First time reading this author and it was a good book.

We start off with Cora and her fathers messy party she remeets Brett her fathers ex-best friend who she loves being sassy to. Poor girl had a bf the lost a bf at that party when she caught him with her fathers finace. Heartbroken she wants the summer alone but didn't know stalkee-ish Brett had some different plans when he follows her and "saves" her when she has car problems the moments between them are sassy, bratty and oh so delicious. Sexual tension In the cabin their relationship moves 0 to 100 when they play and Brett is playing for keeps. They grow closer but reality comes knocking when they have to go back.
This did have some daddy/lol girl vibes like washing her, coloring books and daddy name that type of vibes. So if your looking for some dirty fun this novella is a good one.

Brett and Cora are unconventional yet well matched. From the moment he realizes shes no longer a kid but a woman he stalks what he wants. And he wants her to call him Daddy. It’s hard to call a lifelong family friend an instalove match but the change in status is so swift it can’t be labeled anything but.

The last scene of this book is one to remember. I wish the bonus epilogue had been better but it’s still a nice one year time jump that gave a HEA ending for the couple.

Cora's dad wants to see if his girlfriend can be faithful so he invites Brett over as bait and leaves on business thing. However, nothing goes as planned and by the end of the night Brett is comforting Cora. Cora decides she needs some time alone and plans to go to her dad's cabin. Its not long before Brett is following and things heat up between them. What will her dad say about them being together?

This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

This wasssss meh. I skimmed a lot for be honest.

-daddy kink… he calls her little mouse, and baby girl and baby.
-he care takes… meaning he puts her in the bath, washes her hair, feeds her

-the kink scenes I wasn’t into. I don’t mind daddy kink if it’s done well. But here it kinda felt age play like but wasn’t… like good girls get snacks, and go get ready for your bath and bed… and she got out her coloring book after he tucks her in…
-h is a virgin but he doesn’t really prep her before he has her ride him the first time… 😒
-there is an extended Epilogue which I guess gives us a true HEA but I didn’t sign up for it causeee I don’t care enough 🤷🏻‍♀️

I am reviewing a reader copy of this book.

Cora had finished school not only for the summer but for life she was off to college, she had her future planned, she was going to marry her high school boyfriend Josh and live happily ever after. But of course, that was a dream that comes crashing around her ears when she finds her boyfriend in bed with who was meant to be her new stepmother at a BBQ party meant to celebrate her father’s engagement, she should have known that things were never going to go well when she discovered that her father had invited his ex-best friend, and her secret crush Brett. Brett makes her want things that she can never have especially when her father hates him so much but when she tries to escape to the family cabin and he follows her will she be able to resist him and if she succumbs to her feelings will it cost her, her father?

No one was more shocked than Brett was when he was invited to his now ex best friends BBQ, after he left town and with Dylan believing that he stole their dreams and left him far behind, but he has always been watching from the sidelines. He has returned to finally leave the past in the past and sell his father’s house and leave is past behind him once and for all. That all changes when he sees Cora, she has definitely grown up in the years that he has been gone and become a woman, a woman that he has every intention of claiming as his and only his from this moment. She has become is obsession and he will do whatever he has to, to keep her by his side. But who will Cora choose if it comes to that her father or him?

There is definitely dubious consent in this book, but it is also a seriously naughty treat, I really do understand why some people are mad about this book and maybe it should have a trigger warning, but I loved it and as this is new author, I can guarantee that I will be looking for books from her in t he very near future. 4.5 Naughty stars

Cora is a nineteen year old girl living with her father and getting ready to celebrate his upcoming wedding. Her father's ex best friend is invited as a way to test his soon to be bride to see if she will remain faithful to him.

Brett used to be a playboy and close friends with Cora's father Dylan until something in their past broke them apart and they haven't spoken in years.

Brett isn't the one involved in Dylan's soon to be wife breaking her fidelity, but it leads to Cora and Brett being together alone in the family cabin.

Spice ensues and a HEA takes place.

Some of the plot for me seemed rushed and out of left field. There was really no mention of Cora being a little and then coloring supplies and stuffies are mentioned. It made it harder to believe.

This book about Cora and Brett hands down is now one of my favorite books. Cora reminds me much of myself, even as a plus size curvy girl. Even though the age gap is quite steep, he makes her feel like a queen. It was quick to catch my attention, somewhat of a slower burn in my opinion but it was worth every word on the page. The dual POV makes this spicy romance that much more enjoyable.

I read this in one sitting and loved this story so much. It was hot, it was beautiful, and it was a fun read. The way that Brett loved Cora and her body was MY FAVORITE THING and it made my heart sing! Oof…so so good! The daddy kink, praise, plus size heroine, silver fox hero, dads ex best friend, age gap—everything I love🥰 it’s a quick fun read and I definitely recommend.

