Harper's Renegades
**This is a Stand Alone that pairs with the Hidden Empire Series storyline. Can be read alone but if read after Four Tricks it will give you more background.
You know, I thought my life was pretty normal. I was working towards my dream of being a fashion designer, even got my own shop. My best friend Dax and I met in college as roommates and became soul sisters for life. Even her platonic male best friend Weston and I were close, like the big brother I liked to flirt with. All typical, all normal, all what you would expect in your life as a thirty year old… until it wasn’t.
Trust me when I tell you I’m not being overdramatic when I say my life changed at gunpoint. Well, if you want me to get real specific, it was being held hostage in my own house at gunpoint by a biker gang! Is that normal to you?
Come to find out that my best friend, soul sister, woman who knows everything about me was keeping a hell of a lot of secrets from me. Such as being a major player in the criminal world of LA. Seems she pissed some people off and they came after me to get to her. Now my life is in shambles and everything is ripped away from me in one fell swoop.
I haven’t even gotten to the best part yet! My girl Dax decides the best way to keep me safe is to ship me off with three assassins. You heard that right, assassins! Triplets to be exact, carbon copies with bodies that would make Greek gods weep. Oh, and apparently, they’ve decided that I’m going to be their woman, that we were made for each other.
They talk me into giving them a chance, not that I have much choice since they won’t tell me where they smuggled me off to. My mind resists while my body has quite the opposite reaction to these men and the promises they make. Can I trust them to protect not only my life but my heart too? If I let them try will I really be able to walk away after?

DNF 1 star.
Suspension of disbelief is not enough! I could feel my blood pressure rising as I read this book. The FMC made all sorts of excuses for the MMCs behavior. I imagine that’s how police officers feel when they continuously receive calls reporting abuse to the same address & knowing the victim will make excuses refuse to press charges. Rinse & repeat. This book made me so angry 😡. It’s filled with triggers & I just don’t have the emotional capacity right now to list them individually. I will provide 3 major examples & will quickly erase this shit stain of a book from my memory.
➡️ Imagine very briefly interacting with a stranger at a party on a dance floor while buzzed resulting in 3 years worth of full on stalking. No foundation at all bc they’ve never met. From 0 to 💯.
➡️ Invading her privacy. Ex1: Cloning her cellphone. Ex2: Watching her indoor/outdoor security footage.
➡️ Removing &/or restricting the FMC ability to advocate for herself & her body. What do I mean by that? EX1: FMC explains she has issues with food & the MMCs decide they’ll take control of her food intake going forward. The portion, the type of food, the frequency of her eating & physically feeding her like a baby. That’s the quickest way to speed her towards full on eating disorder. Ex2: Manipulating her OBGYN appointment to insert a GPS tracker under her skin.
Ex3: Using peer pressure to manipulate her into taking risks outside her comfort level before she’s ready to do so. I cannot abide by this level of control. Full 🛑. I’d need a lack of logic & self respect to enjoy this book.

Ever wonder what Dax's best friend, Harper, got up to while Dax was dealing with the upheaval in the criminal world? Well, Harper's Renegades is finally here while it's the fourth book in the series it runs parallel with the events in the third book of the Hidden Empire series only its Harper's adventure with the Wright brothers and it was fabulous.
Harper is totally different from Dax, she's softer and more sensitive than Dax is. She isn't a criminal, violence isn't her go-to, she's more the cuddly type than the stabby type but she is finding her place in the criminal world with the help of the Wright brothers. With them by Harper's side, she's coming out of her shell, taking more risks, and living life more. In so many ways they have helped Harper grow by pushing her out of her comfort zone by having new experiences. Harper is a little more feisty with the guys than I expected her to be she's not a pushover and is making the work to earn her trust.
The Wright brothers are pure chaos. Magnus is the alpha type, Jaxon is a caregiver, and Casper aka Ghost is the playful one. The guys live life to the fullest, on their own terms. They take risks and go on adventures, and while they are good at being assassins they know how to really live. The guys are a little broken due to a traumatic past but Harper is their light and she manages to handle all their crazy and it's a lot. However, the guys love Harper with all their heart, body, and soul, willing to do anything for her. Their feeling is deep and the way they explain their feelings for Harper while intense and domineering, it's also a very playful relationship and I freaking loved it.
Liz has written a great plot. The story takes place in a few countries and the descriptions are fantastic. There are beautiful homes, fancy restaurants, lush locations, and European nightclubs are just a few of the places. There were fun group dates with some interesting activities, plus the sex scenes were blazing. What started off as a kidnapping/sexy vacation turned into one big adventure with fast cars, big guns, a couple of crime bosses, and a few daring escapes. It was part dating, part vacation, part job, Wright brothers style. This book really did give off action move vibes, it was great.
Harper's Renegades was freaking awesome, liked getting to know Dax's best friend better but loved getting to know the Wright brothers even better. With the triplets in Harper's life, the crazy has only just begun.

