Nemesis

A great second book. Ulka or Invincika's adventures continue. Even in a new universe her nemesis has followed her, and if is not who you would think.

Since the last book Ulka has been injures snd lost her memory, however her enemies will stop at nothing to destroy her. Luckily or as fate would have it she has also made many new allies and some old friends as well.

I have always preferred the less powerful or non powered heroes and heroines. As for me that fact that they can be injured, killed or maimed yest still fight for what they belive in shows real courage. In this book Ulka is helped by Ruby. The Batgirl to Ulka's Superwoman. I also like that Ulka has to face her own mortality a number of times as well but keep going.

This book is very action packed, but there is some character development and glimpses into Ulka's past. There are also many moral questions asked and the dilemma of power as well. Does having incredible powers also make you judge jury and executioner?

An awesome continuation of the story and a final reckoning to come. However as this story takes place over the Multiverse there are endless possibilities to the way the story can continue. I look forward to all scenarios.

I received a review copy against a honest review. Firstly, I would like to thank the author, Varun for entrusting me with a review and giving me a copy.
This is the sequel of Invincika – Super heros of multiverse #1, I did not happen to read the first book, but I sure liked the second one, the Serpent’s Reign - Super heros of multiverse #2.
Ulka is a super hero, who seems to have lost her past memories, she has come to Earth, from The Earth of another galaxy. The Serpent Man, Danish Naag (DN) is opponent of Ulka in this series, DN is a very fears man but fears of Rakra, the master of DN. They both plan to take over the planet in the disguise of friendship. DN wants to kill Ulka, as part of his plan to conquer the planet, as she is one of the multiverse saviours.
The story takes some interesting turns where Ulka meets the other saviours of planets and back stabs too. Over all the book was interesting read, I am planning to read the first book to get more context for the series. Sure will be looking up for the next book. A good Sci-fi book to read, I am not too much into Sci-fi but I did like the book, took a bit longer for me to complete the book.

We will give it around 8 to 8.5 stars out of 10. The stars above are rounded off.

Varun's books are always delight to read.

This book starts from the point where it stopped in the previous instalment of the series - Invincika.
Escaped from the clutches of death, Ulka is now on the planet Earth of another multiverse. Her landing in Mumbai didn't go unnoticed. But, are the onlookers only good fellows or even deadlier enemies are lurking for her, here as well?

We come to know about DN, a ruthless business giant who get what he wants to. No matter what! And, you cannot say no to him, for the sake of your and your family's life. But, that seems to be a regular villain who can be nobody for a superhero like Ulka?

The things are not that simple. The situation gets so worse that even a group of superheroes may not be able to take on them easily! Will they overpower them?

The book is a good read for various reasons, including but not limited to:
*) Strong Characters
*) Logically and Scientifically explainable fantasies
*) Thrilling incidents
*) Spiritual aspects
*) Canvas of the story
and more.

The book has so many quotable lines and phrases that remain with you, even after you complete reading the book.

We have quoted them on our detailed review article. You can read it on our website.

Serpent's Reign: Superheroes of Multiverse #2 by Varun Sayal is a SciFi action book and is the second part of the "Superheroes of Multiverse" series. It starts where the first book ends.

This review will be spoiler free and won't contain any spoilers from the first book too.

We have Ulka, aka Invincika, fighting new battles with more powerful enemies and new friends.

There isn't much I can say about the plot without giving spoilers. But I can tell you that it was entertaining and pointed towards a much bigger threat that will be revealed in the next book.

Honestly, it took me some time to get into the story. Things moved a bit quickly and that left a few aspects of the story and characters under developed.

But as the story progressed, I was completely immersed in it. The battle scenes were the highlight of the story and one crucial scene also let a couple of characters from the first book make an appearance.

It was interesting how Ulka was still conflicted about her powers and wished that she wasn't so powerful.

Plot twists were sprinkled throughout the book and by the time I finished reading it, the characters had become dear to me.

Overall, if you are a fan of action and superheroes, you will love this series!

Oh Dear!!

I honestly tried to find something better to say about this second book. In all fairness, I am able to say that the basic storyline is a fair one.
Trying to overlook all the ridiculous mistakes has been impossible. And as with the first book, this was no better. Why would you not have this book proof read, or at the very least, have the publisher check it over.
I find it very difficult to put a positive vibe on something that has been destroyed by poor grammar, use of words in the wrong context and the nonsensical use of always stating room sizes. Why on earth would the reader want to know the dimensions of every damn room. Simply saying they were in a large room is sufficient.
Yes, you may accuse me of being picky. But read the book if you must, because I will not recommend such a farcical and badly written book.
Book three will not be on my purchase list. Reading books one and two was painfully more than enough. I just could not endure reading anymore from this author.

Thank you Varun for giving me this book in return for honest review. This is the second book in the super hero series of Invincika. In this book is ulka is thrown from earth (quartz) to earth ( dewius) which is our universe. And guess what mohita too is now in the same universe but here the antagonist is someone else who is Dansh Naag(DN). He is the serpent king who is a big business man and is behind ulka to kill her for some motive. May be author for this books idea from the Avengers series. Where all antagonists are just a pawn of the real antagonist Thanos same here the Asura king Rakra is the main antagonist in this series. Waiting for the third book. In this book Ulka is attacked again and again by DN how she survives and counters his attack is the book Serpent's Reign. There are few new super heros additional to the last book they are Teevra just like Flash. Ruby our own dark knight. Yagini from the previous book. They all combine together to face Serpent's wrath. Overall full actioned pack Goodreads...🙂

Wow another breath taking adventure story where our amazing superhero and her allies do their best to save the world they are now in. Ulka had lost all her memories in the last attack, but once she starts to remember who she really is, she is hell bent on continuing her job of saving the world. Ulka is a fantastic sigma 5 superhero, she is one of a kind, and her powers are insurmountable but her foe is very dangerous, he is known as DN and he is a serpent-man. Though DN uses his people through terror which he instils in them, he still answers to another higher up in the power chain, and he fears the one in command as much as his subordinates fear him. Rakra is the master behind DN, and he calls the shots aiming to use the sigma, so his people would come in as saviours and get accepted as friends, thus winning the planet without a war, or at least that was the plan, but he was not taking the sigmas seriously enough. When Ulka, Ruby, Teeva and Yagni got together they were a force to be reckoned with, and though they faced great dangers and had their lives on the line many a time they managed to defeat enemies such as Bua, Mohita, Narbali, Horez and others who kept coming from other universes across the parallel multiverse. There were many betrayals and great battle scenes but damn that ending! What a cliffhanger, after all the action this ending is so cruel on poor Ulka and on us the readers, and I cannot wait for book 3 in this amazing superhero sci-fi series.

After being banished from her world, Ulka ends up in a different world wounded and with a lost memory.

But this new world is also not safe for her and she needs to be a hero, savior of the world.

She is not alone in this world where she has to fight evil, she got trustworthy friends.

This book is full of action and fighting with battles going one after another.

Loved the vigilante.

The ending was very unexpected as well as sad.
Waiting patiently to the wrath of Ulka on her enemies in the 3rd book
