Never Enough Cowboy is book four in the Creedence Horse Rescue series by Jennie Marts. I loved the first three books in this series but this one had gotten by me. Now that I’ve finally read it, I think it’s my new favorite of the series. This book was so sweet, so much fun with all the crazy rescue animals, and was so so so swoony. I cannot wait for you to meet this sexy, wonderful cowboy.

Deputy Ethan Rayburn loves living and working in Creedence. He is even running for Sheriff which has been a dream of his. Ethan isn’t looking for a relationship. He was hurt badly years before and hasn’t been interested in dating since. But then he met the new head librarian in town and everything changed. All he has to do is convince her to go out with him which is turning out to be a bit of a challenge.

Jillian Bennett moved to Creedence from California to be near her sister and to give her ten year old son, Milo, a better life. The job as head librarian is a dream job for her. Her life is full with the new job, being a single mom, and adjusting to her new life. She has no interest in dating. But ever since she met Ethan, she’s found herself daydreaming about the sexy deputy. And whenever they see each other, there has definitely been some flirting involved. Then, when Ethan gets called to help with a big horse rescue, Jillian goes along to help and they are able to get to know each other even better.

Jillian has been volunteering at the Heaven Can Wait horse rescue ranch, the owner being one of her closest friends. The menagerie of animals they have there is comical, from pigs that think they are dogs, ornery goats, and tiny miniature horses, plus an assortment of cats and dogs of course, life is never dull there. I smiled so much at the antics of these crazy animals. The hearts of these rescuers that take in the animals overwhelms me. They never turn their backs on an animal in need.

Jillian has secrets, things she never wanted known, things that she’s sure could hurt Ethan’s race for Sheriff. But her heart has other ideas. And Ethan, oh my goodness. This man is about the swooniest cowboy I’ve ever read. He just wears his heart on his sleeve. And the ending made my eyes water. So pack your bags and head to Creedence. Get ready to giggle at the quirky residents like Aunt Sassy, and all the crazy animals. But mostly, get ready to sigh, to swoon, and to fall in love with Ethan and Jillian. The next book in the series is Jillian’s sister, Carley’s book, book five, Every Bit a Cowboy. I can’t wait to read it.

This is a Cowboy Romance, and this is the fourth book in the Creedence Horse Rescue series. The beginning of this book was just everything, and of course the pig and goat showed up right in the beginning. I love those two crazy animals. I love all the characters in this series including the fun animals. The romance in this book is so cute, and there is a new little horse in this book that steals the whole show. I really loved this book so much. I was kindly provided an e-copy of this book by the publisher (Sourcebooks Casablanca) or author (Jennie Marts) via NetGalley, so I can give an honest review about how I feel about this book. I want to send a big Thank you to them for that.

Never Enough Cowboy was heartwarming, touching, and an instant favorite!  This book had me constantly laughing and I loved being back in this world.  It truly felt like coming home.  But keep those tissues nearby, because this one pulled on my heart more times than I can count.  If you love small town romances, or country romances, definitely make for sure this book is on your tbr!
“It’s okay for you to fall,” he said, his voice a husky whisper. “I promise I’ll catch you.”

Jillian Bennett was new to town, a librarian, and a single mom.  She was quirky and I loved her for it, especially her ridiculous underwear lol!  Through mutual acquaintances, Jillian found herself running into Ethan Rayburn time and again.  He was a deputy and was completely smitten by Jillian.  Yet, Jillian was focused and had a lot on her plate.  She didn't feel as though she had time to date, even if Ethan clicked so easily with her son, Milo.  Ethan was determined to knock down Jillian's walls and find a way into her heart.  And his path to that was beyond adorable and steamy too!
Tilting her face up to his, she looked into his gorgeous blue eyes and saw such tenderness there, it hurt her chest. Emotion burned the back of her throat, and she feared she might start crying again. “I could really fall for you, you know?”
His lips curved into a roguish grin. “That’s what I’m hoping for.”

I absolutely loved Ethan!  I loved that he knew what he wanted in life and went after it.  From the first moment he met Jillian, he just knew she was for him.  And that man did not have a subtle bone in his body about wanting Jillian lol!  Ethan was kind, patient, sexy, romantic, hilarious and so sweet.  Yet he could also be tough as nails and a force to be reckoned with.  So I loved his softer moments with Jillian and her son.  He was so thoughtful and I loved the lengths he went to, to try and win Jillian over.  But I was so nervous for him.  Would Jillian open up and let him in?
“I’ll just look around then, maybe check out a book or two, while I wait.” He leaned forward, lowering his voice further. “Got any recommendations for books about romance? I’m kind of interested in this woman, and I feel like I need to up my game with her.”
She pressed her lips together to keep a giggle from escaping.

