Once Upon a Crime #3

Three Times A Murder

Rate this book
Three serial killers, two detectives, and one chance to survive.

After less than a year in prison, the Grimm Reaper has escaped from Black Meadow super-max. Chelsea Sullivan is horrified — not only did she help put him away, she was also the last woman he targeted, escaping only with Jim’s help. The Grimm Reaper is coming for her, and he won’t let her get away again.

Jim McPherson is determined to keep his partner safe, and he’s not above bending the rules to make that happen. He might need to because clearly, the Reaper has missed killing. He gets right to work — two “fairy tale” victims are found almost immediately. But while the media is quick to report he’s active again, Jim and Chelsea aren’t so sure. They think they have a copycat on their hands.

Now they have two murderers to catch, despite overlapping evidence. Once they manage to separate the cases, they find a third killer is operating in Steel City. And he might be the most dangerous and disturbed of them all.

Three Times A Murder is the third and final book in Nolon King’s new Once Upon A Crime Trilogy. Start reading your favorite new series today!

Nolon King writes smart psychological thrillers designed to leave you on the edge of your seat. His stories are dark, twisty, and often decidedly close to home.

He’s not afraid to explore the darker side of human nature through stories featuring families torn apart by secrets and lies. If you enjoy reading authors like Darcey Bell and Harlan Coban, movies like A Simple Favor and The Hand That Rocks the Cradle, or shows like Ozark and Dead to Me, you’ll love Nolon King.

When not writing you will find Nolon drinking black coffee and observing humans in their natural habitats.

Three Times A Murder

Read the two other books and the rest is history! Thoroughly enjoy the tie ins on the stories. Enjoyed meeting the cast of characters and getting embroiled in the story. Hoping for another one! Thanks!

Overall, it was a good story. Love the first book in this series!!! This one ended on a good note but I wasn't satisfied with the ending. It made it sound like there would be more books, but sadly this series is only a 3 book series. I would read this series again as it was a decent who-dun-it.
