Not as intense as I expected. The book is really short with short chapters. I wanted to read a more detailed version of each of the killer kids mentioned.

Keller's books are killer

This author writes quick read true crime books and they are always satisfying. He is prolific, always coming out with new ones covering different types of murderers. His "Murder Most Vile" series is my personal favorite.

These mostly teen killers ranged from tenacious bullies, to mean friends turning on one another. There was a school shooting meticulously planned. A preteen killer during the turn of the century who becomes an upstanding citizen. The youngest serial killer age 8, who he chose as his very innocent victims, and who covered up his crimes.

Why would an All-American boy turn Mass murderer? All teen Killers aren't male some female killers are more vicious. A knife seems to be a favorite weapon. A place teens often come into contact is school and murder happens there sometimes with unintended victims. How a stolen, then retrieved bike leads to murder. Some school staff turn into heroes when shootings break out at their school. Some killers murder in pairs but would never do so alone.

.5⭐️

This is the third book I have read by Robert Keller and it will be the last. One of the crimes he discusses is Hannah Ocuish. On one page he says she was born 1874, then commits a crime in 1786. He can not keep his facts straight, leaves out important details, typos, it’s just a mess. This guy has written over 100 ‘true crime’ books because he slaps together Wikipedia pages without even bothering to edit them. DONT waste your money or your time on this ‘author’.

wow but didn’t expect anything less!

As I stated above this book just like others was great. With each book it reminds me how much talent Mr. Keller has! If you love true crime books then look no further! He is one of the best! If only his next book was ready, lol…. But can’t wait!

Excellent

I highly recommend this book to all true crime enthusiasts. Very well written, and will definitely leave the reader with the question of nature versus nurture when reading about children like the ones portrayed in this book, and in some cases, it may very well be a combination of the two.

Well written and hard to imagine killer kids!

Killer Kids is a well written book. The murders these kids committed are unbelievably sad and horrific. Robert Keller did a good job of presenting these cases in such a way in a short space and he proved details in each case, so that you knew what was going on. If you like true crime stories, I would recommend you read this book.

heartbreaking

What is true about our society is that evil does exist. No matter the age, someone can be evil. This book shows the potential evil in our youngest members of society. So sad, all around.

Subjective and Poorly Edited

This book is heavy on speculation and opinions. I thought it would just be a straightforward true crime book. Also, I found numerous grammatical errors that drove me nuts. Dear author: The word is toward, not towards.

This book was interesting, but didn’t really hold me in thrall. The other books in this series were better.
