Season three chapter 58 - 81. Betrayal of dignity.
The ending was literally so good. And even like you know how these novels usually have like epilogue or side stories and it takes like 20 chapters to get through it, they are epilogue was like a couple panels, but it was so well done. It was so good and so cute and I love that. And honestly, I hated him at the beginning, like I hated him, but some of the people in like the comments were discussing how this compares to the actual novel and they were like this is just how he expresses his feelings, and of course I’m trying to see him in a better light obviously because anyone with a brain can see that he’s gonna end up being the male lead, so I was trying to like not hate him. Honestly, this is just like so good it definitely ended better than it started.
I voice typed this, and I don’t feel like rereading it and correcting it so yeah

I read the ongoing manhwa on Manta and I decided to purchase the 3rd novel because I really love the dynamic between Chloe and Damian. This manhwa uses the similar premise just like other historical manhwas, the enemy to lover's trope nevel fails to attract me. I love this manhwa so much because it has strong characters and big flaw with their own determination. And in the 3rd novel, I love the way Chloe can fight for her own pride and also principal. It shows us that although Chloe is falling in love to Damian, she still uses her brain. And in this case, Damian falls for, but he uses wicked method to grab her wife's heart. The angst in this edition is really deep. I can feel Damian's suffer and agony, but also I'm afraid of his madness. Chloe can beat him for a while, and I'm sure Damian deserves that suffer, LOL. The character's improvement also the plot is chef kiss.

S3 was pretty rushed
they did not have a proper discussion of Chloe resentment for him, there was no build up to thier resolution, it just happend which took away from the depth of the story.
This had such a likeable side characters like gallieus but I am tired of seen unrequited love male characters loke give me a strong platonic guy_girl friendship. I also hope we get sidestories of her sister Alice bc she seems so similar but different to Chloe. I rhink it would be interesting to see how she met her husband.
But Damien and Chloe have deffos become one of my fav couples!!
