We all know the youngest Bradley sibling must be the most carefree of the bunch. Last this writer heard, Palmer was employed with at least five different jobs. Pet walker, house sitter, vet receptionist, nanny, and the least of my favorite, pooper scooper. To each her own, I guess.
Word on the docks is Palmer has caught the eye of our latest new Seaside resident and single dad, Hunter Bryan. Oh, his little boy, Charlie, is just the sweetest thing. A little seagull has planted in my ear that Palmer will be Charlie’s new nanny…don’t worry, Seasiders, I’ve got my ear to the ground and will keep you updated on this latest development.

A small town, slow burn romance between a single dad and his son’s nanny, Lost to You warmed my heart thoroughly–as I’ve come to expect from every single Kelly Elliott novel I pick up.
I know I say this with each new book I read in any of Kelly Elliott’s series, but I think this is my favorite so far in the Seaside Chronicles. Palmer and Mason made an adorable pair. Both kind and with a heart of solid gold, they clicked instantly…although it took them quite a while to finally give in to their attraction. I loved that it wasn’t that Mason or Palmer were playing games. They didn’t want to get their hearts broken after both having bad breakups in the past... Read More
"I've never felt this way about anyone before. Yes, I've felt attraction, lust, desire, longing. I once even thought I was in love. But with you...it's like I feel you there before I see you."
What You'll Find: ✔️Workplace Romance ✔️Single Parent ✔️Smalltown ✔️All The Feels ✔️Dual POV
Mason is the new doctor in town. He's also a single dad and in need of a nanny for the summer. Enter Palmer. Known to always being doing one odd job, or five, at any given time... she agrees after some reluctance to add nanny to Mason's son Charlie, to her list.
And from there this light, fun and sweet story takes off. It's got swoon and steam. The perfect characters, setting, and family dynamics. It made me smile while at times also bring tears to my eyes. Those are my favorite kind of moments, and this author always does them so well!
The Seaside Chronicle aspect reads similarity to Lady Whistledown, but has the author's unique and cleaver wit that I have been loving! It's such a fun highlight of the books in this series! And the reveal in the end!!! I KNEW IT!! This is the third book in the series and definitely my favorite thus far. Can't wait for the final book though!

Shannan – ☆☆☆☆ LOST TO YOU is the third installment in The Seaside Chronicles series. It cannot be read as a standalone; it has to be read in the order that the author intended. It has a continuous storyline that will not make sense reading out of order.
Palmer is the youngest sibling of the Bradley family. She's a free spirit, not really finding her passion, yet having multiple jobs people think are beneath her. When she meets the new doctor in town, Mason, she finds him extremely attractive, but when he asks her to be his son Charlie's nanny, she knows she can't take that job. When Mason convinces her that she should take the job, she knows it's only a matter of time until she falls in love with him. They both fought their feelings for each other, but when Mason's past shows up at his door and Palmer goes out of her way to protect Charlie, Mason knows he's all in.
I loved watching this relationship develop. Charlie was such a big part of the storyline, which I loved, and he made the book for sure.
I need the Ms. Seaside reveal!! I can't wait for the next installment!

5 Falling In Love When You Least Expect It Stars!!
I freaking LOVED this book so much! I’m a sucker for a great single parent trope and Kelly Elliott has given us one of the cutest little boys when she wrote Charlie Bryan… there was no way Palmer could resist becoming his Nanny… especially when it gets her closer to Mason and all his hotness! I could feel their connection as I was reading this book and the fact that Palmer finally not only acknowledged their chemistry and slowly but surely started acquiescing to it as well.
There were so many moments that had a smile on my face. Especially when it came to Charlie and Palmer. The love she has for this little boy is truly beautiful. She’s a perfect person to have in his life because she understands what true and abiding love is. Add in Mason and their slow building up to their sexy times and I was in heaven.
