Air conditioning on high, cold brew in hand - Can you really handle the heat in the Cardinal??
An unusual format (CYOA) that I hadn't encountered before but it was blistering hot fun once I got into it. Think I tried every scenario through every level and confess to being somewhat hot and bothered at book's end. Nope, I'm sure I didn't cover every angle so this will be close by for awhile. Another torrid one from T.J. Dallas.

TJ Dallas really knows how to write erotica. These are hot installments in a 'create your own adventure' style.
But I think, for me, I prefer an overarching story and narrative with interpersonal emotion and connection. So if you're a more plot based reader like I am, I would suggest the original Bartender's Pride Trilogy.

I had a lot of fun reading this book. I like being able to choose different scenarios. I love all the characters of course. The Cardinal is as hot as can be so be careful where you read it. I’ll admit that I’ve not read any of TJ Dallas’ books yet. I’ve been meaning to for a while, it just hasn’t happened. However, I couldn’t pass up a choose-your-own erotic adventure featuring the seven deadly sins.
This was absolutely excellent. I personally really enjoyed that you didn’t need to have read the previous books to read this. The book also flowed really well. There were some times that characters were introduced that I don’t remember meeting in that thread, but that happens sometimes in a book like this. Can’t be perfect. Even with that, this was absolutely amazing!
This book is insanely hot! I’ll be honest, it had some of my favorite erotic scenes with a f/f pairing ever. It was everything I wanted it to be. There was such a great diversity in situations but they were all as steamy as the others.
I have two personal favorites from this book (characters and scenarios). Chapter 9 is one of my favorite scenes topped only by chapter 25. They were both amazing scenes. Out of the characters (reminder I have no other information about these characters) Emilia and Riley are my favorites. Emilia is more my type in her butch gloriousness, but something about Riley makes her my personal favorite.
If you want something hot, please read this! The characters are hot and the scenarios they get you into are absolutely stunning. This book had me in a state and I read it all in the span of maybe an hour. I even went through the chapters in order to make sure I had experienced all of the possible threads. I would do just about anything for more erotic choose-your-own adventure stories, especially ones involving queer pairings.

Welcome to the Cardinal by T.J. Dallas: The book begins by entering a plush sex club in Edinburgh known as the Cardinal and begin making your way through the floors of the seven deadly sins. The book is an erotic journey and there is a story leading the way. Romance can be found inside as well. If you are looking for a hot read this would be it. 4 stars without a doubt. you will enjoy reading Welcome to the Cardinal. I now move back in time to begin the entire story of The Cardinal starting with "The Bartender’s Pride: Pride Trilogy, Book 1"

What a fun read! This book stars our favorite characters from The Pride Trilogy in a choose your own adventure format. I haven’t read a CYOA book since I was a kid and it was so much fun reading one as erotica. Let’s say you meet a striking blonde. Do you take charge or do you let her take the lead? After a little fun, do you take a nap, head for a snack, or maybe grab a drink at the club? There are so many choices and none disappoint! This format worked great with my kindle and jumped to the appropriate chapters when selecting a path.
This book is starring YOU as you are invited to the Cardinal for the first time where a sexy character is waiting around every turn to show you what the Cardinal has to offer. For those who haven’t read any of TJ Dallas’s books, the Cardinal is a building hosting a variety of businesses/clubs run by the female embodiments of the seven deadly sins (who are all queer, hot, and sexually insatiable). While I love The Pride Trilogy books and knowing the characters makes me appreciate this book even more, it’s not necessary! This book can be read as a stand alone if you like lesbian/queer erotica and want a quick read or are considering reading the trilogy. I've read through multiple paths and still don't think I’ve gotten through every possibility. Can’t wait to see what other adventures there are in this book!
As another reviewer mentioned, at least once my character was reminiscing about a person I hadn’t met in that read through. While this was just a small hiccup, it made me want to go through again and find those scenes :P

The reader visits the various floors of The Cardinal and experiences some very sexy encounters.

Holy Moly! ( sorry, but I feel a little hot right now;)
This is a true TJ Dallas HOT - HOTTER - THE HOTTEST CYOA🔥
What makes it so, great apart from having immense shares of extremely hot scenes, is that you don't need to know or have read anything about the other books or the backstory to the 7 Deadly Sins.
They are all introduced beautifully and their characters portrayed perfectly.
There are also new, exciting and extremely hot characters.
Andi for example is such a sweet soft butch and absolutely perfect for... you :) but also the sexy butch security guard!
To be fair, everyone is insanely hot.
But all the adventures in this absolutely interactive book are worth reading and make you want more!
I couldn't wait to choose the next chapter for myself or just go back and relive the adventure!!
This is going to be a book that I will read again and again…

TJ Dallas really came through with her latest release, WELCOME TO THE CARDINAL. Your story starts off in a sex club, based in Edinburgh, Scotland. It becomes apparent very early on that there is more to this place than meets the eye. For starters, it’s a seven story building with a casino, a restaurant, a night club, and even a gym! The possibilities are endless. Well, not entirely endless — there are twenty sapphic encounters housed in these pages!
This steamy choose you own adventure was as playful as it was engaging. There were a few points that made me laugh out loud. This was my introduction to the world that Dallas created for her Seven Deadly Sin series, and it certainly made me keen to dive into the rest of her work!
If you’re looking for something playful, and more than a bit spicy, I cannot recommend this book enough!

