She’s been in love with books all her life and knew at the age of 13 that she is going to be a writer one day.
That dream happened in 2009 and she started to pen her stories down on paper. Firebolt, her debut novel, were released 4 years after that, and she hasn’t stop since.
She has written more than 20 novels and she is still busy writing more.
I loved the first version of these books much better. It is imaginative and exciting, the only thing that keeps pulling you back are the many typos with which the book is full of. It’s like no one even glanced at the book to edit it or proofread it. If I were a beta reader I would have given it 4 stars but it could be better. This author deserves only 5 stars reviews and edited work.
I really was hoping the reviews were misleading about all of the grammatical errors, character name errors and etc but they were not. This could have been a great alternate but the amount of errors drew me away from the book. I had to push myself to finish it as I was never drawn in. The errors also made it difficult to match up with the other timelines and facts about the world stated like all dragon don't need a beating only the chromatic. The characters were off and shallow. I wish the author would've focused more and had a great editor for this. I'm done with the alternate timelines for now. I'll stick to the dragonian series.
Good point though it was great to see Lucian again.
The storyline in book two is quite good, probably 5 stars. Unfortunately the writing and editing are more 1 star. This edition is so wrought with language errors that it was very hard to read. Consistently, words were left out, and tenses were incorrect. Many sentences revealed as plot holes and gender pronouns were incorrect. It often read like the writer spoke English as a second language and did not have an editor. This is easily corrected and it's a shame that the book has not been edited.
The story is a good one and would have rated higher except for two problems. The teenage angst seemed a little overdone to my. The book needed serious editing. It had many words mis-used, lacked verb subject agreement, and in some passages completely failed to make sense.
Struggled thru the unedited nightmare. I cannot help editing when I come across errors, but this book had so many it was obviously submitted before it was completed. So I didn't make corrections, since I was paying for entertainment not to write. I managed to finish...not a fan of cliffhangers.
I like the alternate storyline from the original series but oh my good God, the writing is ATROCIOUS. I honestly can't believe this is the same author.
