Justine Lewis is the award-winning author of fun, contemporary romances. She has spent her professional life writing legal advice—which some may say is similar to creative writing—but the lack of sexy heroes and happy endings led her to try writing romance.
She loves Earl Grey tea, talking about which of Jane Austen's novels is her favourite and searching for the perfect frock. She will read anything, but loves romance most of all.

I thoroughly enjoyed this debut story, it is filled with emotions as Lily and Jack find themselves snowed in, in a remote cabin both had escaped for their own reasons but they never thought to be together, how will their few days together end?
Lily Watson is now a bestselling author and she first, needs to finish a book and secondly needs to go away from all media while the release of her break-up with her partner is announced, but when she arrives through a blizzard the last person she expected to see was her ex-husband Jack Thorne, their marriage ended badly ten years ago and they have not seen each other since.
Jack Thorne is a billionaire media mogul, he works with his father whom he is very close to, but some things have come to his attention and he needs to get away and work out what he must do and staying at a friend’s cabin is just what he needs what he doesn’t need is his ex-wife showing up.
When the snow keeps falling they realise that neither will be able to leave and this leaves them trapped but with that the chemistry that has always been there sparks and very strongly and it is not long before they are opening up about their past and falling into bed together, but will they truly be able to look to the future with everything that has happened to them?
This is a moving story all about second chances and learning to trust and one that I would highly recommend to any romance reader who firstly loves a good romance and one set in a cabin in the snow with a beautiful dog Daisy.
During my high school summer breaks I spent countless hours binge reading boxes of Harlequin romances given to me by a friend of my mother. To have the opportunity to read and review an advance copy of Billionaire's Snowbound Marriage Reunion brought back feelings of nostalgia for those care free summer days and my first taste of the romance genre.
Jack and Lily haven't spoken since their marriage imploded rather publicly ten years ago. Unknowingly, they both seek refuge from current personal problems at the cottage of mutual friends and are trapped by an early season snow storm.
I enjoyed seeing how Jack and Lily focused on embracing each day and not worrying about the future during their time being snowed in. It allowed them reconnect and remember what they loved about each other, see how they have each grown, and reignite their feelings of attraction.
Forced proximity and second chance romance are two of my favorite tropes and were very well done in this book. For someone as stubborn as Jack, only the prolonged proximity and his current dilemma would be enough to allow him to open his mind and really listen to what Lily is saying. Misunderstanding is one of my least favorite tropes, but in this situation looking back to a distant past, it works for me. It is obvious that Jack and Lily are truly perfect for each other, but they were both perhaps too young and immature for the situation in which they found themselves 10 years ago.
This was an entertaining, enjoyable, and quick read that left me with that sweet satisfied feeling of characters finding happily every after. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Billionaire’s Snowbound Marriage Reunion is one of those heart-wrenching stories of two people who were perfect for each other, yet outside influences tore them apart in the cruelest way possible. Yet we’re not going to understand all the nuances of that breakup until well into their story. And when revealed, my heart broke for Lily and in a different way for Jack — his pain is doubled by learning the actual truth of that situation almost a decade ago. It will take him a bit of time to wrap his head around reality vs. what he believed to be an absolute truth.
Lily was a well-known actress who walked away from that profession when her marriage to Jack imploded so spectacularly. Even to this day, the tabloids are frequently making up stories of their past and their so-called current reconciling romance. Now, Lily is a best-selling writer of thrillers who does everything possible to remain out of the spotlight. She’s on a book deadline right now, and her agent (and friend) has offered the use of a cabin in Yosemite, far away from everything, to give Lily the peace and quiet to concentrate on finishing up the draft of her newest book. On a snow-covered road at the beginning of a true blizzard, she pulls into the driveway… only to discover the cabin is already occupied. And by the last person she ever expected or wanted to see on the face of the earth… Jack.
Jack has recently made some perplexing and devastating discoveries in the family business and surrounding his father. He’s at his friend’s remote cabin to do some more research and figure out how to handle the news that will possibly end the business in the worst possible way. When a car pulls up in the midst of a blizzard and the garage remote is engaged, Jack is ready to fight off any intruder… until his ex-wife steps out of the car and plunges him into memories, anger, and regrets.
Billionaire’s Snowbound Marriage Reunion is Justine Lewis’ Harlequin Romance debut novel, and I can tell you without a doubt that I will be watching for more of her work. Lily and Jack’s story is full of emotions, from justifiable anger all the way through to a deep love being acknowledged, a love that never really left either of them over the last decade. I understood Lily’s stand; she did what was natural to protect herself even when it hurt her beyond belief. Jack, well, it took me a bit longer to understand how he could have been so blind years ago… but eventually, as his eyes are opened, I could see how it was possible given his relationship with his father. If nothing else, their story reminds us to listen and really hear what our partner is saying without dismissal being the first reaction. I liked this couple and enjoyed watching truths, emotions, and eventually solutions being unfolded for them.
It’s a captivating romance, well-written, full of emotions, and understanding of the other’s person’s perspective of events. If you crave a love story that will break your heart and slowly heal it, if a couple that really does belong together finds their way back to each other is your kind of love story, or if you simply love a good romance… then you’ll want to grab Jack and Lily’s story right now.

