Myth busting advice for women about money and wealth. Dr. Koo sprinkles diamonds and pearls of advice throughout to help us examine and debunk our own thoughts about work, productivity and our potential to earn as women. Designed for female physicians - this book has plenty to offer for any professional woman making her own way in the world.

Mindset

This book dives into perception that society teaches about women and money. It challenges deeply seeded beliefs about the morality of money, the way women use money, and our capacity to understand and build wealth. Dr. Koo offers practical and non judgemental action steps, suggestions, and questions to guide your thinking. This isn't a "how to do what I did" book so much as a change your thinking book so that you can do what you want to do.

Unfortunately mostly woo-woo fluff and obvious information. If you want a basic finance book read I Will Teach You To Be Rich. If you want a more advanced book read Quit Like a Millionaire. If you want coaching baloney, read the first half of this book. Feels like an ad email or an upsell. For pragmatic tips others have covered the ground better. Disappointing

I finished the audiobook, it was really interesting. This book encouraged me to consider having more side hustles than my regular “9-5” work.

Thought provoking and challenges "norms". Nice and short with lots to think about. I do not usually read a book twice but I may for this one.

Read this for my finance group. It provides a more risk tolerant approach to keeping debt and investing (instead of saving in traditional savings accounts).
