Uma short story sobre o quão importante é a comunicação num casal. Neste caso é retratado um casal interracial que esteve separado seis meses devido ao racismo e que acabam por se encontrar novamente.

This was a very short story about understanding a partners needs. I love how no matter how long or short a story is Ash and Marcus always manage to teach a life lesson. Being in interracial relationships require more work than many people realize. This story highlights why that extra work is necessary.

I received this free eARC novel from the author. This is my honest review.

This story is not long at all, but man does it have a lot in here. I absolutely loved everything about this. Seeing these characters fight for what they believe in and to - eventually - communicate with one another about their feelings was so refreshing. All of A. M. Kusi's novels have real, painful truths that we face today, and to be able to connect with the characters makes reading their stories an amazing experience.

I love Cory and Brittany, and I love seeing them grow as a person to better themselves. I honestly wish we had more of their story, but I will have to be content with what this short story gives! So glad I got the chance to read this! Can't wait for more :)

Fight With Me, Book 3.5 of the Shattered Cove series by A.M. Kusi @amkusinovels.

This was a quick read at 40 pages. Brittany & Cory meet each other after being apart for 6 months. They communicate with each other to get through the issues that tore them apart. Racial stereotypes, police brutality against BIPOC, etc. I truly enjoyed this short story. 🥰
