What a series. It grabbed me from the beginning and I had a hard time putting it down. Had to see how crazy the rabbet hole would be in each book - hint a blast! Lots of action, unknown, danger, twists, and some mystery and suspense added just for fun. Really good story that mixed a bunch of story elements very well.

In this first book we meet Jackson and Alabama as they investigate some odd things that are happening. Once started had to keep reading to figure out what was going on, how it all fit, and who the good guys and bad guys were.

In the second book, the duo are back and investigating/following leads as this story starts out with a bang and lots of action. Was surprised they made it out alive of the first few chapters but then they are super lucky at times. Then the real fun begins. Lots of action, suspense, mystery, chasing the bad guys, searching for others and other fun stuff.

And for the third they are back for more danger and adventure. And what an adventure it was as they race to figure out what is going on and how they both end up in the middle without realizing it. Lots of fun, twists and people with too many guns they love to use. A bit addicting as I had to see how it all fit together and how Jackson would figure it all out and if Jackson and Alabama would make it alive to the end, again. Entertaining and a wild ride.

ever a SciFi version of Indiana Jones exist then Jackson Stone will probably take the honours.
Simultaneously futuristic as archeological in the most unexpected ways, the three books in The Horizon Protocol surprise with action and unique thrills aplenty with UFO's , parallel worlds of ancient historical times and places time warped into new scenarios that makes your yaws drop continually in amazement, Jackson Stone and his sidekick, Alabama Wren, is guaranteed to keep you awake, reading way past any normal sleeping times.
Enjoy.

Intelligent Metal

Call it what you will, nanotech with a brain IS STUPID. Nanotechnology is our future as gene manipulation is stupid. This author has thought about it and also looks in the other direction where viral manipulation could be just as dangerous. I practically have not stopped reading for two days. Now for bed.

Addictive

I made through this trilogy but unsettled with the ending. This had greed, aliens, changes of consciences but left the story unfinished.😥
