I’m a huge fan of love and marriage and all that gushy stuff. Just for other people. Not me.

Avery:
I’m a simple woman. All I want is for my wedding planning business to thrive. That’s it. I don’t want some annoying photographer (Okay, I'll admit it. He's attractive. In a guy-you-want-to-hate kinda way) that tries with moderate success to get under my skin. I don’t need some adorable stray puppy that’s just dying to make me a dog mom. I don’t want any of it. All right?

Tyler:
I mean, am I attracted to Avery? Sure. If you're into the big brown eyes and full soft lips kinda thing. She may or may not have sneaked her way into my film roll more times than I can count this week. But as enticing as Avery is, she has a bite to go with it. Like a tiger, just waiting for you to come close and count its stripes so it can attack. But what if there's more to her than the human checklist vibe she gives off? And what if I'm drawn to that part?

A laugh-out-loud, clean romance that is full of all the sarcasm and swoons! ♥♥♥

So adorable! I enjoyed every minute of this one and couldn't put it down!

Story Wedding planner Avery and photographer Tyler do not hit it off well when they first meet. The sparks fly as the two are forced to work together to help their mutual client have the wedding of her dreams.

Characters Avery is a no-nonsense type of person; she takes her job seriously and will do anything to make her client happy. She already has her walls up before even meeting Tyler, and his less-then-great first impression doesn't have her wanting to lower them any time soon. Tyler is a charming character; you just can't help but like him. He is sweet, sarcastic and loves pushing Avery's buttons.

Romance I adore the whole enemies-to-lovers trope and thought it was handled really well here. Lots of fun banter and teasing, but with a touch of attraction and loads of chemistry. I thought things move at a believable pace and it was fun to see these two grow as characters.

Overall, this reminded me of a great chick flick, where you can curl up and enjoy a few laughs, some swoony romance with a fun setting. While this is the third book in the series, it stands very well on its own.

This is the third book in the series and this time it's the infamous workaholic Avery's story. Avery meets Tyler, a wedding photographer at one of the events she's organising. Tyler is pretty much smitten by her the moment he sees her while Avery is quite annoyed by his off-putting remarks. They set up totally judgemental notions about each other but as they start to get to know each other more, sparks fly between them. The question is will they finally admit their feelings? And who would make the first move? Overall, it was a cute, fun, adorable and quick read. You can binge read it in a day. Although it says that it has the enemies to lovers trope, I don't think it exactly excelled in that part. Avery & Tyler had good chemistry but the banter felt flat at times tbh.

On Schedule is a sweet, lighthearted romantic comedy. The plot revolves around a determined wedding planner and a photographer who are forced to work together.

Avery Davis is an incredibly motivated wedding coordinator. She's got everything figured out. She allows herself a set amount of time to complete each task before moving on to the next. She never stops working or slows down. She's basically a workaholic. She doesn't have time to fall in love, so she figures she'll have to schedule it in someday.

Tyler Beckett is a cute photographer who only wears flannels. One of Avery's brides hires him to photograph not only her wedding but all that happens in between. For him, it's a great opportunity, but Avery isn't thrilled with the scenario.

Along the way, they learn to communicate and open themselves to one another. Especially when they come across an abandoned puppy at a gas station and rush him to Tyler's father's vet clinic. Since that day, and thanks to puppy Elvis, the two of them have been gradually admitting their feelings for one another. But Avery is afraid that she will end up like her parents and would be unfit to be his girlfriend. So, how is it going to play out?

I'm trying to read as many romance novels as possible in February, and I was beyond thrilled when given access to this arc. I read the first two (standalone) books in Dowell's The Wedding Business Series (available on KU) to get a feel for the series and the author. I've had fun reading the series because the main characters in each book are all close friends who work in the wedding industry. I am happy to say that I've enjoyed them all, but this was by far my favorite, probably because I'm a sucker for an enemy to lover trope.

