McKenna Williams doesn’t like staying in one place. She has a restless soul, which has served her well for the last twenty-three years. Right now, her soul is taking a little pit stop in the town of Castleton, Maine, for the summer, and she’s enjoying the ocean breezes and friendly people. Plus, the house she’s staying in is right next door to her sister, Julia. She’s determined to let nothing mess up her zen, until she gets a request to teach a private yoga class for recent divorcee, Piper Patrick, and she’s hit with an instant attraction so intense, she can barely breathe. Piper is beyond off-limits: Not only is she McKenna’s client, she’s just ended her marriage, she has a son, and there's nearly a 10 year age gap between them. Everything about falling for Piper is a bad idea. The magnetic pull toward each other is undeniable, and McKenna knows that it can only end in heartbreak. Will she take a chance on the woman she can’t resist? Or will she cut and run to save herself from losing it all?

I liked 6th book , better than 5th story . But in the sixth there are a lot of snags in relation to the narrative of the story. In relation to the heroines and in relation to the reveals of Piper Patrick. However, reading with all these cons I felt euphoric, passionate and easy to read. And that is to say that the purpose of the book to interest readers succeeded.
This was a lighter read slow burn with an age gap. There was a kid that was not annoying and did not awkwardly pull the focus of the scenes.
There were also more callouts to different representations than in the other books of the series. While many were passing mentions, it did help to build the characters out a bit more.
The series itself is worth a try if you are looking for some cozier romances that highlight Maine living.
McKenna is home for an extended stay in Castleton, Maine. Shes a yoga instructor. Piper is a newly divorced, single motherof a 4 yr old boy. When she hires McKenna to give her private yoga lessons. The sparks fly! This is book 6 of the Castleton Hearts series. It's so Hot and heartfelt! 5 stars!
Out of all six of the books from this series, this one was the weirdest one for me. I can't say it's because it was bad because it wasn't but it was fast. Extremely fast.
Don't get me wrong, the other five books were pretty fast-paced but this one just seemed to go so quickly in comparison to the others from the way they were attracted to each other and even more so with the ending. I remember getting to the end and thinking to myself, huh?
Even when I think back on it now after a few days away from it, all of the other books had a sort of drama or angst to deal with, which is fine as long as it's not completely unnecessary but with this one, there wasn't any of that. None. That was very weird to me. I'm not saying I wanted drama for the sake of it but I was reading through this book and I got to like three chapters before the end and things were going smoothly and nothing had happened and I pulled up the chapter list to see how many were left and I thought no way are we near the end, nothing has happened!!
I feel like I should've been happy that things went smoothly and everyone had a happy ending, which was to be expected with this book anyway but I got to the end and I just felt disappointed really. Everything just happened so fast and even the intimate scenes with them weren't even that great for me, especially in comparison to what we've read in the previous five books. This one was average for me at best.
Saying all of that though, it's still not my least favourite book of the series but it does sit pretty low down in the list that's for sure.
BEFORE YOU READ THIS SERIES!!! - as long as you don’t mind a monotonous plot that hops from book to book and blatant typos carrying throughout all 8 books, then read this series. I liked the premise of the books and I did enjoy them. However the plots got a little stale as I went on. It’s like the author revamped the story and added different names in each book to make it a sequel. Not a bad series all in all. The typos really bugged me though, did anyone proof read these before publishing?
“‘What am I doing?’ Piper whispered just a moment before she reached for me, putting both hands on my face to bring it closer to hers before pressing her lips to mine. It wasn’t a timid kiss. In spite of her spoken uncertainty, her body told a different story. I gasped in surprise, but she didn’t pull back. Piper Patrick was actually kissing me. I didn’t know what to do with my hands, so I clenched them at my sides, wanting to touch her, but not wanting to spook her.”
24 year old McKenna Williams is in Castleton, Maine for the summer. She has no idea how long she’ll remain in place before her nomadic lifestyle calls her away once more. Her family is a few towns over and Sunday dinners are sheer madness. It feels good to sit still. Even if she won’t admit it out loud. When she takes on 33 year old Piper Patrick as a private client, she is forced to face things. Including being attracted to an unattainable woman.
I liked this one better than the last but would have preferred dual POV because it’s only half the story. Piper’s side seemed important not to share. The secondary characters keep growing so we’ll see how many are in the series.
Cliffhanger – no (book #6 in series) POV - McKenna
McKenna is a yoga instructor and likes to travel or so she thought until an inadvertently touch from a newly divorced mother Piper and things get turned around or was she the one turned around? A private yoga class taught to Piper and a sort of invasion from Piper's son Preston from school and things get even more confusing. Chelsea the author has created another page turner where not everything is settled. Enjoy!
I was worried because I thought that McKenna was not gonna have her live for Piper returned. Piper to me seemed uninterested at all in Kenna Julia's sister. I felt like There was no chemistry but was rather shocked when the kiss happened. Okay said too much maybe, and I need to say that I enjoyed this book 6of the series too! Especially the whole gang hanging out together doing yoga. ENJOY!!
McKenna Williams is a master yoga instructor with an online business. She’s back to visit her family. Piper Patrick is recently divorced and a single mother who works her marketing business from home. McKenna agrees to be her personal trainer and they grow closer immediately. A sweet romance with great laughs and friends.
McKenna was just there to see family and move on after a few months. When Piper wants private yoga lessons McKenna is in love. Piper just went through a divorce and has her son. A story of how one person gets what she wants and the other is the happiness she can be. A beautiful love story to read
If you're here I presume you read the previous books. Like all of the other books it's fun, it's tropey and the characters are great. It's a fun drama free romance and definitely worth your time.
This is another nice addition to the Castleton Hearts series with two new main characters and an ever-growing supporting cast. Consistent with earlier books the story arc has many cute moments, countless trips to the beach, and relatively little drama. A good read with the anticipated HEA.
I found the first half a little frustrating, there was barely any contact between the 2 MCs, but that picked up in the second half. A no frills, no angst romance that continues the Castleton series.
I've loved every book in this series and I can't wait for the next one. Preston is adorable. McKenna and Piper have really good chemistry. Glad there was hardly any angst . I seem to gravitate more towards books like that lately. Yay for the next one.
A beautiful romance between two beautiful characters. It's always refreshing to get a 'first time' perspective. They were both all in, unconditionally and it was really sweet to see.
I'm really enjoying this series so far and McKenna & Piper's story is a really enjoyable read. Slow burn, sexy & romantic with a HEA. What's not to love.
This series is lovely and the characters in this one in particular are relatable and kind, and nothing bad happens. It’s very soothing. NSFW warning, of course.
