Steel Roses #4

Beautiful Chaos

Rate this book
I found something I never should have.

Learned the dark and depraved secrets of my father and his friends.

I paid the greatest price for it. Lost everything.

Revenge kept me alive.

Knowing one day I would make them pay for their sins against me.

One day my sisters would get justice.

That day has finally come.

I built my throne with blood and grew my kingdom with violence.

Found five men who tore my walls down and built me up stronger than ever.

Lines have been drawn. Moves have been made.

New alliances were formed while old ones burned to the ground.

War was declared, but none of us were prepared for how much we had to lose.

The Bleeding Roses were born and St Graves will never be the same.

The streets have run red, but our war is only just getting started.

Our true enemies may not know we are coming after them,

But they will…soon.

There's nothing Roses do better than revenge.

Beautiful Chaos is the last book in the Steel Roses series. This book will not make sense if you have not read the first three books in the series. Steel Roses is a dark why choose romance, meaning the female protagonist has three or more love interests and will not be forced to choose. This book contains content that is not suitable for everyone. Please read the Foreword at the beginning before delving into the story. Aways feel free to reach out to the author or her team with any questions or concerns. This book will end in a happily ever after for our main characters, but it is important to note there will be more series within the same world.

The last installment of this series could not have been any better.. the redemption that Lettty has throughout this book is phenomenal. I absolutely lived for the epilogues at the end of the book and thought they made a nice edition for the ending.

This book was EVERYTHING that I didn't even I know I needed from the end of this amazing series! It was such a rollercoaster of emotions, sad, happy, funny, and everything in between. Samantha writes mental health so beautifully and is one of the only writers who has ever put into words how I feel about my own mental health.

This was a thrilling ride filled with twists and coming to terms with life after revenge and I loved that, so few books think ahead to the 'after' and the after these characters set up for themselves was wonderful. I just about died laughing at the guys solution to them not all being legally able to marry Scar but wanting to be legally bound together.

It starts pretty dark and we go through some major trauma processing along with Scar, but her guys and her family help pull her out the other side and we get the happy psycho we've all fallen in love with.

Collin was a pleasant surprise, I didn't know what to expect from him and wasn't sure where his storyline was heading and if I liked it but he ended up being a perfect addition to the cast and a character who I really enjoyed.

I absolutely LOVED that we got to visit Black Hallows and meet Ash, Elle and Linc after all the Easter eggs in previous books, as that series by GN Wright is one of my favourites and I squealed so hard!

I absolutely adored Scars and the guys final acts of revenge it was all so twisted and yet so utterly perfect in every way. And I love how their story really feels complete with a wonderful series of epilogues, whilst also leaving stories open for the rest of the gang. I can't wait for more books in the Chaos world, I'm guessing a certain blonde fighter Luca mentioned will be part of it. I also look forward to hopefully seeing Tyler's stories and Holden's. And we all know and hope that we'll get to see Roe Kai Cal and Trev grow up and become their own little harem eventually.

Wow, what an amazing series this was! Epic storyline, and I absolutely loved how deep and thoughtful this series was when it came to mental health. To see the way these characters grow and heal was the best! Can't wait to read more of this world!

Yaaaasssss! We FINALLY get answers! And Scar gets to really let her psycho out and all the guys are right by her side including a new/old friend who helps her get her revenge big time.

Thank you Sam for an arc in exchange for my honest review.

Fabulous ending to an epic journey and I guess that indeed, there is nothing sweeter than a well deserved revenge. Scar has come such a long way since my first encounter with her, from the shattered, emotionally hesitant character to the strong, nurturing and family - orientated woman.

The FMC has gone way and beyond my wildest hopes as she slowly, but surely started showing vulnerability, accepted her limitations and allowed herself to break every now and again. To me that speaks volumes as to the type of character the author has created and to an extent Scar is one of those individuals that has really touched a part of my soul. Having the courage to allow for healing to take place is such a difficult thing to do, hence my absolute adoration of the character and admiration for the author, who has managed to portray that on paper.

