Sutton has a history with Logan. The last thing she wants is to have anything to do with him or is it. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This in no way affects my opinion of this book which I read and reviewed voluntarily.
A steamy story, read as part of the Seduce me in Spring anthology. I enjoyed the story about a misunderstanding between two former lovers. The odd bit for me was it seemed from the story as if Sutton was living in a different house to her brother when he was in town, and no real mention of her elderly chaperone at balls she seems to be moving about on her own. Despite the scandal I am surprised she has not married in the intervening 6 years, and is struggling for attention. She is apparently wealthy and attractive. Lastly my pet hate why is she called Sutton and he Logan? Please give them regency names. But I enjoyed it hence the 4 stars.
This is part of a series between authors called The Wallflower’s Guide to Becoming a Bride. This book is set around a book which helps Wallflower’s finding a husband. This was an enjoyable quick read, which I finished in one night. It is about having a second chance at love. I really loved Sutton and Logan and I am glad they cleared up everything to find their happiness. Tamara Gill is an excellent writer and I always enjoy her books. I received a copy of this book for my honest opinion.
This is a wonderful story of Sutton and Logan. They were in love and about to be married but our villain of the story comes between them. Can Sutton open her heart to Logan again even though she believes he is the one that orchestrated her ruin? Can Logan find it in his heart to forgive her? You’ll have to read the book and find out. really enjoyed it! Tamara always gives us a great book! R. K. Carulli
This second book in The Wallflowers Guide to Becoming a Bride series wad a captivating and well written second chance historical romance. A lie spread all throughout the ton, ruining a reputation. The characters were complex, determined, and strong-willed. Many years later, their chemistry could not be denied. In the end, the truth prevailed, and wrongs were set right. I enjoyed their strong passion and beautiful love. The ending was delightful. I highly recommend reading!
Friends to enemies, to happily ever after. A brazen agreement brings Sutton and Logan back together again, six years later but still with the same yearning and desire. I enjoyed their haphazard journey through scandal and misunderstanding and back to love.
A brazen agreement is an excellent title for this story. It proves that once a person embarks on trying to incur a change to their circumstances that there are consequences!
I really like the second chance trope in historical romances, but that was not it. It was just so repetitive! „Oh, how he broke her trust” or „after the thing that happened six years ago” - these sentences were almost on every single page. Yikes. There were no connection, no real conversation.