I had to turn the logic section of my brain off for this one, but I already knew that going in after reading the previous hidden empire books. The level of stalking the triplets inflicted upon poor Harper would not be something my grudge-holding @$$ would be able to move beyond and forgive.
That being said - when I shove that whole issue from my mind - I enjoyed the story overall. It was nice to get to know Harper more and Ghost was definitely my favorite triplet.

I love Harper and her three crazy psycho assassins! This book was wild fun! After meeting Harper and the Wright brothers in the Hidden Empire series, it was so great to get to see and focus on their story. I’d like to say poor Harper for getting thrown into the mess that is the criminal underground, but man is she one lucky woman! They might be crazy, but Magnus, Jaxson and Ghost treat Harper like a Queen and it is a sight to see. Their story was nothing short of a crazy, wild ride. But, they did it together with their own crazy flourish and I loved every second of it! Seeing them get to know one another, adapt to having new people in their lives, and fall in love was was wonderful. Despite their various upbringings and lives before one another, something about coming together just made everything click into place.

I have been waiting for this book to be written ever since first reading about Two Tricks and Harper. So when the Hidden Empire goes to war with the cartel, Dax needs Harper to be safe, the Wright Brothers come to the rescue. Magnus, Jax and Ghost are the most feared assassin’s for hire and they have their sites set on Harper. What Harper doesn’t know is that the three of them are completely obsessed with her and have been for the last three years since the first time they saw her with Dax. They will take her out of her comfortable zone and completely upheave her life, but they treat her like a queen she is.

This adventure helps us get to know Harper and her triplet assassins! This was a great addition! I lived learning more about Harper since she is a pivotal part of Dax's life. The triplets were also a treat! Fantastic read and fantastic addition to this series!

Ok
I had a really hard time jumping from book 3, where Dax was the main character, into this book (4), where Harper is the main character. Now, I don't want to seem completely critical, but Harper is no Dax. Harper is weak, scared, and kind of irritating. I just don't get women who allow men to control every aspect of their lives and consider it romantic. It's ridiculous. Fine, be a sub in the bedroom. But for pity sake, stop letting men control you! Harper gets taken by these 3 guys at Wes and Dax's request. The guys had been secretly in love with her for years. They had stalked her, unbeknownst to her. But what made me sick about that was that they had installed cameras in her house. They had a doctor implant a tracking device when she was getting birth control put in. I'm sorry, but that is NOT romantic no matter how dangerous Harper's life could be by having Dax as a best friend. So, when Harper finds out they did that, she's upset. But then the next day everything is ok because she understands why they did it and she's glad they care. That was the last straw for me. She basically is in Insta love with them and allows them to dominate everything she does, eats, and wears. Yes, there are a couple of times she goes off on Magnus. But for the most part she is their "doll" to do with what they choose...because, of course, the men always know what is best for their little woman! (Insert eye roll here)
I was really disappointed in this book. I did want to know Harper's story. I figured there would be a spin-off series after Dax's story was over. I didn't expect to read Harper's story in the middle of Dax's saga. However, if this is Harper's story then it's really disappointing. I honestly don't see how someone that weak is Dax's best friend. Everything about her made me cringe.
Anyway, I'm glad it's over and we can, hopefully, move on to a stronger MC. Why 3 assassins fell in love with her is beyond me. ...

Not a fan of this book at all. Which is upsetting since I loved the first 3! MFC is kidnapped, drugged, and taken out of the country on the premise it's for her own good. She wakes up naked with a strange man touching her. NONE of this is ok, but that's just the beginning of the crazy. Why is she not freaking out? I would be losing my mind and striking out, so Im disgusted by this. What sane woman wakes up after being drugged and not freaking out??? Then they demand she accept everything or nothing, pass! Oh, and we are going to micro-manage everything in your life, PASS!!! Disappointed, and did not finish.