Not only are we getting a fabulous single parent story, but the entire Bradley family plays a big part of this story. Their closeness and the way the lean on each other is wonderful. There were so many laugh out loud moments when all the girls were together. Especially when talking about the town gossip, Ms. Seaside. Palmer and her brother Brax are on the hunt for her because we need to know how she’s getting all these details on the townsfolk… we get a little hint at the end of this book… but I’m not sure if it’s true or if Kelly Elliott is throwing us off! We’ll see when we get Braxton’s story in Someone to Love!
If you’ve not read this series you need to do so because you’re missing out on great stories and family love that Ms. Elliott is so good at writing!
With every single book in those series I am loving it more and more. Seriously, I am in love in those books. I knew that Palmer and Hunter's book will be awesome and it definately was.
The pacing was actually quite nice and they both had the chance to get to know each other. The waiting is always worth it when you know that this person will be your entire world and you want to spend you life with. For me they are the cutest couple form those series.
And let me tell you something more...there is definately heat and enough smut in this book, which makes you to love the story even more.
I enjoyed all the characters from the previous books that had appearance in Lost in you. It was really fun to see how is their stories progressing.
The most important part, we did had some little spoilers who might me the person behind the Seaside Chronicle gossip. But ofcourse you have to read the book to find out. The last book will be worth all the waiting, because we will finally have Braxton and Harlee story. I am soo excited about it and can't wait for the book to come out.
I received an ARC copy of this book and this is my honest opinion.
We are back in Seaside, and Ms. Seaside is all over the Bradley family in this issue. Her gossip is relentless and mostly accurate, but who is she or he? Mason is the new Doc in town and has all the single women’s interests, but he is focused on his son Charlie. His first order of business is to find a nanny. Palmer comes highly recommended. But she is not interested in the job, she has plenty.
Palmer and Charlie have a connection, and she finally agrees to the job. I love how Mason sees Palmer and encourages her; as the friendship grows into more, this does not change. There are obstacles in both their paths; will they overcome them?
Thank you to the Author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.
How does this series seem to get better with every book? Oh right…it’s because Kelly Elliott is a writing genius! I loved Palmer and Mason’s story! Palmer has been intriguing from the start…eccentric and perfectly fine doing her own thing. And Mason is the hot, new doctor in town and single dad! He knows right from the start that there is something there between him and Palmer but she resists him but she can’t resist his adorable son, Charlie! We see Addie and Sutton along with their husbands dealing with their pregnancies and helping Palmer along in her decisions! Honestly every book in this series seems to just suck me in more. I got full body goosebumps at the end of this book! Ooohh I cannot wait for Braxton and Harlee!! ~Alexis 💜
Sweet, single dad trope gets me EVERY SINGLE TIME!! Kelly Elliott had my heart melting over Palmer & Mason plus his adorable son, Charlie.
I'm loving how Palmer found the perfect man for her who accepted her as she is without wanting to change her. Palmer is the last Bradley sister standing and has decided love wasn't for her... until Dr Zaddy came to Seaside and rocked her world .
Hold onto your hats because that epilogue will SHOCK YOU!!!!
In my opinion, you really can’t go wrong with a feel good, small town romance, and that is exactly what this series delivers with each new book. I like getting introduced to each new couple and see how they interact with characters we have met in previous books. I look forward to continuing this series.
I can’t get enough of this town and these characters! And finding out who Ms. Seaside is! Palmer, Mason, and Charlie are everything. I’ve been so excited to read this one and just gah! I loved it so so much!
4.5 stars! Finally, Palmer’s story! I was so excited to find out more about her, and I wasn’t disappointed. I adored her and how she fit so seamlessly into Mason and Charlie’s life. Palmer and Mason were incredible together. The tension was so, so good, and I enjoyed the bit of drama regarding Charlie’s mom. I am beyond excited for the next book, the ending left me shook! *I received an ARC in exchange for my honest review.
Lost To You is the third book in Kelly Elliott‘s The Seaside Chronicals series. Its about Palmer, who doesn‘t really know what to do with her life yet and Mason who‘s a successful doctor and single father to his little boy Charlie.
I really really loved Palmer, Mason and Charlie. Their story was so sweet and fun I couldn‘t put the book down and devoured it. I had a smile on my face most of the book!