Yeah. This book was not great. I try to be a bit lenient when reviewing a short story type of book, as it’s hard to really get to know characters. But this book was all over the place. There is some beef between Brett and the dad. There was apparently some beef between dad and mom where Cora mentions dad gave up on them, yet she’s still there taking care of him. Random Barbie girlfriend engagement and she’s caught with Cora boyfriend. So a trip to a cabin, in which Brett follows because he decided she’s what he wants now that she’s a woman. So he disables her car and has it towed so she can’t leave (no red flags here folks, apparently he’s just doing what’s best for her). And let’s be honest, she doesn’t put up a fight. Just lets him run all over her. Then he DRUGS her and supposedly gives oral that she orgasms while DRUGED. And then she gives up her V card after going on about how special is should be. Then after one night they go home and tell her dad she’s going with him, and some BS about not wanting their friendship to be like their dads and it’s all happy town. The sex scenes weren’t even that great to make this book worth it and the whole daddy and little girl relationship was more olderish guy with a teenager play acting.

This novella is part of the Filthy Dirty Desires multi author series. For some reason, I just did not connect with these characters. It’s a short, fast paced novella I know, but the story had no depth and very little substance. Cora, our 19 year old, very immature heroine discovers her long term boyfriend in a very compromising position with her soon to be stepmum. She is devastated but still jumps into bed the following day with Brett, her dad’s ex-best friend who she professes to hate.

It’s a very quick, extreme age gap, instalove novella - usually I love this genre but this one I found to be very shallow and rushed with yawning gaps in the storyline. Usually I love this author’s stories but this one is not for me I’m afraid.

Hot and dirty with Daddy! Curvy young woman, Cora (h19), and her Dad's best friend, Brett are instantly attracted to one another when he returns after a four-year absence. Brett is a powerful Alpha type male in their relationship with DDlg, spanking, dirty talk, and even dirtier action. Lots of hot and steamy action, though some may be troubled when he sedates her to perform oral sex on her and his stalkerish actions, including tampering with her car so that she will have to rely on him. Dirty action, but I'm not necessarily sure there was enough between the characters to convince me it's love.

Tried a new author....my bad.

This is my first, and last, book by this author. The so called H drugs the h so he can have "uninterrupted" time with her body. Sceevy much? Ridiculous plot. ..characters TSTL...and the final insult is having to sign up for her email list before you get to read the epilogue. I finished the book, hoping it would get better. It didn't, so I deleted it from my kindle.

I did not care for this book. There was no flow to the storyline. The chapters read like plucked excerpts, jumping from one to another. Age-gap Daddy little story with some questionable actions.

This was a difficult story for me to rate and review. I liked this story for the most part although I had a major issue with some of Brett’s actions at the cabin.

Brett chose to drug Cora with a heavy sedative. That meant that he had to plan to drug her in order to have them available for him to use. Brett drugged Cora and then took liberties with her body without her permission. I don’t know how he justified his actions to himself and he didn’t explain them to Cora. Despite her letting him know that she knew that he did something to her, they didn’t discuss it. The entire scenario was wrong on so many levels that I had to stop reading for a bit to decide whether or not to proceed with the book.

With the exception of what happened above, the story was entertaining and enjoyable. The characters were interesting and likable with a few exceptions. There was drama, betrayal, age-gap, daddy’s best friend, and more. It’s a Daddy and little story as well. The story ended pretty abruptly for me. I would have liked a more definitive happily ever after. I did download the epilogue that was offered and it wrapped some things up nicely. I recommend reading this book for yourself and deciding for yourself about how it makes you feel.

Forbidden Romance | Age gap | Virgin | Daddy.

Like, I don't know how to start this one... It was a quick read but a decent one. I was expecting more sex scenes, but the ones narrated were fine.

About Brett... Jezzz, definitely has problems like really, but from what I got, "The end justifies the means." right?

I like the way he praises her body. It's amazing, and really sweet of him, it reminded me of my book boyfriend, how he praises his lover in Losing Control by Nina Croft book.

For me, the age gap it's not that much, maybe because I'm into older guys too (hahahah). Cora is a 19 y/o with curves. I love that, and the book cover she's also a black girl, another amazing point.

The thing I miss in this erotic tale was more connection between them than just primal desire, yet I could understand how raw and fiercely things scale when we desire someone so bad.

My favorite and 'what the heck part" is the eating!

I don't buy their guilty tho hahaha! and the rest of the small plot is irrelevant! One sitting and you're done with a quick hot and raw erotic tale!

After years of not speaking to his ex-best friend, Cora's father invites Brett (Male Lead) to his engagement party to use him as a fidelity test of sorts for his fiancé. This however does not turn out as expected both for him and Cora (Female Lead). Here we meet Daddy Brett who right of the bat experiences this intense connection with Cora but as with any age-gap, taboo, father's best friend romance there is hesitation from both parties. This hesitation is short lived and we quickly get into the action.

