in my entire life. So thank you for that.
We meet 'Nova' who has a lot more going on than we initially think. There are still so many layers to unwrap there. All we know right now is that she's keeping her head low, trying to outrun her past and the people in it. Earning money is her priority and what's better than dancing? Exactly. Selling your body.
Interesting? Yes. Safe? Absolutely not.
Especially not when the man who bought you for the night chases you through the woods after almost scaring you to death with a 'gift'.
There's no outrunning the hunter, and no outrunning your past.
That becomes abundantly clear to Nova. No matter how far, no matter how fast you run. They'll catch you.
I can't wait to read more of this story. Honestly, Delaney delivered a masterpiece in just 60 pages. I can't even imagine what she'll do with a full length novel. I'm excited. That's for sure.

Honest ARC Review for Run For Me by Delaney Dare: When Gianna’s mom married she thought she was finally getting the father she always wanted. Instead she got a monster. After running away from her family Gianna starts working at a SinSations strip club. Things have been going ok until she is bought for the night by a mysterious man. She has a wild sexy night only to find out the man she has been bought by is not as mysterious as she though. This was a prequel to the full length novel. Although this is short it really packed a punch. It was steamy, engaging, mysterious, and made me curious to know what will happen next.

Oh my!!! If you love a good dark, dirty, and delicious couple, you are in for a ride!! I will say this could be triggering to some, so read the TW carefully. This was the first story by Delaney Dare that I have read and I will not so patiently wait for more! I love a good dark romance and when you add in a touch of the forbidden.....🔥! Gianna and Ledger were all that and a bag of chips!! Could not get enough and I can't wait for Ledger to continue to go all Alpha Male and make Gianna completely his!! And screw anyone who gets in their way!! Lennox and the Judge better watch out because I know Delaney is going to deliver a very delicious story!!

In the back of her mind, she can't help but hope it's the tall drink of water from back in the club...but dreams don't really come true, right? And in the off chance her wish does come true, there's no such thing as a fairy tale prince.

The book introduces us to Gianna who is working at the club Sinsations under the name of Nova. She has been just dancing but now has signed up for the “Elites” where she will be purchased for the night by one of the clients of the club.
The man who she is sold to for the night has a delicious game he wants to play with her and that’s literally just the beginning of the intensely dark and arousing night that will leave you panting reading. Ledger was SO hot to read. An animalistic, dark predator with a twist.

What a story! As soon as it started I was drawn in by what could have happened in the FMC's past to have her on the run. Then there is the mysterious man in the club that buys her for the night. The things that happen once she's his I did not see happening quite the way it did but it was thrilling! It had my heart pounding and me holding my breath a little as the situation unfolded between them. And boy did things get dirty!!
The ending is a cliffhanger and while I'm itching to read what happens next I have to say it was done very well. The only way I can think to explain it without giving anything away is that it wraps up this story in its entirety while leaving the perfect opening to transition into the next part of the story. I didn't feel like anything was missing or left unresolved as far as what happens in this novella. But it sure does get you excited for what is to come and I am so ready for it! Fingers crossed for a lot more running and chasing between these two in the future!
Also, I love that all the stories in this collection take place revolving around this club and it has me really looking forward to reading the rest of them!

Wow! I was not expecting to love this novella as much as I did. Not sure what I was even expecting, but dear god, I was NOT disappointed.
Run for Me has our main characters: Gianna and Ledger. Circumstances put Gianna in a difficult position and ultimately brought her back to Ledger. Stuck between taking an opportunity that will help her current circumstances or refraining to keep what morality she’s built for herself— Gianna is led to play a game that will have her in a fine line between listening to what she’s supposed to do or bend to the will of Ledger.
The plot and spice scenes were a perfect balance throughout this novella, and I literally was so sucked into this story that I didn’t realize I had finished it until… I did 😭. Although some may say that it’s too short or fast paced, it was PERFECT for me because it was a quick, captivating and well-written book. Not too much unnecessary details and a perfect buildup for the book that will come in June 2023. Will DEFINITELY be looking forward to it!!

Not too much unnecessary details and a perfect buildup for the book that will come in June 2023. Will DEFINITELY be looking forward to it!!

Run For Me - Delaney Dare
Wow! This is my first book by Delaney Dare and I absolutely loved it! Part of the ‘Strip Tease’ Collection releasing October 4, Run for Me is a novella about Gianna, a stripper with nothing to lose. She thinks she’s safely hidden behind that pole. Until HE purchases one night with her, and she quickly becomes prey to his games. I’m not going to bother rating the steam here, because it’s off the charts. This is primal play at its best. I hate to give too much away since this is technically a prequel to Delaney Dare’s upcoming dark reverse harem “The Saint” releasing next year. Even being short, the world building and character development is fantastic. The tension and build up is exciting. It was intense, suspenseful, and captivating. I thought I was just ARC’ing a short taboo romance, but what I got was so much more. My dark romance loving heart is so happy. I need The Saint NOW!!!!
