Rough Trip by Summer Cooper will have your emotions all over the place with this romance story that is filled with passion, danger and violence. Sage and Mia are now thrown together by Fiona to head to Florida to root out the Omens who once again are causing trouble after Tyler's death. Mia is anxious to prove to Fiona, the Hell Kats and the rest of the club that she can be trusted.... this is her last chance for redemption. The only problem is that Sage is not to happy that he has to go with her as he is hesitant to spend time with her, even though he gives Mia mix signals with his flirting. Now these two will be thrown together and once Mia seduces Sage he become distant. Sage is still dealing with the after effects of being the only survivor when he lost his whole platoon and the women he loved in Afghanistan. Sage keeps pushing Mia away even though he has strong feelings of wanting her, he just will not allow himself to give his heart away. When Sage gets into an altercation with an Omen at the club bar he hesitates to end the man as he can't stop thinking about Mia, now this decision just might cost him his life. Mia once again is alone as Sage keeps distance himself from Mia so he will not give in to his desire for her, but when he goes missing after two days, she knows something isn't right and she takes it upon herself to find out what happened to him. This feisty woman has become strong with all she had to endure at the hands of the Omens as she knows that she will never be a victim again, she is about to show these men how tough she really is. When a tape appears showing what happened to Sage, Mia with the help of the brothers from the Florida Chapter are racing against time to find him and hoping that he is still alive. You will be blown away once again with the ending that has us holding our breath for the next book to find out if Sage and Mia will finally be together. Summer Cooper has once again taken her readers on one hell of a roller coaster ride! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.
MMC/FMC- Sage and Mia POV- 3rd person Genre- MC Romance Heat- slow-ish burn to 🌋🌋🌋 Series? #1 in mini trilogy, #7 in overall series. Safety: no cheating. S. Violence is only mentioned and happened in the past; no details. Cliffhanger. Triggers- The Biker’s Trifecta (Language, Violence, Explicit Erotic Content), Assault, PTSD, Kidnapping, He Left the Seat Up. Tropes- Road Trip Romance, Will They/Won’t They, There’s Only One Room Left, Roommates to Lovers, New Sheriff in Town. Can We Talk About: The Cover. The new covers of the books in this series are uniformly dreadful. The cover model never looks anything like the description of the Hero. I’m not going to buy a book just because of the cover, but a good cover catches my eye and might be the deciding factor between two equally interesting-looking books. What I thought- this book is less angsty than the previous six, and it’s a refreshing change. Fiona is amazing, even though she’s not a main character in this book. She loses her BFF and still gives another chance to a person who contributed to that. I also like that the S.A. is in the past and is only mentioned (without details). I like Mia’s attitude, which remains upbeat despite the troubling situations that she has been in. And I like Sage’s loyalty. I’ve mentioned this before in my reviews, but it bears repeating. There is no reason that books of this length should be spun out into a trilogy. None. They are short enough that three of them can be edited into two, or even one. When what should be one or two books maximum get drawn out into three, it is an example of lazy editing.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is a story of redemption and the need to find a new place to belong. Mia needs to make amends for her betrayal of the Demons when she leaked information about Fiona's trip to Belize to the Omens which directly lead to her capture and Hamilton's subsequent death. For Sage, his life has revolved around the need for forgiveness in being the sole survivor of the Afghanistan ambush that cost the lives of his teammates and of Laura, the the only woman he has loved. When Grier and Fiona force Sage to go with Mia to Florida to head up that chapter of the Screaming Demons, he is mad because he has been doing all he could to resist her flirtish attempts to get in his pants. With this forced trip and close proximity it will make his attempts to keep his budding attraction in check more difficult. As a side note, I loved the description of part of each of these characters since they each seem to be a hygiene freak in their own way and have a "set" hygiene routine that dictates their lives. It was just funny to see their "daily routine" spelled out. There are so many twists and turns to this book that I was constantly kept on the edge of my seat wanting to read more and more. As with all the Screaming Demons MC Books, the story "ends" at a point and the story continues into the next book, Rough Night and I can't wait to see how this story ends.
I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest and totally voluntary review.
Sage is dealing with the loss of his team and loved one in the military. He keeps himself separate somewhat within the MC that is until he sees Mia. Just a look in her eyes has him drawn to her. Mia is at the MC to get information for a rival but she doesn't want to use her body to get it. However once she meets Sage its not a problem hooking up with him to get what she needs. She just didn't count on falling for him. When it comes out what she did it comes down to Sage to keep her safe. But once everything is settled Mia wants to leave because of the trouble she's cause but Sage doesn't want that. When things don't go as planned and all hell breaks loose on them again. Will they finally see the last of the Omens? What will happen between Sage and Mia?
