Laura Williams hasn’t stepped foot in her hometown since she was old enough to leave.
But when a doctor calls about her mom’s declining medical condition, she has no choice but to return home and look after her.
Besides, it couldn’t be as bad as living in a city with the man who broke her heart. 2 weeks before their wedding.
As a 35-year-old journalist, hanging onto her job by a thread, and healing from a broken heart, Laura goes back to North Carolina to take care of her mom, agreeing to take on any stories that come her way.
When she arrives, the small-town is on edge because a thirteen-year-old girl has gone missing from Lighthouse Lane…again.
Memories come flooding back, and it all sounds eerily similar to when Laura’s best friend went missing from that exact location 17 years ago…
It gets more complicated when she realizes she knows the missing girl’s father. Harry Matthews, who is just as handsome as she remembers.
Laura makes it her mission to do whatever it takes to help Harry find his daughter.
Join Laura and Harry in this small-town romantic mystery as they work together to unravel this high-stakes case, while facing their past and finding love in the most unexpected ways.
This is Book 6 of 6 in the Outer Banks Mystery series.
Another will written mystery romantic family and friends relationships adventure thriller short story by Sage Parker (Outer Banks Mystery book 6). Laura and Harry continues to investigate the people who could be involved in the kidnapping organization. It all comes together ❤ when they are kidnapped and held captive. It turns out that the master mind is right there in front of them. A surprise ending to the mystery with happiness for Laura and Harry. I would recommend this novella series and author to 👍 readers of romantic adventure mystery novels 👍🔰. Enjoy the adventure of reading 👓 or listening 🎶 to Alexa read books 📚. 2023 👒😊💘
After reading all six of these “segments,” I just have a few things to say. I get the impression that these were written specifically for Kindle format, as I couldn’t find them in book form on Amazon. Each book leads right into the next one, so if you want to find out what happens in this mystery, you must continue to the end of the series. The story is engaging enough, and the characters are interesting and likable (except for the bad people). All and all, it wouldn’t have been a bad reading experience if the kindle books had had some decent editing and proofreading. Every single book was full of grammar, punctuation, and context errors. It was incredibly annoying, and I almost stopped reading numerous times. I don’t know if I’ll read any more of this author’s books. I just hope she makes sure to have good editing next time.
Definitely wasn’t for me… no plans to read the next 5 installments. I didn’t connect with the characters and the writing seemed overly simplistic. Probably more like 1.5 ⭐️ honestly.
The saga of the missing children from the Outer Banks area has been going on for way too long. It has consumed Laura and she was determined to help Harry find his daughter. That quest led to so much more. Wow, what an engaging series that took me on an emotional journey. A wonderful conclusion to this six book series. Beautifully written with great characters and an engaging story line. received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is book six and the conclusion to the series. The author does a terrific job building the final installment and kept me glued to the pages. It's well written with perfectly painted scenes and has a great ending. Loved it !!
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
I don’t really know why this was six separate small books but it was a quick and entertaining read. It had nothing to do with OBX other than using the name which is originally why I added it to my read list.
This book/story had so much potential. The execution was not it. I was waiting for it to all wrap up well, but I am not even sure if I know what really happened! I was hoping for so much more. Bummer.
This book series is lowkey one of my new favs, I raced through them and read them all in 2 days mind you, they are very short books (about 100 pages give or take per book), but they are NOT standalone and you need to read them in order
So much happened and I’m glad we got a happy ending!!! I absolutely adore the characters!! This is definitely a series I will recommend a lot this year!!
It’s on Kindle Unlimited and they are each short, so they are fast reads! Go read them now!!!
I enjoyed this series but I'm glad it's on KU so it's a little easier to deal with all of the separate books and the inconsistencies or strange circumstances.
This series is definitely good for a something more than a romance novel. Keeps you wondering a little bit. I did after all read through the entire season because I wanted to know how it all worked out.
This final book tied of the exciting series brought it all together. Each book was exciting, leading the reader to even more suspense as Laura and Harry get closer to finding out what happened. The fact that the missing children started decades before raises the alarm even higher, as it indicates the kidnappers are very well organized to have escaped detection for this long a time. The story line was well-written, definitely pulled the reader into the emotional turmoil, and allowed us to get close to the characters as they put themselves into danger trying to find a way to end the madness.
I don’t want to spoil the last book for you if you have been avidly following the story. But do not miss this one! Your emotions will be in a jumble, but things will become clear. You will want to know if Laura and Harry finally get their long-awaited HEA!
The sixth and final book in the series completes the story just like you would hope. The mystery throughout comes to a very satisfying conclusion and the series as a whole has a happily ever after which I really appreciated. This authors writing style is lighthearted with just the right amount of mystery, thrown in with a little bit of romance, and some family dynamics. I found myself loving each and every character in the book which is very unusual for me. I have never read a series broken up quite like this one and wasn’t sure how I would enjoy it but because of this authors writing style and the effort she puts into making the story flow so well I was surprisingly content.
If you enjoy a clean, mystery series that are all quick reads then you will want to grab these right away. You will not be disappointed and I personally can’t wait to read other books by this author.
Title: Last Seen at Lighthouse Lane Author: Sage Parker Publisher: S. P. Series: An Outer Banks Mystery Book 6 Reviewed By: Arlena Dean Rating: Five Review: "Last Seen at Lighthouse Lane" by Sage Parker
My Sentiments:
This is the last of this book 6 series that did tie up this mystery story quite well. There were many twists and turns, but the story ended with a little romance for the two main characters, Laura and Harry. I enjoyed how the author gave in each of her series some information divulged in each book that would lead to some conclusion to the story as you continue to the next book.
If you are looking for an intriguing good mystery read, you have come to the right place. For 'Last Seen at Lighthouse Lane' [An Outer Banks Mystery Books 1-6] will give it all to you.
So Sage finish up this series with book six. I don't want to give away to much information but will tell you that you will be on the edge of your seat. Laura and Harry are in danger, people are being beaten up even in police custody, threats are made and Grace is trying to hold it all together. Jacqui is still in love with her doctor but they find out she is in danger in the hospital so the have to move her. Conrad shows up to claim his spot in the cartel and Chloe is in mortal danger over her fathers part in it all. But I will tell you that Page has a real gift of taking everything bringing it together at the end of the story to make it a happily every after.