Avery, the main character, is a level-headed perfectionist who has inherited her parent's workaholic tendencies. She is by far my favorite of the main characters in this series. Her new-found-enemy, Tyler, is a passionate photographer who loves to push her buttons as much as he possibly can while they work together, and I am HERE for it.

Plus, Elvis. I'm not going to say more to avoid spoilers, but Elvis owns my heart.

I gave the previous two books 4 stars (because I couldn't give them 4.5). So yet again, 4 stars - but know that it's actually 4.5 stars!

This was such a cute read!!

Avery is a career-driven, organized woman who doesn’t have time to breathe in her tightly planned days so when she meets the sarcastic and charming Tyler she’s not sure how to feel. She’s been in the wedding planning business for almost a decade and when she overhears Tyler insulting her choices to her client, Whitney she hopes she’ll never have to see him again.

Unfortunately the universe has plans because Whitney, her client is wants Tyler, who is the photographer to be there for every step of the planning taking photos.

Going on a few blind dates won’t hurt, Avery wants to please those around her and when her friends beg to help she relents, she ends up having two nightmarish dates that end in her swearing off ever letting Haley and Hope set her up again.

The worst part, she can’t help but compare them to Tyler.

After spending more time together Avery starts to wonder if she might feel more.

I loved this book the light airy atmosphere left me smiling and laughing along the way. I enjoyed the development of Avery and Tyler’s relationship and of course I love Elvis...

I also enjoyed the dual-POV as we could see just how much Avery and Tyler liked each other. Tyler helped Avery realize that she wouldn’t end up like her parents, she was kind and did everything she could to help others.

Thank you to NetGalley, Victory Editing, and of course Summer Dowell for writing this lovely book!

This story was just exactly what I needed to pick me up out of the winter blues! I've followed this series from the beginning, it doesn't necessarily need to be read in order, and couldn't wait for Avery's story. Let's just say from the first flannel shirt to the last Peanut M&M, this one hit the spot!

Avery is a wedding planner and I love the fast-paced nature of her job and personality, but the vulnerability she's covering makes her human and relatable. She's a favorite character of mine. From the moment Tyler sets foot in her life, everything was topsy-turvy and I couldn't get enough of the banter mingled in with wedding details.

Tyler is a pretty chill, laid back kind of guy, and Avery mixes with him like his Sour Patch Kids fruit smoothie. Her prickly, sour ways melt into a sweetness that oozed swoon.

The characters and situations kept a smile on my face and little Elvis stole my heart. I love everything about this author's writing style--she does RomCom sooo well!

Content: mild romance

Thank you @summers_pen for the e-arc of On Schedule! I’ve been looking forward to reading this book and I loved the previous two.

Avery is a wedding planner and Tyler is a photographer. You’d think since their profession mix so often they’d get along so well. Wrong!

These two were quite opposites and I loved it. Avery is a perfectionist and very structured (I relate) and Tyler…isn’t.

I laughed out loud on multiple occasions! The sassy remarks between Tyler and Avery, some disastrous dates, and some meddling friends had me smiling throughout the book.

If you love low steam, but awesome chemistry and all the swooniness, definitely put this book on your list.

On Schedule: A Romantic Comedy (The Wedding Business Book 3)
By Summer Dowell
Pub Date: Feb 17

I was having a day and this book came to me at the perfect time. Love, love when that happens! I was literally laugh out loud with this one and giggling like an idiot😅. It was awesome!

This book has...
👰One wedding planner
📷One photographer
💕Women Friendship
😏 Sarcasm
❤️ Romance
🤣 Humor
🐶 A cute puppy

Summer writes such relatable situations and realistic characters. For example when Avery texted Tyler by mistake....I felt that 😂 !
Really enjoyed the chemistry between the main characters and also the women friendship. Having healthy women relationships is kind of rare to find in fiction. It was nice and made this book even better.
Seeing the female leads from the last books was so much fun.

So if this sounds like something you would enjoy I recommend checking it out. Also Summers blacklist novels, they are just as great!