Kelly is the queen of small town romances and I loved the suspense we got with who Ms. Seaside is. I can‘t wait for the last book as I‘m still not sure about that ending!
I feel pretty lucky to have received an ARC of this book. It has quickly become one of my favourite series - I can hardly wait for the last book! Mason may have been the new guy in town but Sweet Charlie made the book!! And that ending….I’m not sold on it but really can’t wait to see who Ms. Seaside really is!
Absolutely loving The Seaside Chronicles where we meet in more details Palmer and Mason plus the adorable Charlie.
We've already witnessed Addie and Gannon, Sutton and Brody with Braxton's story next; that's going to be fun.
Mason and Palmer, two crazy in love, but totally in denial, go through a myriad of emotions for will they - wont they ; should they or not!
I loved Palmers relationship with Charlie, they hit it off straight away.
Their road wasn't straight forward with all the ladies wanting to get to know their new Doctor and his son, but we soon learn how Palmer captured his heart almost immediately.
All the wanna be nannies, only using Charlie to get to the doctor. Palmer wasn't sure she wanted to choose how to live in the moment, but a few obsticales namely the ex-wife amd the other women who wanted a piece of him, soon showed her the way.
I loved how the two sets of parents meddled without being totally transapent, not to mention Addie and Sutton's not to subtle hints.
I loved how fiercely protective Palmer was on Charlie, especially when it mattered.
Their love blossomed and we continue to check in with the other residents of Seaside.
Really ooking forward to Braxton's book and see what antics the seaside residents get up to and to aso get to meet the two newest residents.
Great story telling, as always with your interest from the start, keeping you hooked.
Love in a crazy seaside town where everybody knows your business.
5 star review of Lost To You (The Seaside Chronicles #3) by Kelly Elliott
Having read the previous books I was excited to read Lost To You, book three in The Seaside Chronicles. This is Palmer Bradley and single dad Mason Bryan’s story and it was a wonderful addition. As this is an inter connected series, it would be best to read these books in order. Palmer is such an endearing, quirky character and I fell for her in the previous books and this book only cemented my admiration. She is such a hard working woman and when she falls, she falls hard. Having yet another job as nanny to Charlie, Mason’s 5 year old son I just knew she would be the perfect woman for this father and son. I loved Charlie and he was such a little cutie that he almost stole the book out from under Palmer and Mason. I love stories set in small towns and Ms. Elliott is one of my favourite authors in this genre. I loved their journey. Now if only they can keep out of The Seaside Chronicles and it’s gossip. This series is full of love and family and it was wonderful to catch up with everyone. This has quickly become one of my favourite series.
WOW! Kelly Elliott has done it again! I absolutely loved Lost to You, the second book in her The Seaside Chronicles series! I can truly say that Lost to You is an incredible love story, which filled me with a rollercoaster of emotions, it was impossible to put it down. I loved every moment on every page. Kelly Elliott continues to deliver incredibly written love stories that I LOVE to read! I love this incredible second chance at first love story, the Seaside, Maine setting, and the amazing characters, they feel like family! Kelly Elliott definitely does not disappoint her readers with all the feels in Lost to You and has once again delivered an amazing story filled with everything that I have come to love about and expect from her books. Who does not love hot sexy men, strong, passionate females, big loving families, and caring friends, who always support each other? I love how Kelly develops her characters in such a way that you fall in love with them and care about them much like a good friend. I love how Kelly Elliott always manages to create the "perfect" heroine, who is a strong, sassy woman on her own, to balance out the sexy, swoon worthy man. Kelly Elliott continues to deliver all that and so much more. I am not sure how she does it, but Kelly Elliott has once again given her readers another remarkable book. I love that Kelly chooses dialogue that stays true to her characters. Lost to You is filled with all the heartbreaking and heartwarming moments and plot twists, that I have come to love and expect in a Kelly Elliott love story, I especially loved the poignant and bittersweet moments that filled this page turner. Kelly Elliott continues to prove that she is an incredible storyteller. I love that she writes her stories in the first person from the