3.5 stars. These are good books, but this one wasn't my favorite. There is a monarch butterfly festival and Marion is volunteering for it. She wants her friends to help but theyre all busy so she tries to get her sister but she's a bug hater. She goes and gets a little upset that all the kids aren't crafting correctly (relatable) but then her friends show up and all is well.

In this book, Marion volunteers to help with a butterfly release at the arboretum. She is out in charge of the craft table. Also, Gabby is afraid of all bugs, but she starts to be okay with butterflies. the end!

Since I had enjoyed the other book about Marion - Marion Strikes a Pose - I had decided to try this one. But this one was a disappointment. The story in my opinion was rather dull and she didn't face such a huge dilemma as in the other book.

In this story she goes to this butterfly release. And she is put in charge of the arts + crafts. She does have a tiny problem but in the long run it doesn't amount to much.

So I read this but really didn't find it too interesting.

There is a side plot of her younger sister being scared of butterflies.

This book and this series, is an instant pick-me-up. It meets the definition of a feel-good story. And it is a reminder of how good life can be when we work together and respect and value each other, and the world around us.