Thank You @netgalley for providing an ARC in exchange of my honest thoughts and opinions.

Someone get me a fainting couch because I’m about to swoon! 😍😍
This one is definitely my favorite of the series and I could totally see myself grabbing it for a reread in a few months just so I could relive this book hugging feeling!

My cheeks hurt from smiling so hard! I don’t think I stopped grinning or giggling the whole time. My romance loving heart was dancing the whole time!

I loved Avery & Tyler! They were SO CUTE together. They were so much a like, but it worked so well for them! They just meshed - even their beginning “hate” phase was just well placed banter and I was FOOORRR IIITTT!!!
I loved how they fed off each other. Their dialogue was my favorite!

Avery was a little uptight, but her upbringing really affected who she was. But at her heart of hearts she loved people and was a sweet character.

Tyler was a flannel clad dreamboat! Loved him from the moment I met him. 😉 But I loved how thoughtful and patient he was.

There were a few hiccups through their relationship (as it always goes) but they communicated with each other and didn’t harbor anything for too long.

I loved seeing all three girls together again, mostly through text, but those were some of my favorite parts. The group chat dynamic is something I can relate to. 💕

I don’t know what else to say other than I loved every moment of this story! From the hate, to the obvious matchmaking, to all of the love!

I’m sad to see this cast of characters go, but I’m excited for the next project from Summer!

A cliché romance with some predictable moments, an ideal read for when you need something that doesn't demand too much from you as reader.
A short novel, but very well structured, with a fluid and appealing writing, the breath of fresh air I was really needing while reading two heavier fantasy books! The characters are well built, with the right depth and balance considering the story itself and the size of the book, which surprised me a lot in a positive way. In terms of description, it gets a little lost, which I think is normal and didn't affect the reading experience too much. It's not something I particularly like, as it does affect the visualization of events a bit, but that's understandable in smaller books because the spatiality ends up not being the most relevant part. I loved seeing the development of the relationship between Avery and Tyler, a very slow burn romance... I loved the natural way in which the characters gradually went towards each other, the way they gave in to their feelings, as something inevitable and out of their control. How in the beginning there was animosity that turned into friendship and then evolved into something more, it's not exactly enemies-to-lovers but it conveys a similar feeling, it's like friends-to-lovers with something more. But I feel too much time was wasted around the development and admission of feelings and then there are too few moments of the actual romance. One of the things that caught my attention the most on the cover was the little dog and halfway through the story all I could think of was at what point he would show up, until he did and he was the sweetest thing ever! Little Elvis and the role he takes in the characters’ lives! 🥺 Avery's friends as well, as secondary characters, are very well fitted in and left me wanting to read the books revolving around them immensely. The blind dates they set up for Avery provided the funniest moments in this book, my only regret is that the third date that was part of the pact between them never happened ahahahah. Also, special shoutout to Tyler's family are also secondary characters that I loved, especially the way they interacted with Avery.
A very light and enjoyable read, nothing wow but it held me in each of its pages!

Thank you NetGalley and Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op for providing me with this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I loved this book in the sense of a casual read. This gave me a proper hallmark Christmas movie story vibe, and the best part is it seems like that was the whole point!

Avery is a wedding planner, top in her field and Tyler is a wedding photographer, top in his. They both come together for a wedding and start off on the wrong note. However, over the whole wedding planning and working in the same places at the same time, they are attracted to each other.

Some parts of the stories were super cliched for my liking and the story could use some more depth. There were parts where I thought that a person who is more career-oriented is shown as someone who is heartless and has no respect for relationships. This somehow rubbed me the wrong way. I don't see an issue with being career-oriented and not wanting relationships.

Then there's the whole Taylor Swift slander, which I HATE in anything. To be fair it was one part but still. I don't appreciate it and just felt like I needed to mention it here.

