Greg Nutter is a man with a plan!
The P3 Selling method takes you, knowledgeably, through all of the steps necessary to sell B2B. This is a realistic plan that takes you far beyond just prospecting and closing deals. It really focuses on everything in between as well!
Enough with the telling. Best to ask. What is it you are looking to get from this book? Would solving your B2B sales deficiencies put you in better a place? Does this type of questioning make you a little warm and fuzzy? Then possibly this book is for you.
Along with the great sales tools, there is also a lot of general business sense thrown in to keep a sales business running efficiently and profitably.
A good book for anyone who wants to solve clients’ problems and offer them opportunities by working with them instead of trying to just get their money.
Highly recommend!

The Essentials of B2B Sales Success" is a solid resource for anyone looking to improve their skills in the world of business-to-business sales. With over 30 years of experience, author Greg Nutter provides a practical guide that stands out in a crowded field.

One of the book's strengths is its clear structure. The author introduces the P3 framework, which is easy to understand and apply. Each component is explained thoroughly, offering actionable strategies that you can implement right away.

What I appreciate about "P3 Selling" is that Nutter addresses the specific challenges faced by today’s sales professionals, such as navigating complex buying committees and effectively using digital tools. This makes the content very relevant to current sales environments. The writing style is straightforward and engaging, making it easy to grasp even more complex concepts. The inclusion of real-world examples and case studies helps connect theory to practice, enhancing the learning experience.

Whether you’re an experienced sales professional or just starting out, "P3 Selling" offers valuable insights that can help you close more deals and advance your career. It’s a worthwhile addition to any sales library and reflects Greg Nutter’s expertise in the field.

The single biggest takeaway for me was to make sure that pipeline management is done from the perspective of the prospect and where they are at in the buying process and not from the perspective of the seller and the activity they are engaged in. Unfortunately, as the author noted, most CRMs capture the seller's process, which can result in misleading data. With this book being published in 2022, I found it odd that the digital environment was not addressed. Many relational conversations are occurring virtually through Zoom and Teams even if in-person meeting options are presented. The digital world has also changed the information search process and has significantly lowered switching costs (and loyalty). Email spam tools are also more sophisticated and catching many more sales emails making that avenue less effective as a primary means of sales engagement. Overall though, the core aspect of considering the prospect's buying approach is highly relevant.

A Very Advanced Book

The only reason I give it a four star review is it’s much more advanced than I require. I own a small business. Now if I were in the corporate world ( which I was a few years ago) this would be great. Very detailed instructions. Highly recommend for high pressure sales job.
