Facing an alien threat across not two, but three galaxies, there was only one way to come out on top. Charlie would need a hat-trick of awesome. Good thing he was feeling lucky.
The Urvalin invaders had linked three realms in a bid to join their power and create an intergalactic dominion. And they would have succeeded without incident if not for one crucial mistake. They hadn’t counted on the resourcefulness of Charlie and his friends.
Facing a much larger threat than ever before, disparate magic systems were made to work together, and former enemies found themselves unlikely allies in an all or nothing battle for the freedom of all of their worlds.
It would be bloody, and it would be brutal, but at the end of the day only one faction could prevail. Charlie and his friends were willing to do whatever necessary to ensure their victory, but the question lingered. With Charlie still trapped in a distant galaxy, would that be enough?

If I could've given this book more stars I honestly would've. Scott Baron has absolutely surpassed himself with this work. I adore these characters and I think I went through every single emotion in my body while reading this. I laughed, I cried, I cheered. This was bloomin' BRILLIANT!
I can't believe that this is number twelve in the series as it feels as fresh as the first. I don't want to say anything about the plot or what happens to our friends. I truly do not want to spoil any part of this experience for you.
Great world building, fabulous strong characters that the reader wants to see succeeding.. and surviving, great storytelling, heart-wrenching action scenes, and all the excellent special wee things that Scott Baron adds to his books. A wonderful piece of work!
This has been a great series. If you are a LMBPN publishing fan you will love these Scott Baron books. I loved them so much I asked Michael Anderle and Craig Martelle to check out the series. This is a series that starts off pretty normal but ends up spanning galaxies and even medieval times. A must read fantasy series and spin-offs. Fantastic writing
I have totally enjoyed all 12 of these books. They had all the aspects I personally look for in a book, sci-fi, fantasy, space stuff, a sense of humor and most of all great characters that I could connect with. I highly recommend this series. I'm sad I finished!
I would like to thank you Scott for this series. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading Charlie’s adventures and I’m looking forward to hunting around for more of your work. Please continue to write and I will continue to read your work. Kind regards Ian Davies
The end of a thoroughly enjoyable series. Not a book to start with, as the many ends to tie off are carry-overs from the previous books, and if you hadn't read them, and the clockwork chimera series, the book would not make any sense whatever. BUT, having read all the aforementioned books, this was a pretty convoluted ending to the series, and, although a touch contrived in places, in general the book is well paced with a lovely twist right at the end. Well done Mr Baron!
The continuing saga as Charlie encounters the denizens and new rules of coping with going through a portal into a new galaxy. A galaxy where magic is the rule of thumb and slavery is common. How he copes with it and the diverse inhabitants makes for fun reading
Excellent story lines. Keeps you interested and entertained. Highly recommend. Each book ends well and draws you back for the next. Takes the ridiculous and makes it seem possible.
Charlie has received the Baccona rod, he has to wait for the other users to be ready so he can get back home to Leila and their baby. Meanwhile, there is an effort to remove the enemy from all 3 galaxies.
The series is definitely a great read. I'm I 70 year old who loves science fiction,, and when new worlds and dragons are added in I have to sensitively get the series.
Sometimes emotional, sometimes corny. Worth the beginning to end read. Some friends laughed at the "you read about space dragons" but I have to say I really enjoyed the books.
I enjoyed these adventures and the thought the Author used in developing a story line to include technology and magic to weave a fun collection of storylines.