Overall it was a fun read, I do look forward to reading the first two parts of the series.

first of all, thank you to the netgalley and publisher for this ARC.

what an enjoyable read ever! On Schedule is very cute and sweet book ever. i’m so glad that i read this in February. a short novel but really well-written and has great plot. this is the third book in the series but we could read as a stand-alone. this is my first time reading a book from Summer Dowell and in this series. absolutely cute i really love it. in this book we got, Avery who is a wedding planer and Tyler who is photographer and they have to work in a wedding together. very interesting story, i love the chemistry, THE BANTER AND THE SARCASM OH GOD. what i loved more about this book is we got a dual pov. for me, it was great that this book is a clean-romance bcs is already perfect like that. and the ending is just really ended so well and perfect. did i mention theres a cute puppy? bcs oh god the puppy is so lucky istg. the relationship between Tylee and his family also the most adorable thing ever. in this book we got to learn and know that family and friends comes first before works. that’s happened in Avery’s life. she basically working so hard and forget to find a boyfriend or being in love. ALSO WE GOT A TAYLOR SWIFT REFERENCE AHHH IM SO IN LOVE. in conclusion, i LOVE AND ENJOYED THIS BOOK SO SO MUCH. i do recommend this book to who loves:

-clean-romance
-enemies to lovers
-boy falls first
-cute moments
-full of banter

If you’ve followed me for very long, you know that I love a good rom-com. And Summer Dowell is one of my favorite rom-com authors. She just has a way with her characters and plots that keeps me invested in the story from the very first page. I was excited to get to read the third book in The Wedding Business series. If you haven’t read any, you can start with If It’s Perfect. But these books stand on their own really well.

I loved Avery in this one! She’s such a schedule girl. Which works well for her job as a wedding planner. Until she ends up thrown together with Tyler. I really loved the meet cute (part where the main characters meet) in this one. Avery has just been to the dentist and has a numb mouth. And she finds Tyler trying to convince her bride of something. It’s just so funny!

Tyler is a great guy. He’s not the kind of schedule freak that Avery is. He’s a photographer. And a little messy. I had to love the way his camera kept getting stuck on Avery.

There are so many great parts to this book. The puppy that these two find may be my favorite ever. I loved the little guy, how could you not!

Make sure to read this one. I loved it!

I was sent a copy of On Schedule as a gift from the author. All opinions are my own.

All the Hallmark movie feels for this book. Its cliché, but gives you all the toe-curling feels.

Tropes I loved:
✨Workaholic MC
✨Enemies to Lovers
✨Slow burn
✨There is a PUPPY in this🥹

This is a clean romance, with great chemistry and banter between Avery and Tyler, and written oh so hilariously.

I enjoyed this a lot! Definitely recommended.

My full review can be found here: bit.ly/3IXmSJZ

His hands reach out, grabbing the edge of the small table as if he hopes it'll steady him somehow. "Avery, I'm not the best guy when it comes to feelings and emotions. I'd much rather gloss over things than talk them through. But if there's one thing I trust, it's my camera. It's the pictures I take. Photos don't lie."

First off, I should've had this review done AGES ago. But life happened lol. Anywayyyy...

The whole series was so much fun!! It made me really realize how much I love wedding-themed romances. Tyler and Avery were perfect together! I loved how their relationship had a little bit of everything. And even though they didn’t like each other at first, they matched up so well! Even with their careers! Also, Elvis deserves a shoutout because he’s the force that really brought them closer...plus he was freaking adorable. 😍

Oh yeah, and I approve of the Hallmark aspects that Hope and Haley tried to implement because I would totally do the same thing being a Hallmark lover myself. 😂

As far as content goes: There was no language that I can remember. Some light innuendo. A few jokes about drugs. Avery struggled with being perfect and trying to always take care of everything. Her and Tyler both had some workaholic tendencies. None of this was triggering for me, but could possibly be for other readers. I don't think there was anything else. I would describe the book as a mild "PG-13 romance movie."

And now, I'm going to let my list of IMPORTANT points do most of talking...

