I don’t even know where to begin with this book. IT IS SO GOOD. If I could rate it a million stars, I would. Easily in my top 10 books I’ve read, and i’ve read a ton of books! Queen of Demons is a mafia book that focuses on the relationship of Dean and Julia. Dean is the tattooed, tall, hot mafia don. Julia is the fiery, housewife who is anything but happy with her current life. The story follows what happens when Julia’s whole life blows up and she learns everything is indeed not as it seems.
The character development in this book is absolutely fantastic! Not just with Dean and Julia, but with the larger side characters as well! You can’t help but be enamored with Dean, love Julia’s attitude, have your heart melted by Micha, and be more than a little curious about Cory. Now, let’s get down to the part I know you all care about, THE SMUT. Holy cow. Dean has quite the mouth on him and boy does he sure know how to put it to use! I mean honestly if Dean showed up at my door today, I wouldn’t even think twice about leading him to my bedroom! The scenes are so hot and plentiful!
Lots of spice, a great plot, and an absolute MUST READ. I can’t wait for you all to be just as obsessed with these characters and this world as I am.

Love love love. Where do I even begin? This book is a dark mafia romance that follows the love story between Dean and Julia. Julia is a very out spoken and stubborn house wife who’s stuck in a failed marriage to a guy who’s keeping a ton of secrets from her. Dean is the tattooed mafia don who on the outside seems like a cold hearted leader but on the inside is plagued with guilt and so much emotion. Deans brutal attitude while still fiercely determined to keep Julia safe made me instantly adore his character. Julia with her calm confidence to be patient with Dean and truly understand him in a way that made their love perfect.
This is one adventurous read that will make you question everything about Dean until all is revealed. His character is so mysterious, the way he holds so much within. His obsession with Julia and only her, shows how deep his feelings are that no one else is privileged to.
I CANNOT GET ENOUGH OF THESE TWO!!!!
Let’s talk about the side characters Micha and Cory, I fell in love with them both. Micha from the start was so caring towards Julia and you can sense the connection between the two. While we don’t know much about Cory his loyalty to Dean and his dedication to protect Julia has a special place in my heart. I can’t wait to see more of their characters in the future.
The smut was a 5/5. Hot hot and more hot. Everything is detailed. I love the fact that it’s non repetitive, I felt like I was reading something new at every scene. Get ready to have your body physically heat up reading some of the smut in this.
Overall I really enjoyed the plot of the book. Not once was I bored, it was wonderful to read along. I'm looking forward to seeing how others characters story come along. It's dark, hot and suspenseful and the best ride of my life. Trust me, you won't regret reading this one. JUST READ IT!!!!

This is the first book I’ve read by Hayley and I’m seriously addicted! I bloody loved this book. From the very first page to the last it was brilliant. Non stop with no pages I wanted to skim because it was boring. This book held my attention 100% and I was so excited to see at the end that Micah and Cory get their book too!!! Now that I honestly can’t wait for! I secretly hope that Sophie is in it too! Maybe Micah helps her? Now that’s an idea for the next book.
I wasn’t able to put this book down. Not until I had finished it. It’s one of the best books I’ve read and I read a lot! Probably a book every day or so! Having a knackered spine leaves you with limited hobbies lol

Julia has a boring life that she hates as a suburban house wife. Then, one day her husband Matthew comes home from work and tells her to pack a bag then takes her to a safehouse in the middle of nowhere. All kinds of things are revealed, and then Julia ends up with Dean, hot tattooed dirty mouthed leader of the Demons.
These 2 are FIRE together!! Julia is sassy and Dean will have you swooning! Even the side characters are AMAZING! I'm looking at you my sweet country dumpling Micha!!
The plot in this book had me hooked, the spice is absolutely Kindle melting. Seriously, Dean can say dirty things to me anyday!! This book is just all around AMAZING and a must read!

Julia thought her life was mundane until she finds herself hiding from trouble when her husband Matthew reveals that he’s been part of a mafia family from the beginning of their marriage. Since her life has been turned upside down, she also gets kidnapped by Dean and the demons. Julia has a lot of decisions to make when it comes to her future and who to trust, plus lots of great mafia action. Julia and Dean are so good together, I definitely love their connection.

Whew…I devoured this book within the first three hours of getting it. It’s so good! It’s a fast paced whirlwind of a story. Dean is a true gem and I’m sure you’ll fall in love with him within the first few chapters just like I did. Julia is no wilting FMC either despite first appearances that made me really want to knock some sense into her. Micha and even Cory are to die for as well. I hope I get to devour their stories soon, too.

