The crusade against dungeonkind has been thwarted, and Kuronoth has emerged with many new contacts amongst the gods under the System. But, despite everything that has happened, he still has concerns to deal with back on Earth. After all, gods are not the only ones who play political games, and more than one person is looking to Kuronoth for answers about his recent activities. But that just begs the question, what will the master of the Forbidden Chambers of Exquisite Pleasures do next? He is already a god. What could he do after that?--------------------------------Mandatory This is a work of fiction. None of it should be attempted in the real world. None of this should be taken as even tacit approval or support of the actions portrayed herein. This is a story about a rotten bastard who gains power to take bastardry to a new level, and absolutely doesn't care what society thinks of him. This story contains gore, cursing, sex, and all kinds of nasty shit. If you have triggers, consider this your warning.
I'm a rookie author, looking to write stories that I enjoy writing. Not gonna get awards, but honestly, I'm happy with each and every person that reads my work.
Stuart is a sci-fi and anime geek, who dabbles in tabletop and video gaming. He enjoys cosplaying and has gone to DragonCon annually since 2009. Frozen Soul is his first book.
It is a sad, sad day when you finally break down and realize that you will never have the life you wanted, never do the things you wished to do, and never see the things you wanted to see. All because of a stupid lack of lightsabers.
I was a 26 y/o college student at Armstrong Atlantic State University, as a theater major. Went to school for a while before, dropped out, tried to go back, dropped out.. Not much to say other than the fact that I'm a laid back guy, and the only drama I like is the kind that's on the stage.
If I act like an idiot, or do anything to offend you, chances are it is not intentional, and I'm being oblivious. In that case, hit me upside the head, and tell me, because I don't catch subtle hints.
I've suggested before that the author's take on politics is a parody because he has been so shark jumping over the top about in some of the overly political episodes with RW references. This one with Brandon's party trying to install a "Ministry of Truth" to openly censor all competition to the party narrative in the RW coupled with his fictional President being on of the most vocal advocates of this censorship in the RW appears to point to it. Especially since the MC openly rejects the grooming agenda of rabid supporters of Brandon's party line among other things.
Otherwise an excellent progression of the storyline, especially the "in game" reason for why pagan deities manifest while the nominally "identical" deity of the vast majority of the world does not manifest.
I read all the past chapters with interest. This one I didn’t finish. The political diatribe left no doubt where his personal beliefs lie. The problem is took away from the story. A dungeon and a god worrying about socialized medical care, come on. Change the tone to reflect manipulation of the existing political party and media megaliths…part of characterization and world building. I hope the next one is better.