Where should I begin? This book was such a pleasant journey! It gets solid three stars from me!
Jack and Lily were both interestingly complex characters that kept me curious to know how they were going to navigate the hurt and misunderstands between them through out the book. I hurt for them, laughed with them and quite simply adored them. Even though Meredith and Bradley were not present much on paper their divorce broke my heart. I hope they're happy in their lives now. I need to know!! Even felt bad for Jack's father...
The conflict was very interesting and had me curious from page one. It is tricky to deal with supposed 'cheating' of either of the main characters and so I was curious to see how this book would tackle it. It was tackled fairly well though I do think it could do with some more development.
Why I ate the remaining two stars? Well I was hungry so... No. Really. I'll get into the real reasoning...
The first few chapters before their past was revealed I was quite sure it was going to be something like Lily hadn't cheated but was framed or something and Jack hadn't even given her a chance to defend herself. But she turned a 180 and admitted that she actually.... had... Won't lie I was intrigued to know how this would be resolved!! But, unfortunately, I was disappointed. It's as if it was decided that Jack has to be the bad guy in this. Lily didn't even apologize. Not once! I'm sorry but it seemed like she was gaslighting Jack (she wasn't) into thinking it was his fault. It wasn't. He made mistakes but that doesn't make it his fault!!
Worst is that I liked Lily! So I was confused why she would do that to poor Jack... Trust me I'm all for the H being a massive jerk so he can spend the rest of the book grovelling. But Jack didn't deserve it. His only fault was blind loyalty and trust in his father... and I can't fault him for that now, can I?
One more thing, there was a lot of repetition. Lily essentially spent almost all of the book talking herself out of giving into her feelings for Jack, which I totally understand. It was the same thing she kept repeating instead of taking one point and building on it. It dragged the story forward instead of slowing building it. If that makes sense. It kept distracting me from the story.
With that being said, I enjoyed it!. I read the first two chapters and then had to put it down for life reasons. But once I picked it up again I finished it in one sitting. Took me Almost three hours maximum to devoured tho whole thing. It was a fun time!!
I'm glad I to got read this book and totally recommend picking it up if you're looking for a conflicting and emotion packed retreat. Looking forward to reading more from Justine Lewis!!

An emotionally satisfying romantic tale that I thoroughly enjoyed, Billionaire’s Snowbound Marriage Reunion is Justine Lewis’ debut novel for Harlequin Romance/Mills and Boon True Love and it’s simply terrific.
Bestselling author Lily wants to get away from it all and spend some much-needed time by herself at her remote cabin idyll. Lily just wants to take a break and shut the world out for a while. She doesn’t want to see anyone and she is certainly not expecting to have company at her cabin, but fate clearly has other plans as she discovers when she finds herself sharing her accommodation with her ex-husband, billionaire Jack! The two of them haven’t clapped eyes on each other since their fledgling marriage imploded, but clearly time is not a great healer – nor has it done anything to decrease the attraction that has always sizzled between them…
Finding themselves snowbound together, there is nowhere to go and nowhere to hide. Lily and Jack find themselves forced to confront past demons and to face up to the truths that had torn them apart and destroyed their relationship. Thrust in close proximity together, Lily and Jack begin to get closer and closer, but do they have the courage to fight for their future? Or will they let this second chance slip through their fingers?
Justine Lewis will capture every reader’s heart with her poignant, intense and dramatic contemporary romance, Billionaire’s Snowbound Marriage Reunion. A beautifully written tale about facing up to the past, new beginnings, healing from old wounds and everlasting love, this affecting romantic read will move readers to tears and have them falling in love with both Lily and Jack.
Heart-rending, uplifting and wonderfully told, Billionaire’s Snowbound Marriage Reunion heralds the arrival of an exciting new voice for Harlequin Romance/Mills & Boon True Love: Justine Lewis.