This is a great story each story of this series just gets better and draws you into another chapter of the series. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.
I voluntarily read and reviewed this book for Bad Boy Update
The series just gets better and better. This is the seventh book in the Screaming Demons MC Series and was a page turner. This is Mia and Sage's story and it took me on an emotional journey. My heart broke for Sage with all the trama, tragedy and loss he'd been through. In Afghanistan he lost the love of his life and his entire team in an ambush during a mission. Survival guilt was almost more than he could bear and he was determined not to set himself up for another loss. That's why he had no interest in becoming attached to anyone. But the chemistry between him and Mia was explosive. The story is overflowing with danger and suspense. Some twists, a kidnapping, torture, beatings and rival gang disputes. Mia has suffered a lot in her life and made some bad choices. She's grateful for a second chance. Lots of drama and danger to keep you guessing. We're with a tiny cliffhanger but basically the beginning of a happy ending. I read an arc via Bad Boy Update and voluntarily chose to review. Can't wait for book #8
It took me a while to get through this book. I was so wanting to read about Sage and Mia but I would have to put the book down for a while and come back later. I can say this is the first book that I have ever found myself skipping through just to get to the end. Not sure I will be able to begin to read book 8 and 9, but maybe I can give them a chance later on. I just found that there was just to many chapters where all the characters were doing was just in their thinking stages, (no communication) I really enjoyed the first 3 books of this series but found I had a hard time getting through next next 3 books (Grier and Fiona) and now with Sage and Mia. Maybe I will try to revisit these last 2 books later on, but honestly I feel like the 3 books could have actually been combined into just one and then maybe things would not have felt like things had been left out or looked over. You just have to fill in yourself from one action to the next if you wonder how they got from one point to the other.
This is the start of Mia and Sage’s story. Sage is a former military veteran who watched his whole team get killed in a bomb explosion while they were deployed – including the one woman he loved – Laura. He has vowed to never let anyone get close again and has pretty much turned off his emotions. Mia is something else – she always seems to find trouble but is doing everything she can to redeem herself after being blamed for Hamilton getting killed. Sage and Fiona are sent to Florida to get rid of the last of the Demons and help grow the club.
Both Sage and Mia are drawn to each other, and Mia tries everything she can to get Sage to give in. But Sage is still fighting his demons – he doesn’t want to lose someone again and he feels like he is betraying Laura. Having to live in a house together, they grow close, but Sage always pulls away. When Sage is kidnapped, will Mia be able to find him? Will Sage survive the torture they are putting him through?

Brilliant series. Guarantee to keep your heart pumping
I love this series but this book is my least favourite so far. Having said that. I love that there was a little back story on Sage and even more about Mia's life on how she came to be a part of the Hell Kats at the screaming demons club. I think the story developed quite slowly. Sage and Mia is not really dealing with what they are really feeling for each other and I think Sage's behaviour of avoidance exposed them both to danger. It was because of his avoidance why Mia or anyone else from the bar didn't realise he was missing. He should have known better seeing that he was sent to deal with situation with the ruthless, wannabe Omens and their constant attempts at trying to claim what they don't deserve at any cost. Overall, I think the ending of the book was good even though it is a cliffhanger. I'm still very much looking forward for the next one to see how the story unfolds. A voluntary review from an ARC reader.
4.5 Stars This is book seven in the Screaming Demons MC series and it features Sage and Mia. She’s repenting for her sins now and she’s also falling for Sage. He can’t seem to keep his hands off her, even though he doesn’t want to want her. He’s feeling an allegiance to a dead woman. The one thing I don’t like is how he judges her. In his head he’s criticizing her choices from when she was a teenager until now. She’s never made the best choices but it seems she’s on the right track finally. I feel so bad for her. Sage continues to shun her like she doesn’t exist but then falls into bed with her at night. It’s like I can see her heart turning black the more I read her thoughts.
The emotional turmoil was insane! My emotions were all over the place! The action was fantastic as well as the characters. Character growth has been tremendous throughout this entire series. Sage’s and Mia’s story continues in the next book. I can’t wait!
Rough Trip is book 7 of Screaming Demons MC which follows the beginning of the story for Mia and Sage. Rough Trip is a sizzling and emotional MC romance which explores the complexities of love, loss, and redemption. Before meeting Mia, Sage had another woman whom he deeply loved but he was unable to save her. Since Sage was unable to save Laura's life, he swore to never love another again, never open himself up to feel that kind of pain that is until he saw Mia. Mia is a strong willed woman who is on her own mission. I found Rough Trip to be a powerful start on the story of Mia and Sage's journey. Also found this book to have heat, heart, and emotions that are skillfully woven with drama, danger, suspense, and action and then some tantalizing twists are thrown in to keep your attention as well as right on the edge of one's seat. I would absolutely recommend this book to other readers.

