Il-Hyun is absolutely insane—completely unhinged, balls to the wall crazy. The way he takes everything to the extreme when it comes to Jakyung, Obsessive doesn’t even begin to describe it. And honestly I freaking loved it. He’s a besotted fool who thinks MC is the sexiest man alive and would do anything to keep him by his side. And I mean anything. Beheading a guy just for leaving a hickey on MC’s neck? Yeah, killing him wasn’t enough, Il-Hyun had to take it a step further. Even MC, a professional assassin, was so shocked he didn’t know how to react. Oh, and let’s not forget that Il-Hyun literally tattooed his own name on MC’s body. The list of deranged things he’s done is so long I won’t even bother going through it all.

But here’s the thing,I find it all ridiculously funny rather than horrifying. He’s this terrifying, powerful mafia boss that everyone fears, yet the moment it comes to MC, he turns into a childish, lovesick mess. It’s embarrassing how in love he is. He just has no idea how to properly court someone, which makes it even funnier when he keeps making a fool of himself. AHHH but I adore him for it. A total psycho yandere, but the kind who would break down in tears if MC ever got seriously hurt. 😭😭😭😭 let me put him right next to Ilay Riegrow on my list of favorite red-flag MLs.

Now, as for the yakuza/mafia aspect of the plot, it’s kinda cliché, not gonna lie. I’d give it a solid 3 out of 5. But my love for the ML and MC is what really kept me hooked. I had so much fun reading this. Psycho seme + power bottom is my absolute favorite trope, and this story delivered exactly what I wanted. So, I’m giving it 5 stars purely for enjoyment. Don’t judge me 🥹😅😅
