A crazed princess, royal intrigue, relentless assassins, and a merciless army—Lars must overcome all these and even deadlier challenges as he navigates new threats in the brutal cultivation world he had thought he finally understood.
I enjoyed the first two books of the series. By comparison, this one was horrible. It was complete fluff. Virtually no progress and painful to read. The entire book is filled with inane dialogue.
First things first then ending of this book is horrible… it just isn’t plot fluid and ends on some very oversighted issues vs the author being a stickler about other stuff …. First things first … the phrase “only add points to my base stats” is used as a order, sounds good and stuff but what constitutes base stats? Well to me that would be the ones you are born with. So what about a baby who is born without any qi aspects? Seems pretty damn obvious but ohh well lets still let them update qi and skills because yea. but wait next i make this contract with 5 people and right at the end 1 person makes an offhanded comment and only 1 person agrees with the comment not all involved parties, less then 1/2 for you who are following, and contact is magically updated ….. and i can fo on and on about other stuff but yeah author really bad ending … the “world or system logic” is inconsistent and that makes for a bad story.

A wild and crazy tale continues as Lars grows stronger, gathers more allies, naked more enemies and starts to learn about relationships with Ophelia… oh there is still killing, fights between cultivators as well as straight executions and snark. So much snark that if he wasn’t the MC, he’s have been pasts by now lol I’m tearing through these novels and enjoying the development of our overgrown man child 🤣 who is still coming to grips with his incredibly changed world. He is now one of the powerful, able to explore bullying the bullies of the world and with his sharp wit, the Goddess of Death’s knowledge and snark, and some luck, Lars is going to slap the Qi-loving shit out of as many stuck up cultivators as he can, 😂🤣🤣
Death's Favorite Warlock book 3 is, once again, a pretty good story. Very funny, and plenty of action to keep the story moving along. We keep catching glimpses of things happening outside the normal story, but so far, we don't know how they relate to the main storyline, so it will be interesting to see how that works out in future books. Otherwise, the story is one I think many LitRPG fans will enjoy.
While I enjoyed the always amusing banter between our stalwart hero and his companion, this addition to the series feels like more of a confusing side quest than part of the main story (where my favourites are hanging out). That said, this is a good read and I still look forward to where we go next.
OMG! I sooooo love this book! It took me on a super fun adventure rollercoaster ride. In this book, Lars got to do more action, more exploring, and more Ophelia. I seriously want to be like her when I grow up. I simply adore her! 정말 좋아해요~ ^^v
Steve Campbell did splendidly with this one! He nailed all those very challenging words and sentences! Very impressive!
Great book!Iv enjoyed every book this author has put put and this one is no different. The only complaint I have is that the next book ain't out already haha
Great entry to the series. Note comedy and action. Our hero returns to the first city to confront the big bad boogie entity. Growth and experience to be had.
This is a bizarre series, but I can't stop reading it. I will admit it isn't for everyone however , if you are an adult (25+) little fan give it a try.
I didn't like this one as much as books 1 & 2, but I think that had to do with the amount of time between reads (listens) and I didn't refresh my memory. I was thrown of by the rapid power progression in the first few chapters. That said, the second half of this book is just as good as the first two. Decent cliffhanger too. 👍🏾👍🏾
