Ongoing adventures
I started with the Vella format because I didn't know the author and wanted to explore serialization. I needn't have worried about Ms. Walker, as she delivers an entertaining and atmospheric read with plenty of action. It would be quite easy to picture this as a weekly television series.
All of the threads are weaving together but new tangents keep popping into view, no doubt to be folded in as the story progresses.
I have already purchased "seasons" 5 and 6 and look forward to diving in. Well, genteelly stepping in with my frock coat unbuttoned.

Interesting story
I'm not a fan of serialized short stories, but this intriguing tale has kept my interest. I like the strong female characters and the many plot twists. Just wish the story would conclude, soon, because I'm tired of waiting to find out what happens!

Loving this Series
What fun from a writer I enjoyed with her two Chronos series. The serial format is interesting, too! Bring on the next one!
