I’m blind. My two eyes work just fine, but my third eye is on the fritz. I’m having a blind day that is stretching to a week. And it’s bad timing. A visiting bestselling author has been murdered, and I have no idea who killed him. In my present state, I can’t even leave my house because it’s way too dangerous. So, now it’s up to my friends and family to help me solve this mystery.
Spawn with the Wind is the final book in the Matchmaker Marriage Mysteries. Chock full of twists, turns, and surprises, Spawn with the Wind will give readers satisfying closure to the Matchmaker saga. Matchmaker Marriage Mysteries…Sometimes love comes with a few dead ends.

Spawn of the Wind is the last book in the Matchmaker Mysteries. I so did not want this to end! Each and every chapter is a wonderful and fun surprise. Perfect finale to one of my favorite series!
Gladie has gone blind, her third eye that is. But who will solve the murder? Never fear, her friends will do the leg work and work together to find the murderer. For the first time in this series we get the viewpoint from other characters. Most of the characters get their own chapter as they research and go undercover to find the killer. It’s quite humorous to get different views from our favorite people. Realistically you could read this without reading the other books but the personalities of the characters would not be as amusing. I’ve truly enjoyed reading this series as Gladie and Spencer have become my favorite crime solving couple. It would appear to be the last book in the series however I’m sure a spinoff could be possible. We can all hope or stalk Ms. Sax. I’ve enjoyed an early copy and wrote this review voluntarily.
Gladie and Spencer are again caught up in the strange daily workings of their little town. There is another murder, Gladie's forte. However, Gladie is now blind, third eye, not truly blind. Problem is that Gladie does not have the energy to solve this new murder, so all of her friends and family team up to solve the murder for her. After all, she's solved a lot of murders, and she deserves their help when she needs it the most. Hilarity ensues, and every character in the Matchmaker series is involved! LOVED the ending!
What a wonderful way to wrap us a fabulous series. I loved getting a glimpse of all of Gladie’s friends and family’s point of view as they race against the clock to solve another murder in Cannes and help Gladie. The ending was so sweet and touching, you can’t help but cheer for Gladie and Spenser.
At first I wasn’t sure how I felt about less Gladie but it works. My only real complaint about this one is the fact that it’s the last one….I’m going to miss everybody….but am secretly hopping for more from them…..a girl can dream. Anyway it a little different yhen usual but it’s definitely not to be missed! Highly recommend you read this one
Having fallen in love with Goldie, Spencer, Zelda and the whole town- I loved this story of everyone coming together to support Gladie on her first blind day! What a delightful book!
I am very disappointed with this series ending. I did not like the chapters from each character’s point of view. There was far too much repetition. I should have stopped after the previous book, as I didn’t care for that one, either. Too bad, I really liked the comedy in this series.
This book was a great way to end a series. Sorry, to see it’s end. But the ending was done very well. My favorite line that made me laugh in the books was relating to someone being a four year old……