Jillian and Ethan had such an emotional path.  Their old fears and pasts crept in.  Mistakes were made.  And there were scenes that pulled at my heart and made me cry all the tears.  Not only for Jillian and Ethan, but for the animals too as we watched them work towards their HEAs also.  But don't worry because there was lots of joy, and I had so many happy tears too!  So many of our favorites are back, humans and animals.  I loved Otis the goat and Aunt Sassy and her meddling.  I laughed so hard, I don't even know how many times, that I had tears streaming down my face and was gasping for breath!   And watching Ethan and Jillian's son Milo together made my heart burst with joy!  Ohh plus this book had a surprise that I'm not saying a word about other then I LOVED how it affected the story!
“Darlin’, haven’t you figured out by now that it doesn’t matter if you’re wearing my hat, your superhero undies, a down parka, or nothing at all, I am completely at your mercy.”

Why is this series not a tv show?!?!  I would binge it again and again, just like I still do with Friends! Never Enough Cowboy was fun, flirty and heartwarming! With friendship and love, this story was so much fun! I was completely swept away and I think romance lovers will feel the same way too! And now I'm dying to know, are Knox and Carly the next book? *fingers crossed!*

4.25⭐

Never Enough Cowboy is a feel good Western Romance full of both likable, relatable characters and quirky animals including a flower wearing pig and it left me with a huge grin on my face.

As single mum Jillian and her ten-year-old son Milo are wooed by local sheriffs deputy Ethan. But Jillian is determined not to let anyone close until Milo is in college.

However, Ethan and a hungry goat have other ideas. Yet, both of these characters have issues to overcome if they are to be together.

And with relatable situations, wonderful secondary characters, humour, sweetness and great pacing. This really was the light hearted read I was looking for and it's one I'd happily recommend to others.

**Thanks Sourcebooks Casablanca for the opportunity to read Never Enough Cowboy**

Have you read a book where you feel you're witnessing events unfold,
Getting involved as the story is told?
For me, this is one of those fantastic, unputdownable reads
Great plot, romance and all a fabulous story needs.

Set around the Creedence Horse Rescue
Librarian single Mom Jillian Bennett has so much to do.
Her son, Milo, is delightful and super smart as well
A prolific reader and animal lover, as you can soon tell.

An urgent call for help to horse rescues is the start
What they find when they get there will break your heart,
But this is the start of a heartwarming romance
If only the two will give the other just a chance!

Deputy Sheriff Ethan Rayburn is smitten from the go
Only Jillian, it seems, is the only one not to know!
His proposals repeated and usually ignored but still
He keeps on being there for her and says he always will.

With a precocious goat who gets up to different tricks,
A horse that thinks it is a dog and a house pig add to the mix.
Along with Sassy who is determined to do no wrong
But usually won't use her glasses so makes mistakes all along!

This story is packed with humour, desire and romance, too,
As two folks who've suffered betrayal at last find love that's true
But both don't dare trust their hearts even though they discover
An irresistible attraction to one another.

I didn't want to put it down until I reached the end
So have no problem at all this read to most highly recommend!
For my complementary copy, I say thank you,
As I share with you this, my honest review.

Kicking off with a memorable meet-cute involving a goat, a ladder, superhero underwear, and a not-damsel in distress, Jennie Marts’ Never Enough Cowboy is warmth and happiness in book form.

This is the fourth book in the Creedence Horse Rescue series, and honestly, it’s just so damn likable, I almost don’t know what else to say about it. The characters—all of them, from book one’s Zane and Bryn to Ethan and Jillian in this latest release—are friendly, good people who care about animals and each other, and who you can’t help but imagine being friends with. That goodness permeates the pages of Never Enough Cowboy, which made reading it a delight. I know I couldn’t wait to get back to it whenever I had to step away, and I was almost sorry to reach the end, knowing that it’ll be a while before I'm back in this cute Colorado town where the folks are as kind as they are funny (and good-looking LOL).

After first encountering Jillian and Ethan in How to Cowboy, where Ethan was adorably tongue-tied and Jillian outfitted in her signature funky bookish tee, it was easy to fall into their very sweet, mostly drama-free romance. Where there a few small bumps in the road? Sure, Jillian was kind of all over the place (frustratingly so, at times), and there was that thing with the guy and the horse (no more said about that because *spoilers*), but if you’re considering picking this one up, know that you’re looking at a low angst, fluffy, heartfelt reading experience.