I was lucky enough to be added to the ARC team for this book at the last minute, and oh man, I will be forever grateful to Haley Tyler for including me.
What a great book! We all know I love me a Mafia Romance and this one did not disappoint - straight into my favourites list!
I felt all the BDE from Julia, and Dean could melt the panties off anybody's Nana. Then you put these two together 🥵😍🥰 I love, love, loved this couple 🖤
I also really loved the side characters in this book, Micha and Cory, and I am so happy to know that they are now going to get their own story, because I NEED to know more about them 🖤

You know when you read a book during a literal tornado warning, it's gonna be amazing.
Haley is such a great writer, and I fell in love with everything from the very start. I can't believe that this is her first mafia romance.
From the very first page, you get sucked into a world that you don't wanna leave.
I loved Julia and Dean together, their connection, their dynamics, their fast-burn love for each other. Their vulnerability with each other has me soft, and the way Dean falls first!
Just the intensity, betrayal, romance, everything about QoD has me reeling.
Queen of Demons has my entire heart, and I cannot wait for more in her Demons world.

Wowsers! What a hot read! This was a steamy, dark, age-gap, fast-burn, enemies to lovers, captive, suspenseful mafia romance. Take note of content disclaimers given by the author—a big thank you to her for being transparent with what is mentioned or happens in the story.
The book starts with the very sad, and lonely Julia Blackwell trying to survive each day while feeling trapped inside a controlling marriage to Matthew. Her dull, little, suburban life gets turned on it’s head when she learns the man she married isn’t some businessman, but a high ranking member of the Costa Mafia, a crime family that is at war with their rivals The Demons. Things go from bad to worse when Julia’s husband forces them to go into hiding with all the heads of the crime family and Julia finds herself in mortal danger only to be rescued by the enemy—the delicious and dangerous, Dean Austen, head of The Demons. Dean may have saved Julia, but he doesn’t trust her since she was found with the Costa Mafia. She is his captive, his way to get the upper hand. Plans change when Dean and Julia grow closer over a horrific incident where Dean once again saves Julia. The longer she’s with him, the more he’s sure he can’t return her to her husband, and the more certain he is to make her his—permanently.
This was an enjoyable read filled with lots of steamy scenes to make you melt and suspense to keep your adrenaline pumping. The plot moved smoothly allowing you to sink into the story. The dialogue was entertaining. The descriptions gave you the full picture of the story. And the twists kept you flipping the pages to see what happened next.
Things that had me laughing or that I adored: Cowboy Disney Princess—I absolutely loved this description for Micha. I couldn’t stop giggling over it. Loved that Dean changed his diet to accommodate Julia’s eating choices. Loved that there were rescue pups. Loved how Dean showered Julia with an art studio after she was denied her passion during her marriage. Loved the coming together of lost family. Loved ALL THE STEAMY TIMES, especially how aggressive Dean was.🥵
Things I’m left wondering about: Is there going to be a HEA for Micha and Sophie? And I want to know where Julia and Dean hung their special art project.😉

I honestly don’t even know where to start with this book!
I’m lucky enough to be one of Haley’s Beta and ARC readers and can honestly say from the very first moment I read it, I was hooked!! I’ve read all of Haley’s books so far and absolutely LOVE them, but I think this one has taken the top spot.
Queen of Demons is a mafia romance that tells the story of Dean & Julia.
Dean is a tattooed badass who is the Don of the demons. He is strong, determined and incredibly hot!! He does have a soft side too, and it just makes him even more perfect.
Julia is a beautiful, confident and sassy housewife who is incredibly unhappy and lost in her marriage.
Julia’s world comes crashing down around her when she finds out the past 5 years of her life have been a lie. With Dean by her side, she finds happiness and everything she’s ever wanted.
Now can I just say, these two are absolute FIRE together!! They had an instant connection and their chemistry is out of this world! I love their stories, their banter and their soft sides. They are literally perfect for each other!
I can honestly say I love everything about the book!
The character’s back stories, the character development and the steamy scenes 🥵 Haley seriously outdid herself with those!!