perspective of the main characters. I love getting inside their minds and knowing their thoughts and how they really feel. My favorite moments in Lost to You are the lighter moments where I found myself smiling and laughing out loud. I also love the parts that pull at my heartstrings and cause me to sigh, as I read the heartbreaking moments. Lost to You is filled with such moments and so much more. Lost to You is a love at first sight love story between Palmer Bradley, artist, dog walker, pooper scooper, and volunteer at an animal shelter, the youngest Bradley sibling and Dr. Mason Bryan, new physician in Seaside and single father to five-year-old, Charlie. Palmer’s sister, Addie us the office manager at Mason’s practice and recommended Palmer as a nanny for Charlie. Palmer is not interested in being Charlie’s nanny. Mason purchased a new home for him and Charlie, unbeknownst to Mason, Palmer was renting the guest house on the property. When Mason visits with Palmer, she finally agrees to be Charlie’s nanny, and they agree that it will be a business only relationship. One of my favorite parts of the story is the relationship between Palmer and Charlie, especially how Charlie helps Palmer with her dog walking business. As Palmer and Mason spend time while Palmer is taking care of Charlie together things between them change. Conversation between Mason and Palmer flows so easily, I love the chemistry between them. Palmer admits why she did not go to college and Mason discloses the details of his marriage to Ashley and their subsequent divorce. As Palmer and Mason begin to spend more time together things change between them, and they both admit their true feelings for each other. Feelings that they have felt since the first time they met at the Seaside Grill. My favorite part is how their relationship is fodder for the gossip column in the Seaside Chronicle. Those gossip columns are my favorite parts of the book, the reactions of the characters to the posts, and how the Bradley siblings are trying to figure out the identity of the writer. I love the ways that Mason, Charlie, and Palmer spend time together over the Christmas holidays. I love how Mason unknowingly purchased a painting that Palmer painted and how Palmer uses art to bond with Charlie. An unexpected plot twist puts their relationship in jeopardy. I love the changes that that both Palmer and Mason are willing to make to have a life with one another. I love the changes that Palmer decides to make in her life. I also love the surprise ending of their love story, which included a proposal. I loved Charlie’s role in the proposal. Lost to You was an amazing love story; I am so glad that Palmer and Mason got their happily ever after. I loved all the surprises that filled the pages of this love story. Another favorite part is the epilogue and how it hints to the identity of the next Bradley sibling. I love all the characters in this series, I enjoy all the interactions among the Bradley and Wilson siblings, it feels like real family love and makes me laugh at their teasing and the descriptions of the Seaside in The Seaside Chronicles. Who does not love family and friends that always have each other’s backs? I loved every moment. Highly recommend this beautifully written story.
'Perhaps my favourite Seaside Chronicles novel yet! Kelly Elliott at her best and somehow, getting even better!' -TheBritishBibliophile_
It feels like no time at all has passed since I was thankful enough to read Part of Me , book two in Kelly's Seaside Chronicles series, now here I am reading and obsessing over book three with the formal introduction of Mason and his story with Palmer.
Palmer's story has been a short time coming, and up until now she has been interesting to get to know through the eyes of her sisters, Addie and Sutton, in their respective novels. Palmer, along with Mason and his adorable son, take centre stage as they navigate the waters of Seaside, if you will. Treading as carefully as they can to avoid ending up in the gossip column, written by the anonymous writer who knows everything about everyone. Though, they have yet to be found. Will we find out who this mysterious writer is during the final book in the series? Only time will tell, dear readers.
As outlined in the blurb, we were promised a story of the carefree Bradley sister--Palmer--, the most carefree of the Bradley sisters. Her multiple--and often criticised as 'odd'--jobs keeping her on her toes and always on the go. From pet walker, house sitter, vet receptionist, nanny to pooper scooper, you name it, Palmer has and is doing it all. Her most difficult job to date, perhaps, is the second from last. Nanny. By in no means is the job difficult, but more of a case of whom the job is for, and if Palmer's eye can keep off the hot new doctor to Seaside. Hunter Bryan.