Which, honestly, is just the kind of thing I want and need in my books. I’m looking forward to my next visit to Creedence, especially after Jillian’s sister and Ethan’s coworker had their own memorable moment, because there is Never Enough Cowboy for me 🥁.

Jillian's a single mom who isn't looking for love or a relationship because she's got the only relationship that she needs or wants - with her son Milo. But sheriff deputy Ethan is determined to change her mind. With the help of some adorable animals, a few "helpful" friends and family, and even a whole small town, Jillian and Milo just may find themselves with a new man in their lives.

I loved this story! Jillian, Milo and Ethan are all just so likable and relatable. Jillian's the best mom, living for her son and trying to give him the best life possible, Milo in turn only wants the same for his mom, and Ethan, oh Ethan....talk about a sweetheart. I haven't read any of the other stories in this series, but after having fallen for the entire gang in this story, I will definitely be going back for the previous ones, and any new to come.

Never Enough Cowboy, the fourth book in the Creedence Horse Rescue series by Jennie Marts is an endearing, feel good romance that’ll literally leave you smiling…the authentically relatable characters will capture your heart from the onset of Ethan and Jillian’s story.

The Creedence Horse Rescue Ranch series continues, with beloved characters from the preceding stories continuing their own journeys, and with more quirky characters (two and four legged alike)…you just never know when you’ll find a flower wearing pig making herself at home on the living room couch watching television.

This has been a truly enjoyable series, I can only hope there are more stories to come.

Jillian Bennett helps as a volunteer at the horse rescue but she didn't expect one of the animals to run off with a piece of her attire leaving her up in a loft and no way to get down. To her embarrassment, her crush shows up, Deputy Ethan Rayburn, rescues her and then leaves the two of them trying to explain that it's not what it looks like to Bryn and Zane, who arrive back home to find Ethan announcing that he retrieved the missing article of clothing.

Ethan and Jillian have been flirting with one another since Jillian arrived, and Jillian keeps declining Ethan's offers of dinner. She's content with her new job and raising her 10-year-old son, Milo. Jillian feels her past overshadows her and thinks Ethan, once he learns won't want anything to do with her. She also feels her past could ruin his chances for his dream. Ethan isn't going to give up!

Ethan and Jillian go to help rescue horses, and after seeing Jillian turn into a mama bear, Ethan asks her to marry him. He's got to be joking right?

When Jillian decides to share her tale of whoa with Ethan, she is surprised that Ethan doesn't run and starts to think that maybe they could have something good.

All is well until Ethan feels that he was being taken advantage of all over again, and nothing Jillian has to say will sway how Ethan feels. It will take another librarian to save the day!

This was an enjoyable read with lots of laugh out loud moments! The animals are a hoot, especially Otis, but I loved Aunt Sassy and Amos, who as side characters both had a lot of endearing qualities. Wonderful series!

I requested and received an ARC from NetGalley via Sourcebooks Casablanca and I have voluntarily reviewed this book.

Lovely rom-com with terrific characters

First thing you notice about this book is that it's going to include a lot of hijinks with farm animals, and I loved every bit of it. The ornery goat, the horse/dog, the teddy bear doodle, even the pig was a delightful addition to the cast. The second thing is that it's clear from the start that Jillian and Ethan are already half in love with each other. The problems lie in her believing she's not good enough for him due to her past choices and his reluctance to trust her when things get a bit sticky.

Throughout the story we get horse rescues, bookmobile deliveries, a wonderfully nostalgic look at love in a past generation, a beloved community member honored, an attempted horse theft, and all the Taco Tuesday girl power parties a gal could hope for. I loved getting to see Elle, Bryn, and Nora again, and the always feisty Aunt Sassy is back in fine form. The twist with Amos was a genius move that I didn't see coming.

The romance was quick to blossom but slow to settle into some security. Many, many proposals were needed along the way before everything fell into place, but the final one was absolutely perfect and I thought it was brilliantly executed, giving us a very satisfying HEA. I do hope there is a Book 5 for a certain hairdresser and deputy.

If you like cowboy romances with a love for animals and a dash of whimsy, you owe it to yourself to pick up every one of the books in this series. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

This book continues where the last one left off. Jillian Bennett is the new town librarian. She is a single mom, whose ex is in prison. She came to Creedence to join her sister, Carley, who owns the local hair salon. Deputy, cowboy and ranch owner, Ethan Rayburn is attracted to her the first time he sees her. They both have trust issues, but he sees a future with her and her son, Milo. She however, is just afraid, of a relationship and damaging Ethan's chances in his campaign for Sheriff.