1: Ahhhh hallmark movies...

2: They haven’t met, but I already know I’m going to love their dynamics

2.5: Yep, I was rightttttt

3: I’ve been so distracted with reading that I forgot about my list lolll

4: Tyler is the best kind of pest

5: I’m not usually good with surprises either tbh

6: How are they so freaking cute together?!

7: The “pointless conversation”

8: Hayley is trying so hard and it’s so bad that I love it so much

9: Photography jokes

10: Her almost-fall

11: She does NOTTTT want healthy snacks

12: THE PUPPY!

13: I’m here for the baby (puppy)-talk

14: I need to know about this Olivia person...

15: Oh my gosh, ANOTHER blind date for the books lol

16: I know we just saw Tyler in the last chapter but I already missed him

17: Their text conversations are adorable

18: The cake-testing

19: Tyler’s convo with Elvis lol

20: Doggie sweaters

21: I love it when he takes pictures of her

22: NOW I KNOW WHY EVERYONE WAS TALKING ABOUT THE DARK ROOM IN THEIR REVIEWS

23: I love dual meaning convos lol

24: Avery’s attachment to Elvis is precious...ahhhh and she talks with him toooooo

25: YOU TELL HER, TYLER

26: Awwww I was hoping that Elvis wouldn’t be stuck in the kennel

27: CHAPTER 22!!!

28: Stoppppp! Do NOT ruin this for me!!

29: I love and hate that time has passed

30: YES, YOU OVERREACTED

31: CHAPTER. 27.

32: I am living for this adorable confession

33: The epilogue is pure GOLD

The book was funny, swoony, happy, and all kinds of sweet...something that’s always guaranteed with Summer. I also have a new appreciation for flannel and I’m even more convinced that blind dating wouldn’t be for me lol. Each book of this series can be read as a standalone, but I highly recommend reading them in order! If you're a fan of wedding-themed romances, all three books need to be on your TBR!! 🍰💐📝

Dear Summer,
We’re going to be first-name-basis-friends, okay? Because you’re Summer in my mind and I just can’t call you Mrs. Dowell. We good?
I just have to tell you how much I love Avery and Tyler. I love them! I love that Avery is a workaholic with a genuine love for what she does, driven by maybe a little of fear. I love that Tyler loves what he does. I loved all the wedding and photography talk. I loved the banter. I loved the way their romance developed, their enemies to friends to lovers story.
So many things I loved about this one. Here are some more:
-That Thanksgiving get together! I love big families in books and I cannot lie. And I loved that.
-Olivia! I won’t say anything more because I don’t do spoilers but I love her.
-ELVIS! Oh my heck. I’m not even an animal person but I want to snuggle Elvis and dress him in little sweaters.
-The food. Gosh, it makes me happy when you authors write food into your books! Did I finish the book with a healthy craving for pecan pie bars? Yes. Did I satisfy that craving? Also yes.
-Seeing Hope and Haley more. I just think they’re all so cute and I love the friendships between them!
-The bride! She’s a doll and I kind of think she would fit in with the group friends.
-The photo developing scene. Oh. My. Lanta. That was some goooood chemistry, right there (and I mean that in the swoony, romantic way, not the literal chemical reaction that develops photos sense).

I absolutely adored this book and this series and can’t wait to see what else you deliver in the future.

Your Elvis fan,
Jessica

I loved every minute of this book !!
Avery is your workaholic, list-making, notes-taking wedding planner, and Tyler is our free-spirited photographer and these two have to work together for a few months on a wedding...
This was an enemies to friends to lovers slow burn romance with a little puppy in the mix <3

Avery was a great main character. She was level-headed and I honestly wish I had her work ethic!
the banter between her and Tyler is super entertaining !!

This is a clean romance which means no spice -and if you know me by now you should know that all of the romance I read has the knee-trembling filthy smut in it- frankly, this book was just as good without explicit sex scenes! the chemistry was there, the writing was amazing and it was so so funny !!