Ever since being introduced to Harper and the Wright brothers in Dax's books in the Hidden Empire series, I've been dying to see what has been going on behind the scenes after the Wright triplets had Harper in their care to keep her safe. I have to say that I absolutely loved them in this book! I wasn't quite sure how it all was going to go over with them, but I found them to be so amazing for Harper. At first glance Harper seemed to have the whole world at her fingertips as well as a successful career that she adored. With so many people surrounding her, it was hard to see how truly lonely she had been. Magnus, Jaxon, and Ghost, the stalkers that they are, saw her more clearly than anyone who had been around her face to face ever could. It was so nice to see all the little things they had paid attention to while watching her, things that most people wouldn't remember to do for her or remember that she liked. Despite the way they went about gaining all that information about her, it was really sweet. Not only did they care for her in any possible way they could, they also gave her the opportunity to experience life in a brand new way. They pushed her out of her comfort zone for sure, but the results they got granted Harper a new life where she could enjoy her life to the fullest, learn new things, and be completely loved whilst doing it all.

Absolutely Incredible
Oh my goodness! I knew and hoped that we would have Harpers story and Elizabeth Knight once again does not disappoint. From this incredible author we learn more about Harper and the wright brothers from Two tricks.
Two tricks is amazing it’s the kind of story that keeps you wanting more and thinking about the story months after you read the book. The excitement from being able to learn more about Harper is at an all time high!!!
And boy does it not disappoint. Besides the relationship Harper has with her sexy sniper stalkers we learn more about the threats to her and Dax and the crossover and events that take place in Harpers story from the previous Two Tricks stories.
Harper has been kept in the dark and when the stuff hits the fan she is whisked away by the brothers to keep her safe and protected. Here we learn about how they have watched over her for years and the possessiveness and love they have.
I absolutely adored the story but at this point I’m unsurprised given how much talent Elizabeth Knight has in world building these unique stories.
Dax has to be my all time favourite FMC but I love Harper too! I seriously cannot wait to read more and if you haven’t read Two Tricks do it asap, you won’t be disappointed!

I was so happy to see we got Harper's story and what happened to her when everything was going down with Dax. The Wright Brothers, Magnus, Jaxon and Casper were all perfect for her and added a little fun and steam to her story.
This book can be read as a standalone, although reading the rest of the Hidden Empire series will give you a lot more context to what is happening and why.

I’ve been so excited waiting for the triplets book, having such high expectations since the start of the two tricks series - I really hoped this one wasn’t just going to be some fluffy side piece!
The book starts around the time that Dax gets shot after coming out as two tricks and sees Harper struggle to get to grips with the new direction her life seems to be taking.
The triplets are overjoyed that they finally have Harper and are willing to do whatever they need to to keep her safe and win her over.
The book is filled with colourful side characters, thrilling little adventures and lots of steamy goodness to keep you warm and cozy.
It’s a great read and you’ll definitely love it if you’re into the series. Another winner from Ms Knight

This is a little different to the previous”Hidden Empire” books in that it doesn’t feature Dax and her guys. The story follows her best friend Harper who we have met briefly in the previous books. In the last book we left Dax in trouble and Harper being handed off to the triplets to protect.
Loved this book, who wouldn’t want their own set of gorgeous hot guys who are obsessed with you. This book had lots of spice and l’m feeling very envious of Harper. Like all of the books in the series it was well written and the characters and world building convincing. I love the fact that this series is different from most RH ones and always keeps you guessing. Another compelling read from Elizabeth, can’t wait for the next instalment

Let me start this by saying that I wasn't sure Harper was going to give me the strongness I was hopeing for, especially after knowing Dad and who she is....man was I wrong!
Harper is her own woman that has not only a backbone of steel but also a mouth on her. I loved it! I loved everything about Harper and all of her sassyness that just proves to me why Dax is her bestie.
Now for the men...well I mean I feel in love with them from the jump. Trips....Check, Assassins...Check, Psycho...Check! They ticked all of my yummy boxes and were all so deliciously unique.
If you are on the fence or worried that you won't like her cuz Dax is so extra, Don't! Trust Elizabeth and her captivating writing. You won't regret it!

