RESCUE MISSION

Yuuhi and the rest of the Beowolf trainees have successfully infiltrated a military-controlled prison compound in Inner Mongolia on a mission to free Queen Mina and her bodyguard Akira. But when our young rescuers discover Akira’s childhood friend Yuki and Mina’s doppelganger Katie Morris are also being held captive along with scores of human prisoners, their simple rescue mission becomes a whole lot bigger than they ever imagined. And with 30,000 vampires and two terrifying were-beasts standing between our heroes and freedom, it’s a mission that could go pear-shaped any moment.

Core Fans should rejoice

There was nothing to dislike about this volume. Just sad we have to wait about 6 months for the next volume. If you are a Vampire Bund fan. This volume has everything from action, advancing the plot, and fanservice.

Jail Break

When Katie shows the power of her control using Pied Piper the commander she was working with decides she was a bigger threat than originally thought so he makes his own plans all for the honor of Clan Li whom Katie dare insinuate she is at least an equal to their glorious leader. In the Mean time the young pups, a member of Beowulf, and the unusual Gargantua werewolf they met recently are about to crash the party with Mina and Akira being forced guests of the camp. And what a party it is as those seeking fanservice get their wishes fulfilled and those looking for action and political manipulations also get their fill as we take another step into the conflict between Katie and Mina. :)

Lovely artwork. Engaging, fast-paced story. I highly recommend it if you have been reading this series. If you haven't, go back and read books 1 to 6 so you can follow it.
