Oh the bunnies! Man I love the art style and atmosphere of Rabituza, I mean everything is so aesthetic and fun and ever rabbit bad*ss inhabitant I come across and get added into the fold it just adds that much for fun and excitement also getting to see some of these further more advanced game cities as the adventures continue in is so much fun, not to mention my favorite section from the anime was the crystal scorpions arc and getting to start into that at the tail end of this volume was just the icing on top. I still feel like this is an underrated series that a lot more people are gonna jump into once they stop sleeping on it but until then I just keep enjoying my secret joy. 3.75/5
4.25/5 Another great volume! This volume has some great action as well as interesting developments about the wider world of Shangri-La Frontier. After the end of the last volume and the events that transpired, it's clear that Sunraku and his group are shaking up expectations for the Shangri-La Frontier game. This adds a fascinating component that elevates the series beyond just a really good story about exploring a video game. I'm excited to see how that is integrated further into the plot going forward.
Why am I lowkey more interested in learning more about the stuff that happened in the first chapter of this volume rather than watching Sunraku be a beast of a player? Like….. what is the developers agenda with the game? I just wanna know!
