Albert Bernard Feldstein was an American writer, editor, and artist, best known for his work at EC Comics and, from 1956 to 1985, as the editor of the satirical magazine Mad. After retiring from Mad, Feldstein concentrated on American paintings of Western wildlife.
Another amusing Mad volume, this contains the usual spy versus spy cartoons and others, and the longer pieces include 'Famous people's home-study course, where you too can learn to become a famous photographer, drawer, a celebrity, a millionaire (or at least act like one) and so forth. A good spoof of a film, "The Son of Mighty Joe Kong," was perhaps the highlight. Also, a handy how-too guide on becoming a phony, and three installments on parties (adults, kids and teens). All in all, lots of good stuff. 3 solid stars!
I think these were a way for MAD to republish stuff from the 50s and 60s in the 70s. So, to a young teen, a lot of the cultural references didn't (and some still don't) make sense. Still, some amusing stuff but nothing memorable.
