The University honored her with their “Lantern Night Award”, a tradition developed to honor fifty outstanding women graduates each year. Exploring issues and concerns for women today is what first motivated her to write, and she has long been an enthusiastic and active supporter of women’s fiction, which she believes is an unbeatable way to reach out and support other women.
Jennifer lives in Michigan, just a short distance from Lake Michigan, with her husband Lar.

I really loved this book, mainly because the romance was just beautiful and so was everything, the kid Sammy and Cash who had their own boy team and then came Lexie, a total city girl, workaholic, who thought the only thing she was good in life for was making money.
I loved that Lexie was so clumsy, she lost her parents at three, actually witnessed it and was adopted by a wonderful family but she never felt she belonged, all of them had athletic abilities while she didn't.
Cash on the other hand is trying to run his retreat as well as provide Sammy his nephew who is more of a son a good life, after his mother just abandoned him.
They've always liked being by themselves then he notices that Sammy likes Lexie, he does too but he knows she belong in the city but somehow their lips keep getting glued and it's not just the physical connection but the emotional.
Lexie falls for him long before they actually act on it, she doesn't want to since she doesn't want to hurt Sammy and then Cash takes the full plunge and admits what he is feeling and vows to make any compromise possible to have Lexie in his life.

D1316 Sep00 Body & Soul #3 Cash McKay and Lexie Woolf fear has them in it's grip. Lexie has panic attacks and has come to Silver Mountain to get over them and the anxiety they cause. Cash is concerned for nephew Sammy, whose mother abandoned him, who has become his son. The story was complicated with the anxiety, the shifting relationship, and possibility of love, good story held my interest.