Ten years ago, Lily - then one of Hollywood's most famous actress - was married to Jack, a wealthier business mogul, for six short weeks. Now, Lily is a bestselling writer of thrillers and Jack is an even wealthier business mogul, and when they are snowbound together in a cabin they are forced to face the betrayals that destroyed their relationship and the feelings that remain.
This story was not entirely what I expected. Given that the characters are extravagantly wealthy and extremely famous, I expected to read about the perks (and problems) of their positions. The fancy hotels and restaurants; the helpful-but-ever-scheming staff. This kind of frivolity can be fun, and it distracts from the improbability of the situation.
Instead, Lily and Jack could have been any two upper-middle-class professionals. They cooked their own food and did their own laundry. The focus of the bulk of the story was on their relationship, which was sweet and heartfelt.
But absent a strong grounding in the outside world - Jack and Lily's past relationship, and more importantly their present lives - the story didn't hook me. The details of both past and present felt irrelevant to the snowbound interlude. Of course that's part of the point - but when the snow melted the relationship felt neither inevitable nor impossible, much less - in the tradition of romances - both.

Billionaire's Snowbound Marriage Reunion is a Harlequin Romance that was a quick read. Fast-paced and set mainly in a cabin in Yosemite it didn't have the depth I look for. We only get to know the characters Lily and Jack on the surface but learn about their past and their hopes for the future. But can it include them both or will they continue to go their separate ways after this chance meeting?
When I think of a cabin it's not what the two of them get snowbound in. Their friends who own the cabin and lend it to each of them not knowing the other did so set them at a disadvantage. There was a lot of angst, memories both good and bad, but also some fun moments along with steamy ones. There were vivid descriptions of the cabin and its surroundings.
I liked the inclusion of his dog to the story and the cover. There are a few different stories being told that are linked together. Both of them seem to worry more about what others think than how they actually feel. When they opened-up and communicated they gave each other balance. There was good closure and a happily ever after that I wasn't expecting. Ms. Lewis is a new to me author and I might give another of her books a try.
I rated the book 3.5 stars but rounded to 4 stars here and on other sites.

This is a book in The Mills and Boon True Love Series and it is Lily and Jack’s story. Lily and Jack have history as they used to be married and have now been divorced for many years. Lily is a best selling author and decided to take a break from her problems but imagine her shock and surprise when her ex husband Jack is also staying in the property as there has been a mix up or were they set up but what are they going to do as this definitely complicates everything. Jack is a wealthy business man and he needs to get away so when his friend offers the use of the cabin Jack takes his dog Daisy and decided to go and relax not knowing that there is a surprise waiting for him when he gets there. There are ups and downs but I really enjoyed how eventually they managed to communicate and realise that they still loved each other but with everything that they had both gone through will this be there second chance and will they be able to move forward and get the happy ending that they both really deserved as they are so perfect together and there love for each other shines through. I can’t wait to read more books by this author in the future.
Jack and Lily were in a short-lived marriage that ended with controversy. As a result of their marriage Lily's acting career suffered and so did her health. Ending her acting career opened the door for her to write which she became famous for. They meet again ten years later when they both find themselves at the same cabin belong it their friends. Their meeting has shown them that their feelings for each other is still there. Has fate stepped in and brought them back together for a second chance and will this time around lead them to happiness. Jack and Lily kept me glued to the pages of their story and cheering for them to get their chance to rekindle their love.

Jack and Lily were a divorced couple with a lot of unfinished business. A mix up left them both stranded during a blizzard and each had no way to escape, had to face the past whether they wanted to or not. You could also see, feel the tension between them in their interactions. Even when at odds, they worried and took care of each other, I liked seeing that. When they had to head back to the "real" world, I wasn't sure how things would go but liked how the story ended.
I wish there had been "more" to situation between Jack and his dad.
Really enjoyed this story, would recommend.

