Dash and Zoom are the best of friends. But what happens when Dash takes one of Zoom's favorite toys in this sweet, lighthearted tale of two lovable puppies?
Dash doesn't really mean to cause any trouble, but those colorful socks look like so much fun, and so does Zoom's ball. That yarn is irresistible along with everything in that blue hand-bag. How can any fun-loving dog resist it all?
Before she knows it, Dash has taken and stuffed so many things under the chair that it's about to tip over! Even worse, some of those toys belong to her best friend Zoom, who now feels quite sad.
Will Dash keep everything, or will she make the right decision to return the things that don't belong to her?
With the straight-forward simplicity of Anna Dewdney's Llama, Llama books and Mo Willems' popular Pigeon books, along with the wittiness and heart-warming aspects of the 2002 release of the book Two Dogs by best-selling author Ian Falconer, this book plays off its exquisite illustrations and provides loads of giggles and smiles to young children and early readers, while teaching valuable lessons about the importance of sharing, empathy, and making good decisions.
Dash and Zoom: Little Miss Sneakypants is perfect for kids ages 2 - 5 and pre-K - 2nd grade.
This is a laugh-out-loud hilarious short tale for children. Two adorable dogs (one is definitely a puppy) who naturally make messes while having fun. A lot of children's giggles here!
I accessed a digital review copy of this book from the publisher. This book shows Dash and Zoom, two dogs, as they take a nap. The only problem is that Dash tries to get into trouble. This is a short, cute book that shows two dogs making trouble. It is a good book for younger readers.
When you have two adorable puppies, you know that everyone will love the book. Dash and Zoom are friends and this story is about Dash being a Little Miss Sneakypants. Zoom is resting and Dash is restless. She wanders over to the darning basket and pulls out a lone sock. She likes to play with it and then leaving it where it doesn’t belong. Dash reminds her that those socks are not her own.
Dash continues to be sneaky. She turns the basket over and hides underneath it. The sneaky little dog tries to bring the basket over to where she has taken all the socks. She’s making a real mess. Zoom is getting more and more unhappy.
Dash realizes that Zoom is right and corrects her mistakes by putting all the socks and yarn back in the basket. After she does the right thing will Dash be happy again? Children will love this beautifully illustrated book!

A very early reader, this colourfully presents two dogs, one of whom is adamant she is going to cart off the entire contents of the laundry bag – and the other's ball – and do with it all as she pleases. It's as much about getting youngsters introduced to books as it is about knowing what a possession is and how we should not always assume anything about other people's.