Did I read this book twice? Yes I did. It was a steamy quick read which left me wanting more. Natalie absolutely killed this book. The part of me which has a daddy kink was definitely satisfied. We all definitely need a Daddy Brett in our lives. All I have to say is the cabin scenes absolutely killed me. Every time Brett commanded his baby girl lets just say I wanted to switch places with Cora, this man had me in an absolute chokehold.

hero should be villain

I read a lot of mafia, best friends, daddy, age gap etc books so I know a lot of books have gray areas but this author crossed a line and needs to be called out-for it. Cora the MFC is 19 and the hero much older but he is only one step above pedophile he not only stalked her , he disabled her car and took her to the cabin with the intention to drug her and sexually abuse her. Brett aka the MMC sedates Cora with a glass of hot milk then has oral sex with her and thinks to himself that he has to hurry because the drug works differently with different people. That proves he does this often to woman. That is just not acceptable at all in any context and not for the hero. The only reason I finished the book was to see if there would be consequences for Brett but it was as if it was acceptable behavior and it was even joked about him messing with her car kidnapping her. I hope other people realize this was inappropriate. I will not recommend this book or author to anyone.

Cora's nineteen with a boyfriend she's saving herself for. Her father is recently engaged, but wants to make sure his fiancee is faithful and decides to invite his old playboy friend, Brett, over to test hee. Unfortunately for Cora and her father, their partners decided to get with each other, and now Cora is left single. That is until a trip to her cabin with Brett changes everything.

I actually loved the steam the author put into this book. It was perfect and gave you everything you want in a DD/lg romance. Normally I don't care for these as much, but I loved the authors writing and the way she approached everything.

The reason for the three stars is everything was so sporadic after the beginning. Why was Cora all of a sudden OK with Brett? They didn't discuss their dynamic or if that's what Cora wanted, and the whole telling her father scene was too easy. The author could have spent a little more time on these scenes and made the book much better.

I had issues with this book

First, she was very immature & I didn't really like Cora all that much. I had issues with the way she was heartbroken over her cheating, long term boyfriend but was kissing Brett moments after. She fled to the cabin to get away from her heartbreak but the very next day she was in love with Brett. My main issue was the sexual assault of teenage girl who had unknowingly been drugged. He didn't rape her but he did violate her & making it so she was pretending to be asleep doesn't change the actuality of that's what happened. He admits to drugging her so he can explore her body & then does sexual things to her while he thinks she's out from the drugs he put in her warm milk. I had an issue with that - a major one. Pretending to be unconscious doing change his intent.

Natalie Knight really knows how to write forbidden taboo romances. This father’s best friend romance is very forbidden and very steamy. When Cora finds out her boyfriend is cheating, she needs to get out of town. Brett isn’t about to let her go by herself. It’s time to convince her that what she really needs is a man. Tons of steam between these two including a dubcon scene (a warning in case that’s a hard pass for a reader). Brett becomes obsessed with his attraction to Cora and Cora definitely open to exploring that attraction. The book has a great ending. I’m hoping Cora’s dad gets a story, and that we see more from Brett and Cora in supporting roles because I really liked them together.

At the Cabin.
Great story. Cora gets caught in the crossfire of her father’s test on his girlfriend. Fidelity test no less. It was meant to involve his friend, Brett. He had his eyes on Cora and not anyone else. Afterwards, she makes her escape to the cabin only to find that Brett followed her. He has no intentions of leaving her alone and every one of claiming her as his own. When reality rear’s it’s head he won’t leave without Cora and that means confronting her father. Want to know how that goes? Read on and see.

A quick short easy steamy daddy romance. Brett visits his friend Dylan again after a long time and is impressed with Dylan's daughter Cora. Dylan had invited Brett for a purpose, which was not to run off with his daughter, but that’s what’s happens.
A daddy romance can be entertaining, but I don't particularly like this one. It's a bit of a messy writing style, the characters don’t appeal to me and I don't think the story is very logical. A story should have more content than just the steamy scenes, and in this case it doesn’t work for me. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

For Brett it was love at first sight. He wanted to be Cora’s daddy! There was some stalking and dub-con that made this darker than I usually read. It was fast paced but I felt I’d somehow missed something, it felt a little rushed. The story was hot and steamy with fantastic chemistry. The HEA and epilogue were amazing! . This one was interesting. I have not read this author before so I was not familiar with the writing style. I have been loving this Filthy Dirty series so I figured I would give this one a chance. It was okay. Cora is a young girl that brings her boyfriend to a party her father is hosting. Things go sideways big time and her fathers friend Brett steps in to help her.