Omg this book was awesome! I loved Harper as Dax’s best friend, but seeing her on her own and getting to know her was great! And the triplets!!!! Omg Magnus, Jax, and Ghost are hot!!! I love how each of the are very different from each other. You have Magnus the sexy control freak, Jaxon the caretaker, and Ghost the comedic relief. I loved getting to know these characters. I will say these three assassins are crazy and Harper takes it very very well that they have essentially been stalking her for quite a while. I loved seeing their love bloom, the steamy scenes, the action, and seeing Harper really come into herself in the new crazy world she has been thrust into. I hope to see more of these four! I definitely recommend this book!

The guys did it for me- hence the 3 stars. Harper was so ugh. She whined, pouted and whined some more the entire f’ing book. The amount of time spent on the various verbs used to describe her bottom lip was asinine. There are so many ways you can mention “pouting and sticking out your bottom lip like a fucking spoiled toddler”. How TF Dax was BFF with her I’ll never understand. She had some good moments but most the book was her bitching and throwing a tantrum.

Jaxon- wow did not see that side of him from Dax’s story line. Love a man willing to pamper the queen

Loved this book so much. You don't need to read the previous book per se as this is a standalone evolving around different caracters but this is in the same time frame fyou know what I mean. I particularly liked the fact that there's some European locations in this book. Can't say I know all of them but still that made it feel so real as this could totally happen. Harper is fantastic as are her assassins even though they are psycho. I love the psycho man anyway and these were freaking amazing. The story is well written, the action good and I'm ready for more.

PHENOMENAL!!!! Omg I seriously could not put this down! It hooked you from the very beginning and you can't help to laugh at all the situations and things the triplets come up with. Harper really shines and shows she is meant to be in this world that she was thrust upon and I can not wait to see what happens in More Tricks and find all the answers to things that were mentioned in this book. This whole world is so amazing and they are all inspiring and admirable in their own way. Love getting lost in this series and can't wait for more! Highly recommend this entire series!

I loved Harper and her guys! Harper's Renegades picked up from when Dax, Harper and Tilly were attacked at the beach. Magnus, Jax and Ghost swept in and got Harper out of the situation and this is where this book picks up. I was definitely curious what was going on with Harper and the triplets when I was reading Four Tricks, she was apparently getting really close and personal with them. This book was full of action, spice and romance. I loved this look at the larger Hidden Empire universe and I cannot wait to see glimpses of Harper and her guys in the next two books.

Harper definitely earned this happy ending. She's been right along side Dax and her adventures from the very beginning even if she wasn't aware of the danger that surrounded her best friend all along.
She finds herself in the middle of three men who have decided that she's the only one worth living for. It's a wonderful adventure between the four of them as their find the spot that they each fit together.
If you've read the Two Tricks series this is one to not miss.

FYI! You do not need to read this book, before continuing the series. This is Harper's story between her and her dashing triplets! You do however, get a good background picture that I'm sure, will make more sense in the following books! Wahhhh...Harper's men are amazing and sexy as sin!!! I can't wait to hear more of what happens with the granddaughter! Hopefully, she's brought in at some point. She's like a mini Dax haha! I want Dax men to meet her😆😆 great book! Now off to read the next!!

So we know from Hidden Kingdom that the guys have been waiting for their time to make Harper theirs. They’ve had their eye on her for 3 years and now it’s finally time to make her theirs! Harper is not necessarily immediately smitten cause ya know… stalking and such. BUT the guys are so sweet and very genuine in their feelings for Harper. They really are so very romantic!! I was pleasantly surprised by that. I loved this book and getting to see Harper happy!

This is the fourth book in the Hidden Empire Series and gives us a look at Harper and the Wright Brothers. I have been super excited for this story since the beginning of the series, and let me just say, there was no disappointment to be had! This story is incredible! I loved the characters, the storyline, and everything in between!
If you ask me, this is an absolute Must Read book and series and I cannot wait for more!

All I needed to know is 3 assassins who are identical and the same characters from Two Tricks. This book has yumminess, steaminess, and bad guys doing what bad guys do. Harpers men are not gonna put up with anyone messing with their woman though and even though it took me a minute to get past them being stalkers for a couple of years I still loved this book. If you loved Two Tricks, Three Tricks and Four Tricks you will love getting to know her bestie Harper and her lovable psychos

I have been really enjoying reading Dax’s story, and while this one was not as much my cup of tea, it is still really good. I had a bit of an issue with how quickly the brothers took over Harper’s life and bulldozed all of her boundaries, which I knew was coming because I read this books that take place before this. Even with my issues I still think this is worth the read and definitely adds to the main storyline, I can’t wait for more Dax!!!!