Wonderful characters, both human and hilarious farm animals, with playful banter and lots of ups and downs in their romance. However, I found the end a bit hokey.

I read an ARC provided by the Publisher via NetGalley.com. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.

Never Enough Cowboy is so much fun to read! The story goes back and forth with great chemistry, many reasons not to be together (Jillian), and a patient Ethan just waiting for her to figure out what he's known from the beginning. There are many sweet parts to the story, and I loved Milo and all his entourage!

This is the 4th installment of Mart's Creedence, Colorado, cowboy romances and it definitely delivers. Jillian is a single mom working to create a new and stable life for herself and her son. Ethan is the handsome deputy her son makes friends with. Jillian would like to keep her distance from any possible relationship but there's some natural chemistry between the two that's hard to deny.

As with all books in this series, once you meet the characters you'll have a hard time putting the book down. It's charming and compelling and bound to leave you with a smile. Definitely check it out!

This was a really cute addition to an already great Creedence Horse Rescue series. It's hard to go wrong when you combine a sexy cowboy deputy, a sassy librarian, a cute kid and hilariously adorable animals.

Deputy Ethan Rayburn was pretty much the perfect male character. He was funny, cute, protective, adorably shy at times and a great guy to go with the charming personality. I loved how he was with Milo, Jillian's young son. And I loved that he didn't judge Jillian based on her past. His proposals popping out were too cute. Did I mention he was cute?

Jillian was a strong and determined single mother. She was the town's head librarian and after a rough start to her 20s, she's determined not to let her checkered past take away her newfound life in Creedence. I admired her a lot for her dedication to her job and her son. At times the brakes she kept putting on when Ethan tried to convince her to give him a chance were a bit annoying. It became repetitive. But in the end she relents and gives in to his wooing.

The ending was cute and unique. Way to go Ethan! I look forward to more from the series, maybe with a certain hairdresser and deputy?

Never Enough Cowboy by Jennie Marts gives the reader one resistible deputy cowboy, Ethan Rayburn. Whether he s flirty or blushing he is a cowboy to love. Have no idea how Jillian Bennett managed not to fall for him as long as she did. A story full of humor, hope and some heat but all heart.

One great Creedence, Colorado book with a smart librarian, her cute ten year old son, a white hat cowboy, rescue horses, a crazy goat, and a pig too. This is feel good romance reading at its best. Definitely swoon worthy. A second chance romance not to be missed.

An ARC of the book was provided by the publisher through NetGalley which I voluntarily chose to read and reviewed. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Jillian is new to town, single mom new head librarian. Ethan is deputy sheriff planning to run for sheriff this year. They have been eyeing each other for a while. Ethan comes to the horse rescue asking for help to rescue horses from an abusive racetrack. There is a lot of cute animals in this one with Jillian's son Milo being a big part of the story. Jillian thinks she should stay away from Ethan, and he thinks they need to get married ASAP! I just loved this story and if you love animals and sweet hot reads this is it! #NetGalley

"Swill it and spill it" Girls Night!

Never Enough Cowboy by Jennie Marts is the fourth book in the Creedence Horse Rescue series. This has been a truly delightful read! I love the characters in this series and it has been great to see so many of them from the previous books in the series. The three main characters in this story, Ethan Rayborn, Jillian Bennett and her son Milo are what made this story so great. Also the animals in the story have made this a really fun read, the dogs, the goat, the pig and the miniature horse add levity with their antics. I found this story to be well-written and the pacing is great. I really like Ms. Marts' voice and I look forward to more stories in this series.

I received an ARC and this is my honest review.

What do you do when the cowboy/sheriff that you've been flirting with for the past few weeks asks you to marry you? Well, if I was Jillian, I would've accepted the first time. Add Ethan Rayburn to the top of my "book boyfriends" list.

Jillian is a single mom who has just moved to a small ranch town to be with her sister and volunteer at a horse rescue. Ethan Rayburn is the town sheriff who fell for Jillian the moment he met her. Worried about her past catching up to her, Jillian tries to deny Ethan's advances. With a ten year old son (who is adorable) and a new job, Jillian worries that a whirlwind romance will cast a negative light on both her and Ethan, especially as he gears up for a local town election. Jillian is a stronger woman than I am, because when Ethan pulled out the sugar cube, reminding me of Finnick from the Hunger Games only steamier, I was sold.

