Trashy just straight up racist history writing. For those looking for a more thoughtful and accurate account of “Indian gaming”, I’d recommend High Stakes:
Florida Seminole Gaming and Sovereignty by Jessica Cattelino.

The book is alright. Eisler is clearly a journalist. The historical information is not completely correct. It I full of inaccualrate history that you would find through Wikipedia or Google. However, the information on their casino & their records I very interesting. Worth a read; just remember that the history of the tribe is not necessarily correct.

It was very interesting to learn how the two tribe-run casinos in CT came into being.