Oh, I really loved this book! I loved Lily’s character and I could sympathize with Jack and his feelings about his father. I enjoyed this book, going to see if Ms Lewis wrote other ones. Bestselling author and former actress Lily doesn’t expect to have to share her remote cabin getaway with anyone—let alone her ex-husband, billionaire Jack! She hasn’t seen him since their fledgling marriage imploded a decade ago, but her response to him is as visceral as ever… Now snowbound together, they’re forced to face the truths of what came between them. Rediscovering the connection that started it all, will they seize the second chance they never dared to dream of?
Lily and Jack are an interesting couple. They have a complicated past that is keeping them tethered to it.This makes some parts slow down due to Lily’s internal self talk.Jack has his own issues, particularly with his dad, adding more conflict.
The book mainly takes place in the cabin. While this gives a forced proximity/cozy feel it also gives a set apart feel. Given the issues with others in their circle the idea of a HEA was hard to believe at first. By the end I was more convinced.
Second chance romances can be difficult to get right and this one does it fairly well. It’s a quick,p pleasant read.
I loved this book by debut Harlequin Romance author Justine Lewis. I’m a sucker for second chance romance and the forced proximity trope. Jack and Lily’s second chance is a heartwarming tale with so many misunderstandings between them but still I found myself wanting them to work it out. I loved the setting, Daisy the dog was so cute and I loved Lilly and Jack’s character development. I read this one fast as I couldn’t stop until I knew the ending. I’ll definitely be adding Justine to my list of authors to read.
What a well written book about a love story which let the reader got the honest view from both hers (Lily's ) and his (Jack's) points of view. Loved both Lily and Jack in this book and how realistic their story actually seems.
There was plenty of drama, suspense and rollercoaster ups and downs with surprises throughout as to how the story actually goes. This was a nice read with enough pull to keep me reading to find the ending to several ?? I had.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review volunarily and of my own thoughts on his story, book.
I just loved Jack and Lily, both are stubborn and when first married were to young to deal with what was going on. This is there second chance when neither knows the other would be at the cabin for different reason but it's the perfect storm for them to finally clear the air of more than one thing. You see both go through a rollercoaster of emotions, self reflection as well as some harsh truths all the while you hope that this time is the right time for them to finally have the HEA the deserve.

This is the 1st time that I have read a book by Justine Lewis, and I must say that I really enjoyed reading about Lily and Jack’s journey to a second chance at romance. Lily is a best seller author, and her best ex-husband is a billionaire. Jack and Lily find themselves trapped in a snowstorm in Yosemite where their friends are letting them stay without the others knowledge.
Can Jack and Lily find their way back to each other and have a second chance at romance?

Bestselling author Lily and her ex-husband, billionaire Jack end up in the same cabin, as their friends let them stay there and did not let them know that they would both be there. They have not seen each other in a decade. I enjoyed seeing them get a second chance. The story is well written and was well worth reading. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is a heartwarming story of second chance with some forced proximity. The story is about Jack and Lily who have not seen each other in ten years. Their marriage ended in a very public fashion. Now they are both, unknowingly, taking a retreat at friends cabin. They are surprised and then quickly snowbound to the same space. This is a good story about rekindling old passion and looking at went wrong in the first place. I like the characters and enjoyed their story.
I so loved reading this story, it was well put together from the beginning of being in Yosemite Park which is a beautiful place to visit. Now into the story itself, this is a beautiful second chance at love and I think Jack and Lily do deserve this opportunity after it was taken away from them the first time by his dad.

Jack and Lily get trapped in a snowstorm in Yosemite and have to stay together. They married and divorced years ago but both still love each other. There are a lot of issues they need to work out but being snowed in forced them to face some of them. Very good second chance read. Good storyline.

I received an advance review copy for free, from BookSirens and I am leaving this review voluntarily. First book that I read by this Author. A romantic story of second chance, forgiveness ,friendship and trust. In any relationship communication and trust is important and this is what lacks in the relationship between Lily and Jack. In short an interesting feel good romance .
Ten years ago Lily and Jack were young and married until his wealthy father interferes and causes her to lose her acting jobs and now she has turned to writing thriller books. This was a very charming close proximity romance book with interesting characters. A small misunderstanding made Jack to divorce his wife lily only to meet again ten years later and rekindle their love. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves contemporary romance.

I was drawn to the adorable cover, but I stuck around for the romance. Lewis sprinkles her characters with humor and heart. Drowning in a depth of emotion that speaks to the soul, BILLIONAIRE'S SNOWBOUND MARRIAGE REUNION speaks the language every heart can understand. From yearning glances to second chances, Jack and Lily a complicated delight that grabs hold and refuses to let go.
What a fun second chance romance! Lily and Jack coming back together (with some difficulties) was so endearing to watch. They still ended up having such a connection that I can see why this is to be a harlequin novel.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. It is a very nice second chance story where Jack and Lily are snowbound and the true events of the past come out. They finally talk about the past and his father. While they are still in love, Lily is still scared of his father. I like how Jack handles everything and wins Lily back.