Hunter Bryan is his own kind of special. I like me, you're a long time read of Ms. Elliott, you'll know how she excels in writing single parent romances. Think back to novels of hers such as Lost Love, Never Enough, The Butterfly Effect and now here in Lost to You . I praise Kelly in many areas of her writing, but one of the top things that makes her stand out among the rest is her inclusion of single parents into a story. Hunter and his little boy, Charlie, have soared to the top spot in my single parent and child character list of hers. Yes, I too fell victim to the hot doc, but the sweet, dedicated and charming nature that radiates between this fictional character and his son warmed my heart. This duo together will charm your socks off, even if you aren't even wearing any. Prepare for the Bryan boys!
How lovely it was to see the residents of Seaside again, here in this novel. Where they are not the main focus of the story, this novel like the other two before it, are all interconnected and the collective story for the Seaside residents continues. Hunter and Palmer are this chapter in the story, and what a chapter it was.
I honestly didn't believe that book one, Returning Home could be topped, as it was quite the opening story, but here I find myself having read a book that did just that! From start to finish, this was a journey that I never wanted to come to an end (for now!). I can't dive into anything too detailed as it would ruin the story and spoil things for those who have yet to read it, but what a treat you're in for! You'll soon see why that this my favourite book in the series so far. The tropes do a great job of summing up some of what made this book so great:
✔ Strangers to Lovers ✔ Single Parent ✔ Small Town ✔ Boss/Employee ✔ Friends to Lovers ✔ Nanny ✔ Second Chance
Kelly has provided us with a mix 'n' match of tropes that just work . These tropes lend themselves to some exciting, interesting, emotional, moving and so many more moments that just made me fall in love with Kelly's work as if I were reading my favourite story (Broken) all over again for the first time. Like this series has for its characters, this read is a read that feels like I'm coming home to Kelly and I'm right there with Hunter and Palmer watching the journey to their Happily Ever After.
I don't think I'll ever say it often enough, but I'm going to be forever grateful to Kelly for jumping in and writing a series with such heart, wholesomeness and a whole lot of everything there it to love about her and what makes her writing so one-of-a-kind. As I said in my review for Returning Home , I knew because of what the seaside means to me personally, that this was going to be one of my top Kelly Elliott series'. I had a feeling right from the get go that this was that and so much more, a series to watch and as each book came along it only reconfirmed that gut feeling. Lost to You re-confirms that tenfold.
This read is the prime example of why I'm a reader of almost ten years, and why you, my dear author, are one of my forever favourites.
Congratulations to Kelly for not only producing a masterpiece of a novel, but one that has made it as a personal top read of 2022.
I know the author said you must read the books in order or you’ll get confused but I thought it was fine. This can be read as a stand-alone. You just miss the deeper stuff, the finer details of the other couples but you can get the gist of it.
Now onto the review portion. As this was my first book into the series, I kept getting a sense of déjà vu from Ms. Seaside. Lolol this book felt like the modern day series of Bridgerton. I don’t know if Ms.Kelly was doing an homage to the that series but I can see the similarities. Reading this book I could tell who Ms.Seaside was. I knew it! When they gave us a snippet of the next book in the series, it just confirmed what I already knew. I was for certained it was that person when Brax told Palmer to drop the search of Ms.Seaside after reading her latest news as there was a slip up/revealing moment. Can’t wait for the next book.
I was gonna put 4 stars but the only thing that I hated beside Ashley’s character was that every time we were about to get some progression on their relationship, Palmer had to go and be like we’re just friends ONLY. Urrrgggg. I know this is part of the turmoil of will I take the leap and jump into love or I’m scared I won’t. I just can’t if there’s too much of it. Also, I hated how everyone was talking shit cuz Palmer does a lot of side jobs, which automatically makes her a loser for not having just one. Puuuuhllleaaasee, I commend her. Having all these side hustles and still having the time to be happy? You go girl. Not everyone can find their passion in life right away or know what they want if/when they finish higher learning. Everyone is unique. Every road is different.