Letty' s men have been supportive, affectionate and completely devoted to their beautiful chaos in this last book in the series. The family unit that Scar has managed to create is the sweetest victory in my humble opinion. The extended family with Rachel, Ian, Jade, Holden and other intriguing side characters is yet another fantastic element that captivated me and made this entire reading experience incredible.
I am so smitten with the story that it will definitely be part of my guilty pleasure list. Samantha Bee has tantalized me with the outstanding character development, captivating storyline and a range of complex emotions that have kept me on edge throughout the series. I cannot wait to dive further into the World Of Chaos.

I have no words…. I would like to give this book a million stars, because I don't remember the last time - if ever - I read such an amazing conclusion to a series. Seriously.
I wish I could now forget I've read it so I could read it again as if it was the first time.
The book is a masterpiece from cover to cover. I didn't think I would ever cry while reading an afterword, but Sam proved me wrong. I don't know if I've ever read such a sincere, from the bottom of a heart written afterword.
Now Beautiful Chaos wasn't an easy book to read. There was so much pain in the pages, so many horrifying moments, but also so much growth of the characters.
I'm so proud of every one of them for the long way they came since the first book. And the new addition into the family? I never knew Scar needed that, but it's so much better with them and I can't wait to hear more about them.
I also have to applaud Samantha for the originality of moving Scar's relationship with the guys to another level. I laughed out loud when I read it. It's so genius.
And the fourth epilogue? God I'm mad at her for leaving us hanging like that. I needed the books about these characters like yesterday. Or at least some sort of bonus scene or something.
The only thing I regret is that I can't read Jade's story, because it contains tropes I'm not comfortable with, to get a full picture. And I also wish that Alec would have had a different fate because he is missed dearly.
I'm also delighted that Beautiful Chaos won't be the last time we will see these characters and that there are more books planned in this world.

If you haven't read the other books in this series, STOP, go back and read them. This series needs to be read in order for it to make sense.

There is a recap at the beginning of this book to remind us where we left off, then the prologue takes us back in time to the night that set Scarlett on her course.

In the present we are right where we left off in Vicious Chaos. Scarlett and Declan are attending a charity ball using Declan's name as entry. When Scarlett hears her old name called in a familiar voice she froze in Declan's arms. A retreat to an unoccupied room, a brief conversation with Charles as he pleads with her to leave and not return and Scar questions how he recognized her. This is followed by a quick departure with a seemingly drunken Charles in tow.

Now they need to discover if Charles is a possible ally or just another for the list. What Charles has to say is very interesting indeed.

With Charles now helping on one front, the focus switches back to finding Romero. Information provided by Charles will help to narrow that process down a bit.

We also have Rachel and the fact she hasn't been working since Alec was killed. Jade is her main support, but something has to light a fire under her.

The kids are all school age now and that's another process that will be addressed in this book. Top priority, keep the kids safe.

There are many loose ends that get tied up in some very interesting ways, as Scar moves toward her happily ever after.

Lots of kindle melting heat, tears, laughter, and so much more in this series finale.

This series is hands down, one of my favorite series. Ever. This series is the one that has gotten me the closest to crying actual tears (my brother says I have no emotions so that's saying something).

This was 100000% worth the wait. It's such an emotional rollercoaster in the best way possible. It has everything you could want and more. Scar is one of the most complicated yet well-written FMC imho. The mental health aspect is just so impeccably well done. It feels so real, it feels so intense, it is everything. You can't help but feel everything she's feeling. I was so immersed in this book that everything in the real world just didn't feel as important, haha. I needed to know how it ended.

And my goodness that ending was everything I didn't know I needed and more. They say it's not the journey that matters but the destination, but I honestly think it's the journey that does. The way her men came together with others despite their complicated feelings, the way others jumped right in to help, the way they had to figure out what they needed even if it wasn't what they wanted. The twists and turns. I can't even put coherent thoughts together because the way this series sunk its claws into me and wouldn't let me go.