Sage & Mia are both affiliated with the Screaming Demons MC and while Mia is on the path to redemption, it is Mia, herself, that saves Sage. What will occur when the Omens come calling? Can Sage heal from his PTSD to go on to love again? With Mia? Each of these answers can be found in the most compelling and delicious installment of the Screaming Demons MC.
These two realistic characters, and the storyline are going to hook you from page one. Trust that should you love breathtakingly beautiful & dramatically crafted MC romance, you will adore every single word of this fast paced book.
I was beyond fortunate to have requested an advanced reader's copy of Rough Trip in exchange for my honest and voluntarily given opinion.
I highly recommend reading this installment, as well as the Series as a whole.
Each book keeps getting better. I was on the edge of my seat loving every minute of it. I was pulled in from the beginning and couldn't put it down. Lots of drama, danger, excitement, and romance. Mia wants Sage so bad but Sage has sworn off love since the love of his life was killed in Afghanistan. Sage realizes he has strong feelings for Mia but he keeps distancing himself from her. Mia is so confused about why he is doing that. She wonders if something is wrong with herself. She seduces him a couple times but each time he starts avoiding her more. When he is missing for two days, Mia knows something isn't right. She gets some help from the MC to see what happened to Sage. Will Mia find Sage? Grab this book to find out. I highly recommend it. I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
I received this ARC from Bad Boy Update. I LOVE this series. You can help but sucked in from the first chapter and you try to remind yourself to breathe! The issue with the Omen's continues and the issues between Sage and Mia seem to be never ending. Mia is able to get a night here and there out of him, but he won't let her past the wall he has built around his heart. Sage still feels like he has let down everyone he has cared about and he is not about to do that to Mia. After two nights of Sage not coming home she knows something is wrong. Mia is now a woman on a mission to find Sage, no matter the body count. Just when you think all is lost, her men track him down. She saves a bruised and battered Sage and is now determined to break down every wall he has out up.....can't wait to she if she can do that!!
Sage and Mia are both trying to move on from past trauma, Sage from Afghanistan and losing his entire team, Mia from being on the streets and over coming drug addiction. They are both drawn to each other, but Sage tries to not give in to his feelings, because he’s afraid to lose her and being unfaithful to his ex, who died in Afghanistan . Mia is being used as a spy by the Omens and she comes clean to the MC, but it takes time to return the trust she broke. They are sent down to Florida to both help everyone come to terms with Mia and to help the chapter there take care of the Omens. Sage and Mia’s feelings are growing , they give into it, but Sage soon pushes her away again, when Sage is attacked and taken, Mia steps up and does what she can to get him back. Their story is just starting and it is going to be a great read.
Rough Trip has such an interesting storyline that gives you just enough heat, confidence and something more to hit you in your feelings. The intricacies of the characters with the added bonuses of danger, suspenseful drama and definitely some action and then adding in some juicy tidbits and twists to be thrown just in to keep you firmly invested into and right on the edge. Which makes ‘Rough Trip’ a wonderful addition to this Collection.
Sage and Mia's chemistry alone gives you a sense of adventure. Their relationship will take you on such an emotional journey.
This is collection is just getting better and better with each episode.
Any opinions, recommendations, or suggestions expressed within this review our Solely and uniquely made by me. I originally and voluntarily had received in advance copy of this book via Bsprout.
Rough Trip throws Sage and Mia together on a high-stakes mission to Florida, sent by Fiona to take down the troublesome Omens. Mia is desperate to prove herself worthy of the Hell Kats and the club’s trust, while Sage struggles with his haunted past and deep feelings he refuses to admit.
Their chemistry sizzles, but Sage’s avoidance puts them both in danger—especially when he goes missing after a brutal confrontation with the Omens. Mia, stronger than ever, won’t let him face this alone and races against time to find him with the help of the Florida chapter.
Though the story unfolds slowly, it offers important backstory and builds tension, culminating in a gripping cliffhanger that left me breathless and eager for the next book.
If you love MC romances filled with passion, suspense, and emotional depth, this series is definitely worth diving into.
A splendid continuation of the Screaming Demon’s series although it is a bit slow in the beginning it soon heats up & has a suspenseful plot filled with intrigue as a MC rider (Sage) with some very painful memories is sent by Fiona to accompany a young woman (Mia) to Florida to oversee the Screaming Demons there. Their friendship soon develops into something more but there is trouble on the horizon. There is: a rival club (Omens), MC riders, club rivalry, twists & turns, drama, suspense, deceit, secrets, nightmares emotional turmoil, threats, danger, enemies, abduction, torture, starvation, complications, discovery, love & steamy scenes. Sadly this book does end in a cliffhanger & I look forward to the next book with great anticipation.