Overall, a solid read. Loved Charlie. He is soooo precious and one of the best things about this book. I might go back to the previous two books in the series but for sure I’m gonna read the next book. Can’t wait 😊

Okay the latest book in the Seaside Chronicles by Kelly Elliott is going to just sweep you off your feet in many ways. We have Palmer Bradley, who in every way is like Superwoman because she can do any job you need to do even scooping up a pets poop. Another words she is a wild spirit and nothing can tame this spirit unless you a handsome, sexy new doctor with a cute, sweet funny little boy. Everybody knows in Seasides even her siblings know there is no job that Palmer will say no to but being a nanny to little Charlie is something that actually scares her. The idea of her being responsible for a little boy is too much yet somehow Charlie has a mind of his own and wants her. Working with Dr. Mason Bryan is not just something new for Palmer but the chemistry between them is off the charts. Not only does Kelly Elliott shows us these two different people but we actually see a friendship like no other and first time ever real love for Palmer. Adding Mason's little boy Charlie just makes it all gooey and funny seeing Palmer not in her own world but actually thinking of what this this will mean to him. Seeing Palmer and Charlie is just so cute but seeing her all flustered with Mason now is like watching fireworks explode. All in these two are so in tune with each other yet we still have the mystery of the person behind the towns gossip and it's making everybody antsy to see who is behind all the gossip. Love is definitely in bloom in this little town and Kelly Elliott is bringing all the possibilities to life even to a wild spirit like Palmer. Loved it.
"I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own."
So excited for Palmer and Mason’s story! After getting to know their dynamic in the previous book, between Palmer’s denial and unwillingness to be the nanny for Mason’s son and the mystery behind Mason and his relocation to town, I was excited to dive into their story and get some answers. Thanks to some divine intervention and jealousy, while Palmer initially declines the nanny position, when her house is purchased by none other than Mason, she concedes and ends up taking the job. Mason has relocated to town to give his son a fresh start away from the drama surrounding his marriage and divorce. When he meets Palmer at first, he is drawn to her and takes a chance, but it gives the opposite effect. Thankfully, after months of getting to know Palmer and her finally taking the nanny job, they find the chemistry between them is too much to fight and they take a chance. With some usual drama, misunderstandings, and family’s intervention, these two get the HEA they deserve along with Charlie gaining the mother he always wanted and dreamed of. On the other side of the storyline, I love that Palmer and her brother have taken a stance at finding out who is behind the gossip column and taking it seriously enough to research and even do a stake out – and the cliffhanger in this book from it has me guessing, questioning, and on the edge of my seat waiting for the next book to get all the answers! I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
'Fair winds and following seas - seasiders', once again Ms Elliott has produced yet another enchanting slow burn that I couldn't put down must read, three books into this series and the Seaside Chronicles gets richer in content, romance and swoon and when the couple in Lost to You is the new hot doctor in Seaside who also happens to be a single dad to adorable 5-year-old Charlie and wonderful sweet Palmer you know that once again this author has not only a hit story on her hands but cemented this as a hit series.
From the moment young Charlie asks Palmer to dance my heart was stolen, add in the scene at the art gallery, and the story was an instant 5⭐️ review. Mason needs a Nanny for Palmer, and although at first Palmer turns the job turn she finds herself finally saying yes, that leads to our mystery gossip writer of the Seaside Chronicles having some wonderful stories to share with Seaside, but this is also a really mesmerising romance, single dad Mason never wanted to trust a woman again, while the rest of her siblings have found their career path, Palmer has about five different ones, from dog walking to helping out at art classes, so when the chemistry that was bubbling under the surface finally explodes and her love for Charlie keeps growing Palmer has to finally decide what she really wants, but then when Charlie's mum turns up our quiet little Palmer goes from Mouse to Lioness, and WOW that was a sight to see.
This is the 3rd installment of this series and it needs to be read following the other two books. Are you looking for a swoony single dad who puts his child first, a free spirited woman who is happy with her status quo and a little book who will bait you hook, line and sinker?
Palmer has her eggs in many baskets and she is happy with her life just the way it is. She hasn't decided on one career to move her life forward just yet but she's ok with that too. When approached to add Nanny to her list of many jobs she is completely against it. But that might have more to do with the fact that she thinks Mason is hot and knows herself well enough to know that spending time with them will mean her heart will get involved and she's not looking for that.
