It all started when she learned to read at five. One of her first and favorite memories is of words taped to all the objects in the house. Not long after that, books became the best thing ever and there was no turning back.
She suffered a crisis of confidence in High School and College and decided writing was too difficult, so she earned a degree in Chemistry instead. Three career changes and four children later, she’s back to writing and much happier for it.
Now she works from her home office in New Hampshire amid the books, kids, and occasional pets. Visit her at http://LisaBouchard.com.
This series just keeps getting better! A guest from California comes to assist Isabella’s sorority and the lack of cohesion between members. She is killed and it’s up to Palmer & Isabella to find out what happened and who’s behind the murder. I can’t wait to read the next book!
I love the progress that is happening in the relationships. What a hard situation to be in with the other witches but Isabell's family is still there for her no matter what is happening with others. Things are getting more dangerous all of the time. I have a hard time waiting for the next book.
I am in awe of the way Lisa Bouchard continues to put out such intricate storylines with such amazing characters in a wonderful engaging manner! Well done! Again I recommend this book and the series to 14 and older for the important lessons they offer.
This book was very suspenseful and good!very enjoyable.
Amazon synopsis:'He's snarky, but ever since Jameson became Isabella's familiar, he's had her back. Now it's time for her to return the favor. She promised to rescue his sister from a fraternity stronghold. The only problem is, she'll need help from her sorority.
That's right, the women who hate her. In a desperate attempt to get the witches to work together, Hope asked a highly-regarded witch, Inanna, to train Isabella and her group. Isabella's pretty sure the Geneva Convention was violated in her training but it doesn't matter. Inanna was found dead on the library steps.
The warning is clear, but a promise is a promise. Isabella can't back down, even if she has to go it alone. When a friend is kidnapped in retaliation, can she finally convince everyone to work together?
This baby is loaded, the Fraternity is going all out and the Sorority has to stop them. Palmer is getting acclimated to his new knowledge, and coming to see what dating Isabella, entails.
Isabella, Palmer and the gang have their hands full, with all that goes on in this one, you will read it, in no time. As always Ms. Bouchard, sets a great story, characters and fun within the Mystery.
I wholeheartedly recommend this book to anyone who wants a story with a real live plot (not just the heroine being a weepy, love starved dufus). So happy reading this and all the others of this series.
Honestly when I started this series I was looking for something light to brighten my spirits. I'm going into book seven and I'm so glad I picked up this series. This has picked up my mood and has make me love the many characters. This is a fun read.