This is part of an interconnected series where the main characters are besties but on schedule can be read as a stand-alone. I haven't read the previous books but since I loved this one so much I am looking forward to do so!

Summer Dowell writes funny books. It's just what she does. The random phone call between Tyler and Avery, teasing her is one of my favorite parts. Them falling in love with the puppy, also adorable (side note: Hound Dog by Elvis Presley is absolutely stuck in my head) Tyler is sarcastic and sweet and fun all rolled into one attractive flannel covered man. Avery is a little high strung, a put together go getter that maybe isn't so put together. It makes for some good times.
My other favorite scene: Thanksgiving
I loved getting to hang out with Hope and Haley again, and I am so thrilled they all found their HEA's with some great guys.

Well I absolutely devoured this in a day. Without a doubt my favorite of this series.

I am usually not one to laugh at my books while reading, but this one had me laughing multiple times. The perfect amount of snark and banter between Tyler and Avery. I loved the right dose of sarcasm and the sweetness combined for chemistry from the get-go. I really loved them together and I liked all of the forced proximity (and cute puppy) aspects that helped Avery take down some of her walls.

The only small thing I could have added would be an extension to a few scenes. The book is under 300 pages and at times I felt one or two things could have been further expounded upon. But that’s a tiny complaint compared to how much I adored this.

I looooved the setting with the wedding business, the photography (that darkroom moment though!!!), and yes I’m going to mention again, A CUTE PUPPY. I love a great dual-POV sweet romcom and this delivered.

The conflict worked well into the build-up of the plot and I liked that it wasn’t overdrawn. I knew what was going to happen, but wasn’t frustrated because it made sense. I’m just happy everyone came to their senses and that a sweet epilogue was added to the end to boot. Another great read from this author!

Overall audience notes:
- Contemporary Romance
- Language: none
- Romance: kisses

This book was cute. It was definitely a rom-com and I laughed a few times out loud but I felt like the reasons why they couldn't be together were not built up enough. It wasn't very believable in my opinion. It seems like they wanted to try enemies to lovers then sorta gave up on it.

I loved the banter and the time with Tyler's family was hilarious. I wish we had gotten some more time with the grandma.

The epilogue got me so frustrated because the timeline seemed I believe for the characters. It was a pretty decent story but I just felt like some parts were tied up to nicely and others were just not believable I'm sure other people will enjoy this book.

This had no sexual scenes and it did have somewhat of a slow burn.

This book really hit the spot for me. We first meet Avery a type A successful wedding planner, think J-Lo in 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘞𝘦𝘥𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘗𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘳. She has poured her whole self into her business, everything is planned and perfect down to the smallest detail. Sure romance is great and one day she’ll get around to meeting Mr. Right but for right now she is quite with her work and the success she is having. However, as it turns out her friends have other plans as they’ve declared Avery will be their Christmas charity project and before she knows it Avery has agreed to let her friends set her up on 3 blind dates in an effort to find her one true love.

What she wasn’t expecting is Tyler Becket. Tyler is a hardworking, kind-hearted and creative photographer with a thing for flannel whom her latest bride has chosen to capture her special day but not only that, every moment leading up to said special day. Their first encounter doesn’t exactly put them off to a great start and as they work together Tyler bugs Avery in all the right ways. Their banter is snappy, witty and just the right amount of flirty, I loved that he fell first and her internal battle to resist his charms.

There were so may great moments in this book, I had a hard time putting it down. My favourite twist is Elvis, the abandoned puppy they come across and who plays such a pivotal role in their relationship. I mean who can resist a fluffy bundle of joy. This is a lovely enemies-to-lovers romance, I loved both of these characters so much. While it is technically the 3rd in the series you can absolutely read it as a stand alone but I look forward to reading the first two books about Averys friends Haley and Hope … and I am crossing my fingers we will get to know more about Tylers family, they were such a hoot.

