- Writing workshop instructor for (novel) participants from Brunei, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, held by South East Asia Literary Council (MASTERA), July, 2011
- Conduct a writing workshop for Indonesia Migrant Workers in Hongkong (2004,2008, 2011), and for Indonesian students in Cairo, Egypt (2001, 2008), and University of Malaysia.
- Giving a creative writing workshop for Indonesian’s students in Tokyo, Fukuoka, Nagoya, Kyoto (November 2009).
- Giving writing workshop in Manchester; Indonesia Permanent Mission in Geneve; Indonesian Embassy in Rome, and for Indonesian students in Berlin (2009)
- Held a writing workshop with Caroline Phillips, a Germany writer, in World Book Day 2008

Performance:
- Performing two poems for educational dvd (Indonesian Language Center) 2011.
- Public reading: (poem) in welcoming Palestine’s writers in Seoul, 2006;
- Public reading short story in Geneve 2009, Performing monologue in Mizan Publishing Anniversary 2008, Ode Kampung Gathering in Rumah Dunia, etc.

Awards and honors:
1. Istana Kedua (The Second Palace), the best Islamic Indonesia novel, 2008
2. Derai Sunyi (Silent Tear, a novel), won a prize from MASTERA (South East Asia Literary Council), as the best participant in 10 years MASTERA, 2005.
3. PREH (A Waiting), play writing published by The Jakarta Art Council, honored as the best script in Indonesian’s Women Playwrights 2005
4. Mizan Award for the best fiction writer in 20 Years Mizan (one of Indonesian’s biggest publishers)
5. Asma Nadia profile was put as one of the 100 distinguished women publishers, writers and researchers in Indonesia, compiled by well-known literary critic Korrie Layun Rampan, 2001.
7. Rembulan di Mata Ibu (The Moon in the Mother’s Eye, short stories collection), won the Adikarya IKAPI (The Indonesian Book Publishers Association) Award, 2001

Pertamanya lucu ngelihat orang yang sedang baca buku ini di sebuah taman kota di kota Tangerang bberapa tahun lalu. "La Tahzan for Jomblo" ketauan banget gitu Jomblonya . . haha . . tapi di awal tahun 2013, di sebuah pameran buku daerah Jawa Tengah, saya kembali melihat judul itu termpang di pameran penerbit Mizan. Sewaktu mendekat ke arah buku, saya teringat kejadian mentertawakan seseorang yang tengah membaca buku itu, tapi saat di pameran saya mendekat dan mulai membaca sample bukunya. oalaaaaah ternyata bukunya menarik. dan saya merasa bodoh ketika mentertawai orang yang sedang membaca buku ini.

karena buku ini saya jadi enjoy dan bahkan cenderung kelewat enjoy dengan status single saya. karena dalam islam engga mengenal pacaran sih yah. saya berusaha untuk taat aja dengan agama. :))

buku ini bagus, dan sebagian besar ceritanya tu hampir sama, tiap baca jd b'pikir "iya nih, bener", "iy jg y", dll :d