Their friendship and the way that they cared for one another really shined. You know on sitcoms when the writers set up two characters that you know are going to fall in love but you're going to have to wait for the next season for them to give in to temptation? Never Enough Cowboy is like that, except it drops you right in the beginning of that new season. These characters have an affectionate relationship with each other from the get go, and it is really beautiful to watch as their relationship evolves and develops as they get to know each other better.

This book has the perfect level of spice for a newer romance reader. It's steamy without being too spicy. Most intimate moments could be considered "fade to black," but I was never left feeling like I was cheated out of a moment. Ethan is so swoon worthy. I'm obsessed with any man that falls first and gets tongue tied around a woman, but isn't weak. Like the Rayburn men like to say, when you know, you know.

The book also features a fun cast of side/background characters, so if those are your favorite kinds of books (they definitely are mine) then you need to get into this series now! This is the first book I've read by Marts, but I. AM. HOOKED. I can't wait to go and binge this series from the beginning and follow with them to the future. (Maybe a Carley and Knox book?*wink* *wink*)

This story is sugary sweet. I was cranky any time I had to put it down to get any actual work done. Looking forward to all this author has coming in the future!

I loved this book! It is funny, charming and very entertaining with easy to love characters, a menagerie of animals that will both induce laughter and warm your heart, and a wonderful storyline. What’s not to love about a guy who loves animals and kids, serves his community, has a soft spot for the elderly and knows how to flirt? Throw in the fact that Ethan is tall, muscular and handsome as well as a lover of books and he seems like the perfect guy for the town’s new librarian. Jillian is the single mom of a ten year old son who is far too smart and charming for his age. She moved to town to be close to her sister and to take the job as head librarian while the current one gets ready to retire. Jillian never expected the handsome Deputy Sheriff, Ethan, to even look her way, but his flirting certainly stirs her up. After he rescues her from an encounter with a cantankerous goat, she goes with him on a mission of mercy. Being around Ethan is wonderful and easy, but Jillian has been hurt before and right now her new job and her son are her priorities. Their friends nudge them together and they find it impossible to resist each other. Despite past heartbreak and betrayal, Ethan is ready to move forward with Jillian and her son Miles. Seeing Ethan’s rapport with Miles settles a lot of her fears, but her past could cast a shadow on his campaign to be Sheriff, and Jillian believes that she needs to distance herself from him. Will they get a chance at a happily ever after? The animals, their friends and their family certainly think they should take the chance! They just have to let go of the doubts, insecurities and fears and take the leap.

This book evoked gales of laughter, a few tears and a few groans of frustration. Upon completion, I was left with a huge smile on my face and an urge to read the book all over again. I received an ARC of this book via NetGalley and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

We are back in Creedence where the cowboys are handsome and sometimes stubborn, and the women they love are strong and independent.
This latest addition to the series belongs to Deputy Sheriff Ethan Rayburn and the town’s new librarian, Jillian Bennett.
She and her son Milo moved to Creedence to be close to her sister and to leave her past behind. A past she regrets except for her son. She is attracted to Ethan, but she is busy with her son and her new job. One she doesn’t want to jeopardize.
Ethan has been attracted to Jillian from day one, but she’s been skittish.
But when a call for help rescuing abused horses comes, they work together and a friendship begins.
This story was full of heart, a great cast of characters human and animals, ups and downs as well as hope, new beginnings and second chances in love.
Another winner in the series. Though a stand alone, I would highly recommend that if new to the series, the reader get their hands on the previous stories. All touching and will give them a chance to meet the characters often appearing in later books.
I was entrusted a copy of this book by Netgalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

I received an ARC from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.

2.5 stars, rounded up.

On paper, this book is perfect for me. A cowboy + a librarian rescuing animals! Amazing concept! But I was just so bored by this book. Maybe it was the fact that there were way too many side characters that ended up detracting from the romance? Maybe it was the fact that Jillian kept creating obstacles that didn't exist? Like, she kept saying that she and Ethan couldn't be together because it would look bad for his bid for the Sheriff election. But he clearly didn't have an issue, and she still wouldn't let it go. I got annoyed the 2nd time it got brought up. It was a dumb, circular argument.

Overall, it was just predictable for me, and seemed to be trying too hard to be heartwarming and twee.

I enjoyed the book but did not care for all the "cute" animals. Jillian had a past and moved with her son to start over. Ethan was a cop running for sheriff. Her pursues her pretty hard and she resists mostly. As they start to build a relationship her past comes back and she breaks it off so Ethan can have a chance to win his election. People rally around Jillian and in the end all is well.