This book really checked off all the must haves for me when it comes to romcoms. It is my first read by author Summer Dowell, though I did already own the first 2 books in the The Wedding Business Series and I can’t wait to read them both. I have been following Summer on Instagram for a while now and she is just such a sweet, fun person. She, like myself, is a mama of many and knowing how much goes into that I am in absolute awe that she is is stringing words together in such a wonderful way. This book was delightful, witty and just an absolutely perfect clean romance. I would whole heartedly recommend it to fans of authors such as Sarah Adams and Sophie Kinsella.

Thank you to Summer Dowell and NetGalley for an eARC in exchange for my honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

Story Notes

This story was so much fun to read. I loved getting to know Avery better and to finally see her meet her match in Tyler. He bugs her in all the right ways and she does the same for him in turn. Their banter is snappy, snarky and just the right amount of flirty without crossing the line into meanness. It was also interesting to see a bit more into her wedding planning business. I've planned and coordinated several weddings for friends and family and am currently doing the same for my cousin. It's not easy getting all those choices made and still keeping everyone smiling. But clearly both Avery and Tyler needed to be pushed beyond their own expectations and attitudes so they could see that different doesn't mean bad. Tyler's family is a hoot and just the kind of people I'd love to spend a holiday with. They are all up in each other's business and I love it - so very much like my own family that I found myself reminiscing this past Christmas and all it's crazy. And while Avery's family did things differently, they still prioritized family and togetherness, though in an unusual way. I wish there had been a bit more about Avery and her misconceptions about her parents though what was told was pretty informative. I'm just a lover of good backstories so I want ALLLLLL the details, haha! I'm definitely highly recommending this book for others to read. It was funny, swoony and engaging from start to finish. Well done, Summer!!

I received this temporary complimentary ARC from Summer Dowell via NetGalley. I am not required by anyone to write a positive review but am most pleased to do so. I will receive no fiscal compensation for this review and the opinions expressed herein are entirely my own.

"Tyler is a sarcastic comment followed by a warm smile. A salty bowl of popcorn paired with a sugary soda."
"Instead of looking offended, Tyler's face fills with that smile that could make a woman want to start picking out curtains."
Avery is a dedicated wedding planner, with spreadsheets and checklists galore. Tyler is a photographer, whose newest client has an unusual request: film her and her fiancee's entire wedding preparation. The only problem is it puts him in continual contact with Avery, who he inadvertently offended when they first met. As their sharp remarks turns to interested questions, they find there is more to each other than they originally expected. And as their feelings grow, they have to decide if love is worth the risk of adjusting, of compromise, and of failure.
Summer Dowell has been on my list of authors I would love to try, and this book was a perfect opportunity. I could not get over how much I loved it right from the start. I was laughing out loud within the first couple of pages, and looked forward to each opportunity to read it. Avery and Tyler were so fun to get to know and their witty banter and sarcasm was such a joy! Avery's relationships with her friends was something else I really enjoyed. Finally, Avery's relationship with Tyler's family was something else I loved!
You won't want to miss this wonderful story! I can't wait to read more of Summer Dowell! I'm officially a fan!
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

This book was such a fun and laugh out loud read. I enjoyed every part so much. This books starts out with Haley and Hope enticing Avery to have a hallmark love. I laughed at that part because most rom coms do give off that hallmark vibe.

Avery is a wedding planner with a headstrong attitude. Tyler is a photographer filled with passion for his job and has a thing for plaid flannel shirts. They are thrown together and having to work together for one purpose. Lots of attitude, smiles, sarcasm, moments of tension that can be cut with a knife. And a cute puppy that will soften the most strict person. They both start to question their choices for relationships without the other knowing. There are parts of the book that I laughed at and cringed at all because her friends wanted her to be happy. There are parts that my heart broke, but overall this book is great. This is a clean read and only mentions kissing. It is a dual pov.

Thankful to be able to read this from the author/netgalley. My review is my own opinion.