The distinct differences between the men i.e. Ryder versus Declan, were all very different pieces of the puzzle yet were needed to create Scars full picture. They worked together so seamlessly that you can't imagine any one of them being even slightly different than they were written. Even the side characters like Charles and Jade.

I'm just rambling now but this series, this ending, just chefs kiss. 10 out of 10, as many stars as possible. Well done.

Wow, what an ending to this series. Watching all these characters grow over the past almost 2500 pages, has been such a joy. But with everything going on with the book (especially relating to the murder), I'm kind of glad that I can't visually imagine things in my head lol and I'm really glad that I stumbled upon this story and read it.

The fierce protectiveness of everyone throughout the series, while watching their family continue to grow made my heart burst. They really all needed each other in different ways, and the way that they work together as a team was just amazing (even though Scar did continue to go off the rails so many times). I wasn't sure about Charles at first given everything in the past, but that redemption arc was one of the best in the entire series.

But ultimately, from the plot perspective, I appreciated the plot and didn't feel like the story was dragging on at all. The start to each of the books was a bit slow in my opinion, but once I passed the 25% mark, I was flying through.

I'm excited to see these characters again in more books!!

I didn't know how she was going to tie up all the big loose ends in this book - it seemed like such a big feat.
But we got there - and it was thrilling, it wasn't rushed, it all made sense and I was both dying to finish it and sad when it ended.

The boys were animated as ever and we continually learn more about them, their relationships with Scar and each other. They never cease to entertain with their creativity during group- and solo activities.
I love that they all have such distinct personalities that if I had forgotten who's POV the chapter was from, it was easy to follow along!

And Scar became a really evolved person in this book - we found out the full depth of her trauma and we got to see just how human she really is. I actually loved seeing her full range of emotions and also her getting her revenge and finally seeing it through.
And we get to see her lean further and further into being a mother. We get so many cameos from our faves from the Chaos world, but also some cameos from Elle King and Ash and Linc (GN Wright) which was a fun moment for anyone who also loved that series!

All in all - it was unhinged, it was spicy, it was definitely emotionally charged. I'm sad to end our journey with these psychos, but I loved every step of the way.

The perfect ending to Scar's story. I felt everything in this book. I cried, laughed, got turned on, and cried some more. Sam created a beautiful story and has built an amazing world that has so much more potential to continue with other amazing characters! I'm so sad that this series is over, but I couldn't have pictured it ending any other way. You really get everything pulled together. I loved how we got little reminders of things from previous books. It made me emotional knowing it was all ending, lol.

I've had a connection to Scar since book one. I've reread the first 3 books countless times, and I'm sure I'll be reading the entire series all over again soon. Watching Scar get her revenge and her HEA was beautiful. We waited for this book, and Sam didn't disappoint. I felt like the connection through pain, trauma, and healing between these characters and the author was strong, which made for an amazing story.

Even when these guys drive you insane as you read the final book, don't quit. Everything comes together, and you are not left unsatisfied. Congratulations on your first big series being finished, Sam!

A fantastic ending to a great series. Warning: Scar's revenge is graphic, she and her Roses don't hold back. It was wonderful "seeing" some old friends from Black Hallows, I would love an entire book of them working together. I think I also saw a peek at a character in Kinghood. I don't think it is a coincidence the college in Kinghood is Anders GRAVE University and the Roses live in St. GRAVES.

We see additional characters from Scar's past, she is able to have closure and to heal in only the way Scar can heal, blood must spill. We see more of the supporting characters (Joe, Charlene, Ty, Ian, Jade, etc.) in this book. We learn a little about Ty's background, hopefully he gets a book so he gets a HEA. Samantha has left it open to add stand alone books to the series and to start the second generation with Roe, Kai, Cal, and Trevor. I will be thrilled to read their books, just imagine Scar and her men as grandparents!

Wow
What an amazing end to this series!

