Tennessee Fruit and Vegetable Book by Felder Rushing & Walter Reeves (Cool Springs Press 2002) (635.09768). This is a great practical guide for beginning farmers. All of Felder Rushing's books are entertaining reading, but this one is packed with essential information as well. My rating: 7/10, finished 9/4/18.
I'm enjoying this book very much, as it gives such specific advice for all gardeners -- especially those in my area.
Note after I finished: I checked this out of the library. It's a great book, but more of a reference. To really use it, I think you would need to own your own copy. However, I did learn many things.