Queen of Demons is a fast paced and spicy mafia romance that delivers everything I could want in this category.
Drama. Betrayal. Passion. Romance. Action. Pain. Chemistry. Intensity. And more!
In this story we meet Julia, a sweet housewife who has grown bored and unhappy with her life, and love. She wants more, but was she ready for what's to come? Is she ready for her husbands betrayal? Is she ready for Dean?
Ready or not, here it comes!
Julia is thrown head first into a dangerous gang war by none other than her husband. While being held in a safe house, she finds herself in an increasingly dangerous situation.
Introducing Dean. Mr tall, dark and handsome. Oh!... he's also the mysterious and lethal Don of the Demons, rival to her husband. He is dominant, protective and compassionate, and all he wants? Julia.
This story, the characters, the potential for further books - I loved it all. I couldn't put it down. I gasped, I laughed and I'm sure I was reading with my houth hanging home in some parts.

I absolutely loved this book! I love a good mafia trope and Haley did an amazing job with this book. I loved the male main character, Dean. He was everything you could have asked for as a main character. The way that he was both mafia but all of his intentions and thoughts made him such an interesting character and one that was easy to love. I binged this book so quickly due to how much I loved it. The spark provided between Julia and Dean can be felt coming off the page. As much as Julia and Dean brought me happiness, it was truly Micha who stole the show for me. What a perfect side character and learning enough about him for hopefully future book. I would gladly binge read an entire series from these characters.

Amazing!
Where does one find their own Dean? Pleassssse. This man is perfection. The mouth on him will set you on fiiire. It’s a fairly quick-ish read and I devoured it in one sitting. This book has great plot, characters, and spice! Looking forward to the next one!

Dark romance has tended to be one of the most difficult genres to earn my 5⭐️s, but this one has managed to do that, and I’m about to tell you why!
First, Ms. Haley Tyler managed to show the nuances of behavior that show themselves in a person who has been mentally and emotionally abused. This is difficult to do when you are writing a strong female character who can rise above her situation while not coming off as a damsel. This feat alone elevates Ms. Tyler’s book to a level very few other books reach, for me.
The realistic reactions and behaviors by all of the characters is worth noting too. There was not a single moment I felt like I was reading about fictional people. I connected to each hero character in a different, but no less important way.
There were few if any grammatical errors, and I didn’t see any continuity issues.
Even though this story follows a standard pattern of the Kidnapped Bride style books, there is nothing standard about this story. It is engaging, entertaining, exciting, and enjoyable. There’s all my e words for the day! LoL.
The world that was build, while not huge was so well developed it was easy to see in my mind’s eye.
I will note, Ms. Tyler seemed to have a fondness for describing a place as being “totally ______” meaning it looks perfectly like the individual who lives there. That’s so minor of a comment I debated not even listing it, but if I’m going to be completely honest, I knew I needed to include it.
So, if you’re wondering if this is going to be worth reading, fear not dear friend, this is a winner!
5 ⭐️s= Perfect story, exciting, engrossing, well developed complex characters, solid plot with few to no holes, descriptive environments and place settings, great mystery elements, realistic dialogue, believable reactions and behaviors, loved this story so much I’d buy it.
4 ⭐️s= Great story, highly entertaining and enjoyable, exciting storyline, well developed characters and settings, a few discrepancies but nothing that can’t be overlooked. Believable actions and reactions, realistic dialogue, a book I would consider buying.
3 ⭐️s= Good but not great story, noticeable discrepancies, grammatical and or spelling errors, undeveloped characters or unbelievable behaviors but still readable. Nothing majorly wrong with the story, just not interesting enough for me to continue. Would not buy the book.

First, Ms. Haley Tyler managed to show the nuances of behavior that show themselves in a person who has been mentally and emotionally abused. This is difficult to do when you are writing a strong female character who can rise above her situation while not coming off as a damsel. This feat alone elevates Ms. Tyler’s book to a level very few other books reach, for me.
The realistic reactions and behaviors by all of the characters is worth noting too. There was not a single moment I felt like I was reading about fictional people. I connected to each hero character in a different, but no less important way.
There were few if any grammatical errors, and I didn’t see any continuity issues.
Even though this story follows a standard pattern of the Kidnapped Bride style books, there is nothing standard about this story. It is engaging, entertaining, exciting, and enjoyable. There’s all my e words for the day! LoL.
The world that was build, while not huge was so well developed it was easy to see in my mind’s eye.
I will note, Ms. Tyler seemed to have a fondness for describing a place as being “totally ______” meaning it looks perfectly like the individual who lives there. That’s so minor of a comment I debated not even listing it, but if I’m going to be completely honest, I knew I needed to include it.
So, if you’re wondering if this is going to be worth reading, fear not dear friend, this is a winner!
5 ⭐️s= Perfect story, exciting, engrossing, well developed complex characters, solid plot with few to no holes, descriptive environments and place settings, great mystery elements, realistic dialogue, believable reactions and behaviors, loved this story so much I’d buy it.
4 ⭐️s= Great story, highly entertaining and enjoyable, exciting storyline, well developed characters and settings, a few discrepancies but nothing that can’t be overlooked. Believable actions and reactions, realistic dialogue, a book I would consider buying.