It was honestly amazing to see that Scar finally got her revenge for the trauma she had to endure at the hands of misogynistic, psychopathic and absolutely vile men. I only wish she got to take her father out as well.

It was also beautiful to met Charles. Honestly their relationship was everything I didn’t even realize was missing. He tried so hard to protect her and did everything he possible could to. Also to help her now to make up for “not” doing enough 8 years ago was beautiful.

I kinda figured he didn’t want her like that but it was honestly hilarious to have it confirmed. I just wish we saw his future too.

I loved Roe and I wish we saw more of her dynamic with the boys and her siblings. Also love them names. Definitely a tribute.

This series was amazing! I loved seeing Ellie and Asher and everybody.

I hope we get more from this world.

Remember every rose has its thorns 😉

As one of my favourite series I was so excited to read this . The characters have grown so much throughout the series and made you love each and every one of the Roses even more . Beautiful Chaos ties everything up nicely even though some scenes were hard to read as in previous books and I was so glad they got their HEA . The epilogues at the end were perfect as well but I want to touch on the afterword from Samantha and say how much that touched my heart I don’t cry at books but your afterword had me in tears 😭❤️

This has been the long awaited conclusion to the steel roses series and is a direct continuation so picks up from book 3.

The book reads like a tale of 2 halves, the first part dives into the emotional struggle Scar is facing from both the events of the gala and the trauma of her past. The author has done a brilliant job at portraying that anguish, pain and feelings of being lost to darkness. The second part is where the answers and revenge come. This is dark, psychotic and therapeutic but fits the theme and characters and really keeps the reader invested.

I love the humour and protective vibes from the children, the twins and Trev certainly have Roes back. I would also love a later book featuring Cassie and Roe as long distance bff's!

This was a good book for a great series and I am looking forward to a re read through from the start now the series is complete.

5⭐️ The fourth and final Steel Roses book. It took me a week to read because it is deep, heavy, dark, and the healing process is so intense for Scar in so many ways. Her growth throughout these books is nothing short of exceptional (all thanks to the amazing writing by Samantha Bee), and I fell in love with her a little more through every page. Her merry bad of psychos that she claims, and claim her in return, are such a unique and powerful group of 5 men who each bring something special to the table.

This book was everything and even though waiting a little longer than anticipated was not easy, this final installment was so worth the wait because it brought the entire series to a perfect conclusion. I am excited to see what other books come out of this world and how we will be able to see into what else these amazing characters are capable of doing.

BRAVO SAMANTHA!!!!
👏👏👏👏👏

Like so many I have been waiting for this book for so long. After reading it I am 100% happy that we had to wait so long because this was a million times better than I could have ever hoped for.

When I discovered this series in 2021 it stuck with me, I was absolutely hooked and couldn’t stop thinking about it. I was so attached to the characters and their stories and the development of their businesses and life.

This story, the ending of this journey we’ve been on and wrap up of Scar’s revenge… it was perfectly done. I loved every bit and piece of this book and the storyline.
I was so sad The Steel Roses series was coming to an end but my gosh it was done so well.

I can not recommend this series enough. It is one of my favorite ever. I can’t even write a decent review because I’m just so in awe of how much I enjoyed the way Samantha wrapped this series up!

Have been patiently awaiting this fourth, and final, installment in the Steel Roses series. The wait was more than worth the suspense 🥰

Scarlett, searching for answers, hunting down and exacting revenge on the horrors her past persona, Charlotte, endured and survived. Looking for closures and hoping to heal. Author writes graphic and visceral moments from her trauma, gore, and steamy scenes ♥️ 💋🔥

What an amazing ride 😍 fantastic conclusion for this series 👏 every emotion has been run rampant throughout from pain and horror to love and joy. The epilogues rounded out everyone's HEA and a future book or series 😘

It's beautifully okay to have scars

I really actually enjoyed this series. The absolute carnage and revenge.
The storyline in this had me hook line and sinker, it was so good!
Scar was abused as a child and grew up to exact revenge with her harem of crazy men. She came a long way in learning to be the best version of herself.