Mia and Sage's story. Mia understands that the club doesn't tryst her and hates her but this is the only place she has felt like home. She needs to prove to them she is loyal to the club. Fiona send her and Sage to Florida to take care of the Omens. As Sage and Mia make the trek to Florida it becomes hard to deny their attraction. We are given great background on Sage and his past. He may want Mia but he can't afford loving her and possibly looking her. Mia knows she wants Sage but he is set on ignoring her. When Sage is taken Mia must step up. These two are in love but Sage won't admit it and Mia doesn't want to admit it because he could hurt her. Love this series. Can't wait to see where this one goes. I was given this book for an honest voluntary review
Rough Trip. This book is a continuation of the Screaming Demons series. It is much slower than the other books. It focuses on the crazy relationship between Sage and Mia. The story begins with learning more about how Sage feels after serving in the Army and losing is love. Then we read about how rough life was for Mia. All their struggles set them in the ways they live and why Sage doesn't want to get close to Mia. But all is thrown out the window when Fiona sends them to Florida to handle the club down there. The trip was hard but living together was harder. Then about 25% left of the book we get shocking news and a race to find someone. *** I voluntarily read a Review Copy of this book. All opinions stated are solely my own and no one else’s. ***
The seventh book of the Screaming Demons MC series the start of Sage and Mia's story. There was something about this book writing style that was a bit different that the previous books. The duel POV overlapped at time that made it feel like it was dragging.
This starts of Mia's backstory, and you get an understanding where she came from and why she ended up with the MC. Then you follow them to Florida as the MC was expanding as well as getting ride of the rival MC. Along the trip is the struggle of attraction between Sage and Mia, as Sage is still fighting his past.
Good start to their story.

I am enjoying this series very much and am surprised when I finish a book to learn I can expect another shortly! This seventh book is about Grier's man Sage being sent by Fiona to accompany Mia, They are to oversee the Screaming Demons in Florida where the troublemaker Omens were headquartered. Sage had been protecting Mia, who got involved with the Demons as a spy for the Omens. She successfully switched sides because of Sage's confidence in her. Unfortunately for Mia, Sage still suffers nightmares from the loss of his entire Army team, including his lover Laura, in Afghanistan. That will seem minor when Sage is captured by the evil Omens! Good read!
I was lucky enough to get a copy of this book from BookFunnel and I voluntarily chose to review it. This isn't my usual type of book but, I have to say it was well written. For me it wasn't a quick easy read. This is one you don't want to put down in case you miss something. This one was a dark read for me but I encourage you to give this one a chance. It does seem to have a cliffhanger ending. I would encourage you to read the first book in this series before you read this one. There is a third book and I say get that one also. This one is worth your time.
Most of this novel is based on Mia pursuing Sage. His horrors of his past keep repeating in his mind, the guilt insurmountable. He can't/won't let go, resulting in struggling with his own feelings of what he should do about Mia. It's a good thing that Mia doesn't give up on Sage, seeing what a good man he is. Sage & Mia travel to Florida, on a mission to squeeze out The Omens. Trouble accelerates, leaving you with a cliffhanger!
I volunteered to read this ARC & leave an honest review.

This is a other great read by Summer Cooper and Sienna Chance.
Sage is a vet suffering from serious trauma and PTSD from losing his entire team - including his ex - in Afghanistan. Mia is a recovering drug addict being used as a spy against Sage and his MC.
There is so much baggage for each of them... but together, they just might be each other's salvation.
Fantastic characters, exciting plot.. a great story that will keep you hanging until the very end. Highly recommend!.

Poor Mia she does everything she can for Sage but he won’t let himself have a relationship with her. He is driven by guilt over being the sole survivor from his group in Afghanistan and the love of his life, so much so that he won’t take a chance on being hurt again. A vote of confidence in MIA from Fiona, and Mia and Sage head to Florida to set up another group of Screaming Demons and that’s when it all goes wrong.
This is book seven of the Screaming Demons series and Sage and Mia's story. Sage has gone through a lot in his past and because of that he is determined to never love again. Until he sees Mia. I love how protective they are over each other and how their love grows. This is a well written book filled with danger, drama, regret, love and an ending that left me wanting more. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
Sage and Mia will keep you caught up in this action-packed story. Sage has had his fill of turmoil surviving Afghanistan. Now he is home, and his combat is with the MC. Mia has her own emotional baggage and now she has put herself in a situation that is detrimental if she does not come through. Caught between the Demons and the Omens she is playing a deadly game and as she and Sage draw closer together, where she ends up? I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.
