Leaning towards 3.75 stars
I went into this book thinking it was going to be more....I read this author's collection of novellas "Scarred" and absolutely loved it. This book had promise but was slow for this reader. And really just wanted more, sorry but that's how I feel.

I’m not usually one to leave a bad review but...this book was just not on it for me. I skipped the last little bit just to find out what happened and get it over with. The book was all over place. There was a lack of details that I think should have been there to help this book. I read it because the reviews were pretty good but I just didn’t enjoy it at all.

A great job by Kylie Walker with a series to rock your world. For Emelia to go on tour with an up and coming rock band is a dream come true and to have her high school crush Trevor as the lead singer of that band is unthinkable. Trevor is not interested in the whole partying, one might stand with groupies persona that goes with his rocking lifestyle. He remembers where he came from and what it's taken to get there but he feels he doesn't deserve it. Living with a secret that weighs in his soul and could destroy him is a daily battle. When he lays eyes on Emelia all these years later brings forth a wanting so deep but she is already taken and he won't go there. When Emelia's slimeball of a boyfriend shows his true colors Trevor is there to help her and their chemistry grows to blinding. What happens when Trevor confesses his secret to Emelia that intertwines with the tragedy she suffered years ago. Will she give Trevor another chance or its the hurt to much to bare??? A positive spin on the life of a rocker with a chance at true happiness and giving back to help those in need. Trevor and Emelia make a wonderful couple and I can't wait to see what Kylie has in store for the bffs Roman and Chloe!!! As a huge fan of Ms. Walker's, I seriously do not think that there is anything she cannot do. Ms. Kylie Walker publishes only top quality books for all of us romance junkies out there to devour. Hearts Collide is the beginning of the new series that will draw you in from the very first page and keep you completely enthralled throughout. Emelia is downright crushed when she discovers what a POS her boyfriend turns out to be. Luckily, she's on tour with an up and coming rock band and she has Trevor to lean on. Trevor might be the lead singer but to Emelia, he has always been more. The World sees him as the bad boy/front man, however, Emelia has a way of seeing the real him and he is beautiful inside and out (or is he). Trevor has a secret, as most do, but can he share it with Emelia and still have her? As their chemistry grows, so does his guilt. Heartbreakingly beautiful publication. I am now not only fan girling but impatiently awaiting the next release.

OMG! Ahhh. Man, talk about dodging a bullet. This is such a sweet and sincere read that captures your heart while captivating your attention from start to finish. Kylie totally nailed this little jewel 100% on point. Finally seeing things she was totally ignorant until now and it blows her mind at how close she came. A whirlwind of emotions and events that pulls those heartstrings as it draws you in deeper. All the drama, heartache, uncertainty, intrigue and a little suspense make for one thrilling experience. An amazing storyline and strong plot bring this read roaring to life brilliantly. Twists and turns abound with unexpected circumstances that pulls this little treasure together flawlessly. The characters are complex and believable with such depth and individuality it's easy to relate. The scenes are so graphically detailed and descriptive you have no trouble picturing each scenario as they play off one another perfectly. Remarkable job Kylie, thanks for sharing this little jewel with us.

This is such a fantastic story and it’s my favourite genre Rockstars or anything to do with music. Trevor was with the band celebrating going on a major U.S tour finally the guys were making it and this tour will make the guys very big and help their record sales. Trevor just sits there with the boys he’s not drinking because his memories of the bad time keep coming to the surface. Emelia was going out with Grant he has the contract to work with Infinity Prism her favourite band plus she knew Trevor in high school so she was excited to see him again but she wondered if he would recognise her, then she thought probably not. That’s all I’m going to give you guys but there is so much more to this story it is an amazing read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

Emelia is thrilled when she finds out her boyfriend is getting the sound contract to Infinity Prism's world tour; she's been their biggest fan since high school! Front man Trevor was a couple grades ahead of her in school but they weren't friends. I love the way Walker switches POV between the two and slowly reveals the past and the present in each of their lives. I especially fell for Trevor: his hard life with learning disabilities and surviving the foster system, his friendship with Roman, and the fact that he was more aware of Emelia in HS than she dreamed, refering to her as 'dumpling'. The story of Emelia separating from her current boyfriend and Trevor's secret of why he feels so unworthy of her make for a thrilling read! I recommend this book.