I am a big fan of Dallas's Cardinal Series! I love the Sins and all of the sexual adventures they get involved in. I have never read a choose your own adventure book before, but I greatly enjoyed this read. A large part of enjoyment came from knowing the characters and the excitement of spending more time with them. There are no spoilers from the series, and while this could be a fun intro into the characters I think this would be most enjoyed by fans of the series. Now if only we could get another one with the additional new characters, The Four Horsewomen!

What can I say but a fun page turner. I was a fan of this world but this book takes it up a notch. You are literally immersed in the world what happens next is yours to command. Are you feeling dominant, then you take the lead. The scenarios presented & the sins are yours to experience, in all their glory. The scenes are hot as you would expect nothing less from this author. I had to revisit a few just to take it in again, especially the bouncer. I advise you to get this book in your hands immediately & enjoy the cardinal in your own special way.

This is my first book by TJ Dallas and OMG it was hot. This is a erotica.

If you have a BP cuff, an SpO2 monitor, some tech on your wrist to watch your heart rate-- I highly suggest it as this book is gonna give you heart palpitations and you have no one to blame but yourself... and the writer:) If you haven't read the 5 books introducing these beautiful Cardinal Sins, that's ok, because at the end of this "choose your own adventure", you are gonna choose to go read every... single.... book til you've had more than your fill of these beautiful and handsome women. I'm a nerd and kept track of every chapter I clicked as to ensure I got to explore every twist and turn 🤓 You will have to start over a few times, but that wasn't a big deal- who wouldn't want to chat with Althea again? Lemme tell ya, my cheeks were pink, my ears were red, and it made me laugh because only Dallas can make you feel uncomfortably full, delightfully titillated, pridefully greedy, and comfy cozy in bed with these characters as it is YOU running amuck in the building. If you have read the previous 5 books- well, here's to living out fantasies ya didn't even know you had til you clicked the next chapter. Phew! Hand me a firehouse. Time to extinguish the flames.

So let me start by saying that this was originally my introduction to TJ's writing when she had a few chapters up on her site. I fell in love with the characters then and I'm even more in love now.
I really enjoyed going through all of the scenarios and finding little Easter eggs from the series. That being said, you can definitely read this without having read any of the previous novels. No matter which scenario you choose it flows seamlessly through the scenes. I even like how some options were just silly and there's even a U-haul joke stuck in there. Needless to say this book is HOT! It will leave you panting and begging for more. Each character you meet is true to their nature and makes you want to learn more about them. If you're on the fence about getting this book. DO IT! you won't regret it.
As an aside, I would like to express my appreciation for TJ making a point of everyone having safe and consensual sex in her books. Even if it's a questioning look with a nod of approval or making a point of cleaning toys. It makes me feel comfortable and less anxious so I can enjoy what I'm reading.

This is a Choose Your Own Adventure book. Remember those from when you were a child? You came to the end of a chapter and there were choices as to what happened next. This modern version is even better - read it on kindle and you just click as to which option you want and it delivers you there. And of course this book is erotica so it is a decidedly adult version. Although for erotica is seemed a bit tame - or perhaps I read too much?!

The concept of this book is outstanding. I love the world Dallas has created and to get to choose where you want to explore within the Cardinal is terrific. Choosing what floor/venue you want to explore gives you an opportunity to create different story arcs for you to explore so your time at the Cardinal can be new again at your next visit. Getting to step into the story and meeting each of the ladies “personally” is a great adventure among 7 floors (and 7 sins of course). Get ready to enjoy your stay!

TJ Dallas has discovered a hot new way to tell a story. Creating my own adventure at the Cardinal made the story even hotter. I have read other books from Ms. Dallas, so I am familiar with the characters from the Cardinal, but that familiarity was not needed to enjoy the story, it only added to the anticipation. I will reccomend this book to anyone interested in reading. .

TJ does it again! This is a journey through all 7 floors of The Cardinal and the 7 beautiful sins. In this you get to write your own story using different scenarios. It is so erotic thinking about yourself meeting the managers. If only it really existed. This is an exciting book.Definitely 5 stars! I was given an ARC of the book for an honest review.

You know what you are going to get from TJ Dallas, erotica and it’s hot and fair warning this is not to be read in public. I really enjoyed the concept of choosing your own erotic adventure. Top or bottom who cares you can just try each scenario.

If you loved The Bartender’s Pride Trilogy, this is a MUST READ. It’s not just a “choose your own adventure”. It’s like deleted scenes from the books. You get more tales of sexy adventures and learn more about the characters that you love. This is a book I will definitely read again and again. Thank you, TJ Dallas, for giving us more of these delicious women!

This was an absolute roller coaster of a ride and I loved every second of it. I would honestly read individual books about each of the 7 Sins just because they’re that good (especially Emilia and Harry 😮💨).