Bit of a tiny spoiler:

The lil plot twist about Charles GOT ME GOOD, even I was starting to question his motives with Scar.
The family they created 🥺 and how they all got married… ADORABLE
Also, I was complaining about the lack of group scenes, but DAMN ALL 6 OF THEM AT ONCE. WILD.

I would LOVE to read about the final scene omg.

It’s actually over 😭 I’ve waited so long for this book and oh my god was it worth the wait. We finally get all of the answers about Scar’s past and get to watch her grow and heal from her trauma. I’ve done a reread of the whole series once I received my ARC and being fully immersed in this world was really something else. I’m already feel the book slump coming. I can’t wait to see more from the world of chaos but I’m really going to miss Scar and her guys. I definitely recommend this series and now it’s time for me to binge everything else Samantha’s ever written.

The perfect ending to Scar's aka letty story. I cried, laughed, got the warm fuzzys & cried some more. This is a work of Art and the amazing world Sam created has so many potential spin off opportunities! Just wow! Eveything comes together at the end and we get to see Scars true psyco! We get the answer to so many questions as well! The trauma and pain and growth we've seen the characters go through is just remarkable.
What an amazing read so blessed that I got an ARC copy and can't wait to see what Sam writes next ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ babe if I could give you more I would!

So I’m a bit torn in how to review Beautiful Chaos. For the most part it was an interesting read but a bit long. I felt myself skimming through pages because honestly it lost my attention. It took until halfway through for me to get hooked. Now, that ending was epic!!!!! Scar kicked some major a$$. It was a long journey to get to the finish line but I really did enjoy reading this labor of love. You could definitely feel the emotions coming off the pages. Thank you SB for writing this amazing story!

All I can say is WOW. Once I had all four books (I have Jades book but haven't read it yet), I couldn't put it down and now have stuff to catch up on but it was TOTALLY WORTH IT. The smooth chemistry that is there, will be fun to see how the family expands and rescues more and more girls, grows closer and the kids grow up. Such a momentous moment for the start of school, but was surprised that they hadn't already put cams into the classes instead of going the spy route lol.

Thanks again for the roller coaster of a ride Samantha.

I love how this series was wrapped up. Scar finally getting revenge on her childhood tormentors took up just the perfect amount of time in the book. It wasn't over too quick. It didn't drag by. It was just perfect for my dark little reader's heart.  The same can be said about the epilogues. I love that each of the guys pretty much got a chapter after the main story was finished, and it explained all that was happening and how they were in the future.

This series was a big longer (page wise) than most I've read in a while, but I really enjoyed it!

I loved this ending for Scar and her family. They have all come so far from the beginning, but her especially. Reading how she dealt or didn't deal with her trauma and going from hopeless and only fueled by revenge to opening her heart, forgiving, and planning a future with happiness was perfect for her. I am so sad for this to be the end of this series, but looking forward to the other character's stories!

Wow. What a way to wrap up the series. Overall, I believe it was a good ending. There were moments when my attention would wander throughout the book, but I enjoyed it. It’s clear that there’s more to come in this universe, and I look forward to reading those books as well. I’m confused why the last epilogue/flashforward was included, as it felt incomplete. I’m unsure if the author is planning to write a second gen series as well, but if not, that particular entry didn’t feel necessary.

I look forward to reading future books about other characters in this amazing world Sam has created!

Fabulous and yet another ending for me. This ride I started some 2 years ago and yes reading books 1 to 3 is a must here or you won't understand the story. At least I love that the book is long! It is really huge and I love that so I took one day to read and read and enjoying myself I did. I was invested in the characters and seeing what they go through and grow is fantastic. Must read series!

This was such a good wrap up to Scar's story. I loved seeing her heal and grow into herself and her men. I adored watching them balance parenthood and try to find what their new normal is going to be. It did leave me wanting more - I need Rachel to get her HEA! Great series overall!