Emilia liked Trevor when they were in school together but he was older and she wasn't in his league. Now Trevor is a famous rock star when they reconnect again. However she has a boyfriend even if he is intolerable. Sparks fly between her and Trevor but he doesn't feel like he is good for anyone let alone Emilia. People start gossiping about them causing some problems. Will they find a way to be together despite the odds against them?
This is a great story once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Emelia works at a sound production company who was called upon to go on tour with the group Infinity Prism, and she’s always had a crush on Trevor for years. Trevor knows she’s familiar but couldn’t place her at first, and then he remembers. A night when the accident happens that still haunts him. These two grow close and Trevor wants Emelia for himself but he has to tell her the truth. Will he lose her forever or will she forgive him is his question. I loved the book, it was sexy, a lot going on, couldn’t put it down, and it held my interest. ❤️❤️

**I received this ARC in exchange for an honest voluntary review** This rockstar romance was not at all what I was expecting. Love triangle going on & while the plot does have some traction, it just didn't rise to the occasion. Could use more editing, way too many plot holes/ jumps, when they were texting you couldn't tell the difference in the typing, Emelia's ex makes a big deal about getting revenge yet it's so anticlimactic & is never even proven that it was him. On the sweet side with a touch of a slow burn bc you don't see any actual sexy time until 3/4 of the way in! And even then, it wasn't fully executed. Just disappointed & most likely will not continue this series.

Don't read this one out in public! The story takes you on an emotional roller coaster ride. The plot was awesome. I was hooked from the very beginning and couldn't put it down once I starting reading. The story-line flowed smoothly throughout. The characters were well-developed and easily relatable. Certainly filled with twist and turns that I thought I had figured out. Boy was I wrong!!! I found myself fighting back tears several times. I loved this one so much that I ended up buying the book. I can't wait for Book 2 in this series!!!

This is my first book by this author. It will not be my last. I loved it! Start to finish I was hooked. Hearts Collide is a sweet love story about Trevor, the rock star and Emelia, a girl he had a past with in high school. Emelia has her own issues with her current SO. Will their friendship be just that? Will the truth about the past keep them apart? Can love conquer all? Pick up your copy to find out. So worth it! A highly recommended read! I am voluntarily leaving my review after reading an advance reader copy of the book. I can't wait for more from this author!

An easy, enjoyable read
Kylie Walker is a new author to me and I read this book on a recommendation. Trevor & Emelia’s Story was complicated at first, especially with Grant in the mix & Trevor being a rock star and pretending he didn’t remember Emelia from school. Love that it had a HEA. A bit disappointed with the way Grant was dealt with. I felt he deserved more than he got. I’m now going to read book 2, which is about Chloe & Roman. Emelia & Trevors besties.

His book is swoon worthy. Wow love when you least expect it.. full stop! That is the epitome of this amazing seeet and sexy story between Emilia and Trevor. There are no surprises here. No crazy twists. But it’s written so sweetly, you can’t help but get that sugar dose high. I received this book for a voluntary, completely honest and non incentivized review.

Though it took a little time to get into it, once I did I really liked this. It's got elements of a second chance romance, a friends to lovers romance and taking a chance on love. Great story, great characters, great read.

Too many gaos
Too many inconsistencies. I didn't understand Trevor and Em's relationship. At the beginning of the book Trevor said their were 6 people in Em's family but the only people later were her two brothers. Where were the parents?

I really loved this book. Read it in one sitting. Trevor and Emelia found their true HEA after alot of angst and turmoil. Cannot wait for the next book. Kylie Walker has another great hit!

Fun book to read. I hated her ex he was such a grand ass. I felt sorry for the guilt he was carrying for so many years. Glad it all worked out.
