I was really looking forward to this book, but was a little bit disappointed. I loved the first one with Tripp and Logan, but this one just didn’t shine the same way.
For one, the editing slipped. There were a number of errors I noticed, and usually I can get by without even seeing them if I’m invested into a story. On top of the editing errors, I did wish this story was a bit longer or the magic was still there like the first book? I don’t know. Something just felt off.
The sex scenes were fine, I guess. I did like that Wylie was kind and understanding of Sutton, and their wedding scene was very adorable with the prank and everything.
One thing I sorta didn’t get was the whole, “why I was pranking people” discussion. I mean, I’m definitely glad Wylie apologized and stopped doing harmful things, but that whole situation was weird.
Overall, not my favorite, but it is pretty short.

Shy Guy's Alpha is the second book in the Plentywood Alpha series by A.W. Scott. This book is about Sutton and Wylie. I loved their story. It was sweet, super cute, sexy and very well written.

Sweet with a touch of Sass
Sutton, oh sweet and lonely Sutton, how I want to hold , hug and tell you that you're not alone and that you're loved. Wylie Woods does just that. This two men are each others ying and yang Wylie the joker and prankster, Sutton the series, they actually complete each other and are perfect together.
This is actually a short read by A.W. but it's heart warming none the less. This author can touch your heart in place that you thought you had closed off, you get characters that you can relate to in some way because you get a glimpse of yourself or you know someone that they resemble. I love the Woods family especially the mom, everyone should have a mom and dad like them.
If you're looking for a light heart warming read with a little humor and family element here you go. If you want a HEA here you go.

This is a story about Sutton Harris, a shy, introverted omega, and Wylie Woods, a prankster alpha, who are drawn to each other despite their opposite personalities. Sutton is a loner who is focused on his work and has no time for a personal life. This changes when he meets Wylie, the most extroverted person he has ever encountered. Wylie is known for his easygoing nature and his love of jokes and pranks. However, when he wants to get Sutton's attention, he realizes his usual tactics won't work. To win Sutton over, he must be genuine about his feelings for the first time.
This was a sweet novella where the two opposites must learn to connect on a deeper level. This was an instalove story and so very quick moving. I did find their opposites nature a bit hard to relate to. Easy to read and understand. This was an MM story with mature content set in the omegaverse with MPREG.

Sweet Sutton
I really enjoyed this cute story, it even has a wiener dog! What more is there?!
I will tell you, there is a super shy, hard-working omega, Sutton. There is also a fun-loving, jokester alpha, Wylie. On first glance they shouldn't work that well but Fate knows things and they compliment each other perfectly.
This love was quick just like Logan and Tripp but took a different path to get there. Mom Woods may also be getting her biggest dream of becoming a grandmother soon. Which couple will have the first offspring? Speaking of babies, next up is Oakley. It looks like he may have ran into his own omega at a special place!

Why establish a character just have them completely change for the other MC? There was a frustratingly good exchange late in the book that would have worked if the rest of the book had lived up to it. And the ‘I want to have kids and be a homemaker . . . It was a declaration that seemed off bc we didn’t get to see the character not fit with his jobs and not have a passion for college. It’s all built on not very much, but could have easily been woven into the story to feel more natural. I get that these are quick little instalove books, but I think spending a bit more time strengthening the characters would go a long way.

Shy Guy's Alpha is the second story in the Plentywood Alpha series. Sutton is a shy Omega that lives alone in his deceased parents house, working as a dog walker. Wylie is an Alpha that kind of just goes with the flow. They are so opposite but in actuality they’re perfect for one another. He’s kind of the practical jokester of the family. Seriously loved their story, sooo sweet and fluffy! Overall, a fantastically sweet and fluffy story.

Not my favorite
I’m on the fence with this one. I really liked Sutton, but never warmed up to Wiley. Because he was so self-involved and unaware or uncaring of the havoc he would cause and that no one ever seemed to hold him accountable for his actions, Wiley came across as an unsympathetic character and not someone I was rooting for. However, I am looking forward to Oakley’s story

What can I say about Wylie and Sutton other than they are super cute together. Sutton is shy and kinda standoffish with Wylie at first but that definitely doesn’t last long once he realizes how wonderful he can be and Wylie turns off his prankster personality in order to get to know him. Would love to get to know these characters more in the future. Love this series.

You just can’t help but love the Woods family. Wylie is the prankster of the family, the goofball the one who likes to make everyone laugh. Sutton is used to being invisible. He longs for someone to love him and see him for who he truly is. Seeing the chemistry and understanding unfold in this book was beautiful. Adored it!

The author wasn’t lying when they said this was extremely fluffy- It was and it was exactly what I needed! Sutton and Wylie are so incredibly perfect together and sometimes I just need to read that alpha possessiveness. The A/O works that the author has built is wonderful and honestly it soothes my soul. Lovely story.

The second in the series. Was cute. This one focused on Sutton who doesn’t have anyone else to lean on. He does multiple jobs to make sure that he can afford to live. But then he finds Wylie who takes his time to get to know the sweet shy Omega. Cute read.

Thank you for the ARC read, I voluntarily give this book an honest review. It's such a cute sweet little read filed with the heart all the gooeiness.
Sutton's is wanting his very own alpha, but loses the nerve to venture further then his jobs take him. Wylie the jokester of the Woods family, but jokes a side with one sniff of Sutton. Is Wylie and Sutton going to get their happly ever after or does the alpha miss his chance over miscommunication.

I didn't read the first book in this series but I really enjoyed this one and didn't feel like I missed anything. It was really sweet with a great storyline and wonderful characters.

Interesting as always.
It was a good read. I enjoyed the story line as, I'm not "up" on all of the terms mentioned. A little different love as Sutton's personality is different from Wylie's. It was N enjoyable read.

Sutton and Woods were just the right amount of fluff. Woods found the perfect match who could even join in on his jokes at times and Sutton found someone to love and be there to support him. This was a very nice sweet short story which was just what I needed.