This romcom had me laughing like a crazy lady to myself and I loved every page of it! I loved all the characters and the awkward situations they could easily find themselves in. If there’s a book I could choose to put as the sole example of what a great rom-com should look like it would 100% be this one!

When wedding planner and workaholic Avery Davis finds herself on bad terms with a new photographer her bride/client insisted on tagging along EVERYWHERE, she can’t help but also notice some pretty attractive features. Tyler is a 30yr old photographer who can’t stop secretly taking snapshots of Avery when she isn’t looking. It’s clear Avery wants nothing to do with any relationship especially after two blind dates her best friends put her through. But maybe all it takes is a stray puppy and some quality time to change her view of Tyler. Can she hold down a relationship or is she destined to be like her parents who prioritize work over everything.

This is a sweet, lighthearted, fluffy romance without any smut and I liked the dual PoV aspect to the story (I am a big fan of having both love interests' PoV). It is a well written novel and even though it is virtually plot-less, it still provides a good source of entertainment. I liked the slow build to the relationship and Avery and Tyler are a cute couple - the puppy, Elvis, also adds to the cuteness of the story. I can't say that there was much to make the book stand out from the crowd, but it wasn't too long or boring. If you want excitement and adventure, I wouldn't read this book, but if you are after a delightful and soothing reading experience which will allow you to focus on and enjoy the characters instead of plot, this could hit the mark.

Many thanks to NetGallery and Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op for approving my request for an advanced copy; which is greatly appreciated.

Avery is an absolute girl boss with no time for love. At least, that’s what she tells herself. With two friends desperate to help her find the Hallmark-worthy boyfriend of her dreams, Avery is going to have to let down her guard. Tyler is a flannel-loving booked-and-busy photographer who just so happens to be working with Avery on a wedding she’s planning. Could it be that these two coworkers become unlikely friends…or maybe more?

This was my first ever ARC! Thank you so much to Summer and NetGalley for letting me have a copy. This book is so much fun. It’s the perfect light, fluffy, and funny romantic comedy that anyone could ever ask for. While this story isn’t spicy, it does have a great ratio of slow-burn romance to laugh-out-loud interactions. Seriously, I feel like everyone has been on dates with the guys Hope and Haley set up for Avery. The relatability of this book was off the charts. I couldn’t put this down and can’t wait to read more from Summer Dowell!

Avery is a no nonsense, workaholic wedding planner who doesn’t have time for a relationship, no matter how many Hallmark movie romances her friends try and recreate in her life. And she really doesn’t appreciate it when she hears Tyler, a photographer, criticizing her venue idea to her bride at a meeting. Plus, who wears flannel shirts in California?

The third and final book in The Wedding Business series was really cute! I have loved each book in this standalone series! This is one of those books where you know the people would be so great together, and you just can’t wait until they realize it. I love Summer’s writing - she never fails to make me laugh! I can’t wait to see what she writes next!

I received a complementary copy from NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

It took me a few chapters to find this book interesting, but when it did; it was good. Avery's life revolves around her wedding planning business. She loves work more than her social life.
Tyler hits off wrong with Avery.
Avery has dates lined up and those dates make her want to run far away, but though she is never on dates with ... and fumes when he is by her side yet she is happier with him.
Liked how the story escalated after it took off.

Did you know that photographers are the only people who don't get arrested for flashing in public?" I wait for it. One, two... "Oh my gosh, that's so dumb!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫
🔥 (kissing only)

-slow burn
-clean romance
-enemies to lovers
-forced proximity

On Schedule was such a refreshing, sweet, hallmark style romcom that had me smiling from beginning to end! It was definitely a slow burn, but I was just as entertained with Avery and her best friends as much as I was with her and Tyler. I loved how much time they were forced to spend together and watching their relationship develop. They had fun chemistry and banter that had me laughing out loud!

This is such a feel good, easy to get into book that comes out on Feb 17th, so be on the lookout for On Schedule next week!

Thank you Summer for the gifted ARC in exchange for an honest review!
