If you want to ease yourself back into reading, this book is quite helpful. I also appreciated the chapter on how to write thorough book reviews for blogs
This book reads as a cute collection of opinion pieces. I didn't really look too much into it before grabbing it on Kindle Unlimited but it seems to be written by staff members at Book Riot. I thought it was a fast paced and funny read, and it had some great tips. My favorite bits were definitely about how to better leverage your local library! Definitely a good palate cleanser after a difficult read.
I love Book Riot! I listen to so many of their podcasts and read so many of their newsletters and get so many book recommendations. This book expands on all of the Book Riot content, consolidating it into one handy reference guide. Some of it is out of date, and not all of it is relevant for everyone, but it gives excellent advice for expanding your reading skills. I did read this straight through, but the structure allows for skipping around.
Interesting collection with lots of different topics. I particularly enjoyed the ones on genrefication, how to read lots of books, and writing book reviews. Something for everyone!
