A beautifully poetic diary of our County Down landscape- reminding me to look up and around, appreciate the small things God has blessed us with and be thankful for the beautiful country we so often take for granted. Thank you Maggie Doyle for a truly special that reminds us of our nature.

What a sweet, gentle and exquisitely produced book this is. Written during a time to forget with moments of beauty to remember. Set in a part of the Mournes I've never been to, but now want to explore and to maybe catch a glimpse of those Red Kites.

This is a really interesting book focusing on wildlife and also the pandemic. I like the fact that it was adapted from diary notes as it felt very authentic, the photography was absolutely stunning and a great accompaniment to the text. This is a very different book and I’ve not come across anything like it before!
