A new generation of children love Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood , inspired by the classic series Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood !
In this Pre-Level 1 Ready-to-Read storybook, Daniel Tiger learns how to cope with his friend spending time with someone new!
Daniel wants to play with Prince Wednesday. But when Daniel asks him, Prince Wednesday tells Daniel he’s busy spending time with Jodi, and Daniel gets upset. Has he lost his friend? Teacher Harriet explains that even when friends play with someone new, they will still be friends with you!
I’m biased, but I don’t like books that are just rehashed episodes of a TV show already but my son likes Danel Tiger and is learning to read so we picked it up and I tried to have an open mind. This is labeled a Level 1 reader, but some of the words felt way too difficult for that level. My son got bored and frustrated in the middle of reading it.
Love Daniel Tiger books. This one addresses the nuances of friendship. Content is perfect for first graders going into second grade. Tea loved it because it was daniel tiger and text level was toddler friendly for a read aloud. Short and sweet but more text than a baby board book.