Mason has packed up his life and moved to this small town looking to start fresh. Leaving the hurts of a marriage gone bad as far behind as he can. It's taken him a long time but something about Palmer is drawing him in. He has been all about Charlie and his career for so long, he's a little resistant to make those next moves. But he does need a nanny for his son and he wants her.
Will Palmer be convinced to play the Nanny role? Will Mason find a way to get her to open up to him and the possibilities of something that could be wonderful?
And we still don't have clue who is writing the Seaside Cronicle's gossip column.
*** Advanced copy provided in exchange for an honest review. ***
I've loved the Seaside Chronicles series so much and those hysterical Bradley siblings. Palmer is just as funny and sweet as her sisters but has maybe been portrayed as being a bit more of a wanderer. No one seems to understand that while she's a hard worker, her jobs are a bit more varied and less traditional. So, pairing her with a single dad, who also happens to be a doctor, was quite interesting. I thought Hunter would be a little more uptight and rigid, maybe because he's a doctor, maybe because of the single dad status. He's actually not, and I think that endeared him to me even more. He doesn't find Palmer and her "lack of ambition" an issue at all. And the fact that even without childcare experience, she's absolutely wonderful with his son Charlie. That darn lisp of his just gets me! The nanny/boss trope feels much less "taboo" in this book, because literally everyone is pushing them together. Honestly, half the time I forgot she was even the nanny! Because with or without Charlie in the picture, these two just clicked for me. Great chemistry, fun dialogue and a slow but sexy burn built up their relationship perfectly. Don't read this one as a stand-alone...it's definitely more of an interconnected series that is best enjoyed in order. That little underlying mystery looks to be revealed very soon, and I can't wait! Make sure to stick around to read the epilogue, too!
**I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.**
LOST TO YOU is the third installment in The Seaside Chronicles series. It cannot be read as a stand alone it has to be read in the order that the author intended. It has a continuous storyline that will not make sense reading out of order.
Palmer is the youngest sibling of the Bradley family. She's a free spirit not really finding her passion yet having multiple jobs people think are beneath her. When she meets the new doctor in town, Mason, she finds him extremely attractive but when he asks her to be his son Charlie's nanny, she knows she can't take that job. When Mason convinces her that she should take the job she knows it's only a matter of time until she falls in love with him. They both fought their feelings for each other but when Mason's past shows up at his door and Palmer goes out of her way to protect Charlie, Mason knows he's all in.
I loved watching this relationship develop. Charlie was such a big part of the storyline which I loved and he made the book for sure.
I need the Ms. Seaside reveal!! I can't wait for the next installment!
If you haven’t started this series or haven’t read a book by Kelly Elliott, one of my fav authors, what are you waiting for?
I got wave after wave of emotions crashing into me, while reading Palmer, Mason and Charlie’s story!! Mason and his 5yo son, Charlie have chosen the town of Seaside to be the place they make a fresh start. Let’s add in the Mason is the town’s new, hot doctor. He’s looking for a nanny to watch Charlie after school until he’s done for the day with his medical practice. Let’s add in that Addie, Palmer’s sister works for Mason and suggests that he ask Palmer to apply for the position of nanny.
Palmer is a young woman with a big heart and has a lot of odd jobs around town to keep her busy. She turns Mason down when he asks her. And he’s not a man to give up easily. You can feel the chemistry/connection these two characters have from the first time they set eyes on each other. Their relationship develops perfectly; and Charlie is an amazing little boy that you will fall in love with. A lot of events happen in Lost to You and will keep you turning the pages. I loved everything and everyone that played a role in this sweet, hot at times romance!
Highly recommend adding to your TBRs. I cannot wait for Braxton and Harley’s story!