Queen of Demons is a story that follows Julia. A young house wife who is stuck in a life and marriage that is dull and stale. She hates when her husband comes home. Matthew is not the same man she married and she feels comfortable when she is alone. Until one day he comes home upset and forces her to pack a bag. Taking her to his “boss’s” safe house. Everything she thought she knew about her husband and marriage was a lie. Her husband was part of the mafia. He was a cold and cruel murderer. Matty doesn’t look at her like he used to…now the way he looks puts fear in her.
When she is saved from a fire and held captive by the rival gang to the mafia. She meets the Don of the demons ..tattooed bad boy with a good heart..DEAN!!! The demons don’t hurt her. If anything they treat her well and attempt to keep her safe. MICHA has my heart & I’m not even mad about it !!! I can not get enough of the Demon Males and am very impatient waiting for the next books …I’m addicted !!! lol
Julia is loyal to her husband until she hears him tell Dean to keep, F* her, unalive her that he didn’t care. She gave herself a chance to get close to Dean who has shown time and time again that he is willing to keep her safe and happy. Instead of making her feel like her passions are a burden he tries to include them into his own life so he could connect more with her. This couple..i don’t think I have shipped a couple like i have Dean & Julia.
Dean helps Julia come out of the shell of a woman she has become under the thumb of her marriage and husband. What happens when Matthew comes for Julia? Was she the same quiet submissive woman she was in her marriage or will she be the strong woman she has been growing into as Queen of Demons??
Fast paced with amazing characters, so much love its cute, the connections, the storyline/plot. I need a Demon. This book is HOTTTT.

Creo que leyendo este libro me dió síndrome de Estocolmo a mi primero 🤭.
Julia es una mujer que vivía una vida deprimente al lado de su marido y hacia todo para complacerlo. Hasta que toda su vida sale a la luz y a consecuencia de esto, ella sufre con la maldad de su mundo.
Dean me sorprendió muchísimo porque al principio se lo notaba indiferente con Julia y creía que era su enemiga pero después muestra un lado de el muy lindo y comprensivo. Ame su personaje y como le dió su lugar a Julia, mostrándole que estaban a la par y eran iguales.
Su relación avanzo de a poco y a veces era un poquito frustrante leer como ella quería volver a su antigua vida pero se entiende que fue por la manipulación que ella tenía y era una reacción obvia el querer volver a eso. Me gusto lo comprensiva que fue con Dean y que nunca lo haya forzado a querer mostrarle su cuerpo para demostrar que estaba comprometido con la relación, ella lo entendió y dió su tiempo para que tenga la confianza suficiente y se diera cuenta que ella lo quería sin importar las apariencias porque lo veía con amor.
A los temas delicados se lea dió su espacio y tiempo y eso me gusta. La historia de Dean y las inseguridades que tenía fue algo muy importante para la trama y la confianza que puso en ella fue un acto muy valiente 🤍✨

Hiding in a cabin while they start war with the demons puts her in the path of the Demon King.
This woman should be the enemy but even they can behave with decency, concern and respect.
Julia realizes she never knew the man she married at all and the head of the demons is protective where he never was.
Sean doesn't know if he can trust her but his feelings and instincts seem to carry him away.
This woman is his queen and won't ever be parted from his soul even in death.
I loved this story but I couldn't help but be devastated for Julia when she discovers who she was involved with.
She had to find out the worst possible way but Sean and Micah are there to help fix her broken heart.
This may not have been the life she envisioned but she is precious to at least one man in this world.
She managed to slither under the Demon King's skin and he is determined to keep her in the battle.
An emotional and sometimes frustrating story that had me silently praying they survive the forces against them.

