This was the report prepared by a team under the leadership of physicist Edward Condon which provided the pretext for the termination of Project Blue Book, the USAF's public investigation of the UFO phenomenon from 1952-1970. Of course, the Air Force and other agencies of government had been investigating such reports both before and after that period as has been amply documented by FOIA investigations, testimony before Congress and participant admissions.

Condon's introduction to this report pooh-poohs UFO reports, flying in the face of much of the documentation provided in the body of the book. He either didn't read it or didn't care. The conclusion of the study had been a foregone conclusion before it was even commenced.

I found this book at Knack's Drugstore in Bridgman, Michigan.
