Loved the continuing story of Arc and Alba. It was nice to see them finally get to have their romance. It was also nice to see Alba's continuing protectivness over her sisters, but I also enjoyed seeing her sisters standing on their own. I loved, loved, loved Juliana and Keene's side story. I continue to be intrigued by the mysteries of the plot. Am looking forward to Book Three!

First thing I did when I finished book 2 was check and see if I could preorder the next book, BOOK 3. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

They are a Power Couple!!!!!!
📚I finished this book feeling pretty chuffed, that I decided to follow up & invest my time into this series.
❤️ I frankly 🤎 all the characters whether Good, Morally grey and even the Villainous are enjoyable and superbly written.
🧐I want to know how everyone will pull through.Im 🪝!
🎢 I really like the thriller style of book 1 and the continued action and suspense of book 2. Romance is addictive on these pages.
🪢The Twists and Turns A+
⚔️🤺 The action is 🍬 and ♨️ expect the men to possessive as hell and get all "touch her and you will die!!" and 🗡Ladies fight just as ardent and are just as dangerous and deal with tragedy as it evolves.
💋The Slowburn is really intimate and giving sensually and spicy. Its just dependant where characters have evolved to. So good its just right - best high fantasy spice I've read in awhile.
This book is satisfying with all the push and pull banter being generated by not just the main characters but by other emerging relationships. (Exciting)

📖 ☑️ Reader is getting everything in book 2!! Its a really giving rich read.
🏰 Worldbuilding provides the strength in understanding Versillius and Hunturius tensions inflaming future progression to possible peace and what people are prepared to do for coin.
🧘♂️🧘♀️Sisterhood & Brotherhood one of the things I cant get enough of in this book. As is good and the bad family dynamics, each character faces.
🕑 The looking back snippets were a readers delight, whether scene setting or love swoony setting.
😍This book very nicely weaves in golden bread crumbs of future emerging❤️ relationships insights in this for future storylines, has me hooked follow this series as it grows.
🔐🤫Secrets were unlocked from book 1 and then new ones appear having me page turn like crazy.
📃There is really pretty/poetic meaningful romantic lines said. That evoke feeling something solid in this book!! I hope one day these become audio books.

Dipped back into YA fantasy for a break and I enjoyed this second book more than the first one.