Julia’s life is turned upside down when she learns her husband isn’t who she thought he was. & just when that seemed like it wasn’t enough, she gets captured by the Demons.
Under the captivity of the Demons, she learns a lot about the life she was kept out of & learns exactly the kind of person her husband is. She also finds herself getting closer to Dean, leader of the Demons.
Dean shouldn’t want Julia, but he does. He’s intrigued by her, he wants to care for her & protect her. He wants her to be his equal. The way he was obsessed with her made me feel all mushy inside. But Julia didn’t make it easy, she had a lot of emotions & decisions to work through to figure out what would be best for her.
Also the spice, y’all 😮💨😮💨😮💨 there is one scene that has an ending that’ll have me blushing anytime I think about it. Deans dirty mouth. The way Julia just took what he gave. Oh & he has a 🍆 piercing—plzzz 🥵

I'm obsessed with this world that Haley is starting with this book! Literally, obsessed! I wasn't a huge fan of Julia in the beginning parts of the book cause all we read and heard from her was about who blah her life was and them bam something changes and Matthew needs to get them out of there. I didn't love the part of the plot where she was captive as much as I had hoped but that is more a me thing than an author thing. I'm just not a huge fan when there are cages and cells involved but I do love love love a good forced proximity and captive trope in a book.
The angst in this book was incredible on both sides. Julia was torn between honoring her marriage and following her heart while the Dean was trying so so hard to not fall for her. I did find a few of the later chapters where she is having second thoughts frustrating but I just loved how Dean handled all of it and eventually we got to see Julia get a back bone.

OK so it’s not that it wasn’t an easy read or a fun book. However, it wasn’t necessarily enjoyable. The characters fall in love with each other but there’s not actual romance you’re just supposed to believe that they love each other because they tell you but I didn’t believe it because there wasn’t any sort of connection. I genuinely enjoyed the MMC he had wonderful growth, and I understood his perspective and where he was coming from however, the FMC is whiny and passive aggressive and doesn’t ever really stick up for herself and I just Didn’t like her. I think that’s what ultimately took me out of the book. The most was the fact that I didn’t care about her. However, I will probably read the next book because I did enjoy Mika, but I didn’t care for Cory at all, nor do we know him, so maybe if he’s in the second book more than I will care and want to read the third, but as of right now, Mike, I was the only character that I was excited for.

Well damn her husband took over his father's spot as second in command. Dean seems like a major asshole. Micha is very sweet to Julia even though he isn't sure she can be trusted. Micha and Julia are related!?! I'm glad Dean got to her before any major damage could be done. I like that both Dean and Julia started opening up to each other about their past. Damn Matthew is a freaking ass! Dean kissed Julia!?! They did more than that! And he made her an art studio! She is his! I'm glad Julia got to talk to Micha about his father. Oh God! They got Julia! At least she is fighting back! Gosh she jumped in front of Dean and got shot!!! Great ending!

Queen of Demons completely took me by surprise. One word- DEAN. Dean is the perfect main character- hardened by life but turns into a cinnamon roll for Julia. His character development was astounding. Throughout the book you realize how many layers he truly has.

This book was everything- amazing supporting characters, suspense, and THE SPICE. Whew! Haley Tyler wrote such an epic love story- I know I will reread this in the future. Once again I fell in love with a morally grey man written by Haley Tyler.. but honestly I’m not surprised.

You know it's good when you read the book it one sitting because you just can't put it down!
Julia is a suburbian housewife who's life gets flipped upside down when she discovers all is not as it seems and her husband has been keeping secrets. In enters tall, dark and tatted Dean, mafia don to the Demons. When the two come together it is explosive and beautiful.
I loved seeing the firey, sassy, strong-willed Julia not be beaten down by the curveballs life throws at her. Dean is a sexy, dirty-talking, possessive, alpha man who leaves you panting for more. The character development of not only Dean and Julia, but some amazing supporting characters is done beautifully.
This was my first Haley Tyler book, but I will definitely be diving in to her backlist as I absolutely loved this one!

I wish there was more stars
Dean and Jay they are fated and this, your words, story, characters , etc shows what strength it takes to break away from abuse and still find happiness in the end. Even though misery may linger from time to time with the memories that haught but it doesn’t mean you can’t push forward for a better life, push to find yourself in my mits of chaos. Jay’s cuz is my favorite and Corey and I would totally get along *Devious smile*!! Thank you Haley my goddess for everything. You write such amazing books that keep me wanting to read until I’m finished to only read again as well as take me to another world to find myself within your characters. I may not know the right words to say most of the time but y’all need to read everything Haley’s written.
PS, don’t forget to take care of yourself because you come first Goddess Haley!!