I loved this delightfully irresistible romance! I love a hot single dad story and add in a smart, strong, loving heroine who knows her worth and I am here for it! Palmer is happy with her lowly jobs, despite what others think. It gives her time to immerse herself in her passion for painting. When she meets the new sexy single doctor, Mason Bryan, they have instant chemistry. When he asks her to be his nanny for his adorable little boy, Charlie, she has to say no. But Mason can be very persuasive, and she soon gives in. They try to ignore their growing attraction, but soon give in to their fiery attraction. But when a curveball is thrown, will they have the strength to endure? I loved Palmer and Mason together. Palmer was a fighter, for herself and for those she loved, she was a perfect partner for the sweet, charming, and swoony Mason. I loved their relationship and the family they were building with little Charlie. Their family, friends, who loved to be in each other's business, but were also unconditionally supportive, added so much fun, and warmth to this story as well. I also really enjoy the clever and fun gossip column in the local newspaper, that adds some intrigue. Ava Lucas, and Teddy Hamilton were brilliant as Palmer and Mason, delivering a performance that was completely addictive. They portray each character, including the Mason's young son, Charlie, with a perfect balance between fun & flirty, light drama, and sizzling passion flawlessly. They work well together, conveying so much emotion in their performances. I really loved this fun, sweet, and swoony romance, about family, loyalty, and taking chance on a forever love.
Get ready for more of this town! Palmer and Mason have chemistry, but they also have obstacles. Or, one of them does. Palmer is definitely once bitten, twice shy, and she’s afraid that Mason could shatter her heart without trying. And that’s before factoring in his son. Charlie and Palmer maybe come the best of friends, but Mason definitely wants to be friends and then some with Palmer. He just has to convince her that they’re worth the chance. He also has to navigate murky waters when things go sideways with someone who should’ve remained in his past, but Palmer is strong. And capable. And able to defend her man when he needs it, just as much as Mason can defend his woman when the need arises. So maybe taking the chance is worth it for both of them?
I adored how Mason and Palmer communicated. They don’t shy away from the tough subjects. They don’t run. They actually sort things out before any unnecessary breaks are needed and they left me wishing I had more time with them by the end. But that’s okay. Because the gossip of the town is one step closer to being revealed. Or so I hope. I can’t wait for the next book to find out if my suspicions and the clues are right, or if this author is becoming the master of misdirection amid love and angst!
I love my visits to the wonderful town of Seaside and I love catching up with residents i have met before as well as new arrivals to this magical town. Lost to You is book 3 in The Seaside Chronicles and I believe you should read the previous books to truly enjoy Palmer Bradley and single dad Mason Bryan’s story. Palmer is a Jack of all trades and she has various jobs on the go so when the new doctor in town approaches her to become the nanny for his adorable 5 year old son Charlie , she hesitates but it’s long before she finds herself a with another job because Charlie was too hard to resist and the job offer will also allow her to live rent free in her granny flat because Mason has purchased the property. What follows is a slow burn romance and a wonderful relationship with a little boy who stole my heart. I loved everything about this book, I fell for Mason, I adored Palmer but it was Charlie who at times stole the show with his adorable, cuteness that took this read to another level. I love this inter connected series and I love catching up with the Bradley family but what I look forward to in every book is the gossip in The Seaside Chronicles and Im always left wondering if we will ever find out who is behind the publications. Can’t wait for the next instalment.
Lost to You is the third title in the Seaside Chronicles, and I’d highly recommend reading the titles in order to get the best form this series. I’ve been eagerly awaiting the story of the youngest Bradley sibling Palmer, and this title didn’t disappoint. I loved returning to Seaside, and getting to know more about Palmer, and the new doctor Hunter and his adorable son Charlie. Palmer is an endearing heroine. She’s got a resume that is a tad quirky, and she’s free spirited and carefree, but also capable, strong, caring and compassionate. She’s content to work doing a range of menial jobs that make her happy until she finds a career that will provide fulfilment and passion. Hunter is a single father, and I was intrigued by his choice to move to Seaside, and the secretiveness of his past. He’s sweet, charming and protective and I adored the bond that he shares not only with Charlie, but with Palmer. Their connection and chemistry between this pair is amazing, and I’m adoring this series with it’s strong themes of family, friendship and love. There were also a few snippets of information left as to the identity of a certain gossip columnist and I can’t wait for more to be revealed in the next addition to the series.