This is the first time I have read.any books you have written. I love how it was written with six books! As I finished one of the books, I could hardly wait to read the next one to see what happens next. There was a little bit of information divulged in each book that led to the conclusion of the story! In book six!!I also appreciate that your writings are clean and appropriate for Christians to read including teens that like readimg murder mysteries. This series was great and I definitely will be reading more of your books as I follow your career path. Thank you for sharing your talents with us!!
I was taken with this series from the first book. Laura is trying to help solve a mystery involving many people from her hometown. She is trying to figure out what to do about her feelings for Harry and help his daughter get over her fears. All the loose ends are tied up with a few surprises. I absolutely loved this series. It has plenty of mystery, danger, and a few light moments between Laura and Harry.

This is the last in a 6-novella series. It is the perfect way to read when all 6 are available now. Laura comes home when her mother falls and breaks her leg, although that was really caused by a more serious illness. She is a journalist and will work remotely. A kidnapping has taken place that is eerily similar to when her best friend disappeared 20 years ago. The resulting investigation, far reaching results, and old friendships and animosity come into play. Thoroughly enjoyed the series!
This series of 6 books should be just one novel. Sadly, each book ends like a soap opera with a “cliffhanger “. And alrhough the author claims to be from South Carolina, she writes about Outer Banks as though it’s a town/city. The Outer Banks is a long string of land lying off the NorthCarolina coast with several cities and towns. The prominent lighthouse is at Cape Harrerass on The Outer Banks. One other comment: the writer’s word usage and sentence structure has a British vibe and Laura has stomach issues every other page.
Here’s why I didn’t care for the series. 1. A series of books that should be just one book. 2. It seems the author has never been to the Outer Banks. You don’t go to “Outer Banks”. You go to “the Outer Banks” or Corolla, Kitty Hawk, Nags Head, etc. All are a part of the Outer Banks. 3. If someone needs open heart surgery, they aren’t having it done in the Outer Banks hospital. They will likely travel to Norfolk to have it done. 4. The story gets cornier and cornier as it goes on.
Maybe you’ll like it. It wasn’t for me. But I finished it anyway.
Book Six is the exciting finale to this series which concludes the romantic story between Laura and Harry. This book and the series has amazing characters, suspense, mystery, kidnapping, cartel violence, steamy chemistry, and a great love story. It has a fantastic conclusion and I highly recommend this excellent series.

Hated to see it end! As with all of Ms. Parker’s terrific series, I hate to see it end, but can’t wait for the next one to start. How many children were involved and the length of time the kidnappings had been going on was shocking. Another terrific series by this author that leaves me anxious for the next! I completely loved this series. Book Six did a fantastic job of tying all the loose ends. I am so glad that in the end everything worked out and all the characters got their HEA. What an ordeal to go through and what a way to triumph over evil. Loved every book in this series.
I highly recommend this book to any book lover of mysteries.

Entertaining conclusion to these series of books. Interesting characters that have worked through many issues to get to where they are today. Like the locale of the story. There is good interactive action between the characters. There is plenty of drama but there are also some heartwarming moments as well. Good read.

This series was another winner. Lots of everything a reader likes. Lots of action, many heartwarming family experiences and a little FBI involvement. I thought this story had several unexpected twists and turns. It definitely had some very interesting people. After reading all six books in this series, I still can't remember what Harry's line of work was??
These books aren’t horrible… and the premise of them is perfectly fine… the execution leaves something to be desired, but I did like them enough to want to find out what happens (and whether Laura and Harry get together again — which duh of course they do).
Happy for them to be light reading while floating around in the pool, but probably not an author I will read again.

After reading the 5th book, I really didn't know how this was going to finish. It was action packed, a page turner, and I couldn't put it down. This was a very interesting mystery with mini-mysteries in the middle. I really liked the whole series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
The final instalment in this exciting series and it answered all our questions. Action packed and the mystery was revealed to all. A great read and finale that I enjoyed very much and Laura and Harry finally got their HEA.

This last book tied the whole series together and kept me glued to the pages. It was an outstanding series that is descriptively well written, and I connected with the characters as they had my emotions all over the place!