I have read all the other books in this series so I was excited to add this one to my stack as well. And it did not disappoint - I loved this book.

This is about deputy Ethan and the new head librarian, Jillian. Ethan falls for Jillian the moment he lays eyes on her, but Jillian is more hesitant - after all she has a child and an ex that is spending time in prison for a bank robbery. She has been burned before and doesn't know how to trust her heart. Ethan is relentless in winning her over and it was really cute - Milo is a good kid and added to the story as well. There was lots of laughter, love, coincidences, a little drama and a bit of mystery as well. Add these all together and you get one great book.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. The opinions stated above are mine without biases.

The title says it all. I can never have enough cowboy. Ethan knocked my boots I wasn’t even wearing, right off.
There are are many tender awwww moments in the story. But once again, the animals steal the show. Little Applejack, the miniature horse, who needed extra loving. The scene with Tiny and Otis and the TV was just plain funny.
I love the cacophony of critters, especially the poor horses who were rescued. And the caring community.
Can’t go wrong with a Jennie Mart book!
Thanks to Sourcebooks Casablanca and NetGalley and Edelweiss for the early copy.

I can never get enough cowboy romances and this is no exception. Jillian with her son, Milo is new to Creedence and she is not interested in any men except her son but can't deny the the good looks of the Deputy Sheriff, Ethan. The first meeting of Jillian and Ethan will have you laughing out loud and will keep you turning the pages as the relationship develops. Both with failed relationships in the past, but Ethan knows this is the right one.

Loved the motley crew of farm animals throughout the story, I loved them all especially Applejack. The relationship that Jillian and Milo share will pull at your heartstrings.

This book has so many heartfelt feelings that I was sad to say goodbye, but now looking forward to the next book in the series. This is part of a series but can be read as a stand alone.

Never Enough Cowboy by Jennie Marts is a contemporary cowboy rom-com with the two loves making their first connection when Jillian had escaped the goat after it pulled of her skirt, by climbing up into the barn loft. How she was going to get out, she didn’t know, until a truck drove up. She thought it was one of the rescue’s owners, Zane, but it turned out to be the deputy sheriff, Ethan Rayburn. Now she was embarrassed. He was very cute, not that she was looking for anything, but still. She was a librarian and supposed to be conservative, not wandering around in her underwear. He was embarrassed, too, but they did manage to get her out of the loft, and into the extra clothing that she always had in her car. That darned goat! Jillian had only been in town a short while, along with her son, Milo. She had a checkered past that she was trying to outrun. Well, not her, so much as Milo’s dad. Ethan was running for sheriff, picking up the family legacy. His father had been sheriff years earlier. He really like her. She knew she shouldn’t risk the entanglement.

These were a couple of likable, almost too good characters. They both worked with rescued horses and after the goat incident drive together to a racetrack that had been shut down and had a herd of needy horses. Jillian fell in love with one of them, and that one had a friend, so they loaded them into Ethan’s horse trailer and took them to his ranch, but not before Jillian and Milo had named them. It was not simple for them to be in love. It definitely took some finagling but with the help of their friends, the obstacles were overcome and they all lived happily ever after. I love Jennie Marts’ books. This one, and all of them, have regular people with regular problems coming together in the most regular of ways. They plot is simplistic but effective and the characters, both the main ones and the supported ones are genuine. Well worth the read.

I was invited to read a free e-ARC of Never Enough Cowboy by Sourcebooks Casablanca, through Netgalley. All thoughts and opinions are mine. #netgalley #sourcebookscasablanca #jenniemarts #neverenoughcowboy

Jillian and her son moved to town for a fresh start. Jillian is the new head librarian at the town library and a single mom. Her backstory is tough - but Jillian is a seriously hardworking fighter. She's not interested in any kind of romantic relationship - she wants to focus on her son and job - nothing more. Ethan is a sheriff's deputy who truly wears his heart on his sleeve. He is pretty much totally adorable - and I loved how he was all in with Jillian from pretty much the moment he met her.

I also loved the menagerie of animals in this book - they always steal the show - along with the kids (who often seem smarter than their grownups). The found family of women who all support each other is an integral part of the book and something that just makes me happy. Women supporting other women is pretty much the best thing ever.

This would have been a total five star read for me except for the final drama between Jillian and Ethan.

That being said overall - I have loved all the books in this series and hope there will be more!

I received this as an ARC via NetGalley, but these opinions are all my own.
