In the spirit of unifying the wizarding Community, Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy have to pretend to be dating one another. Okay, I was not expecting to feel so many feelings!!!!!!! But somehow, in the midst of some generally hilarious moments of fake dating and the two of them trying to drive the other person crazy, there was so much heart and emotion and angst in this that actually hurt me. In fact, I was unbelievably pissed off at Hermione for some of the choices that she decided to make because of how insanely unfair it was to both of them. But this fic was the most perfect blend of funny and heart and emotion that I devoured in one sitting. I am definitely going to have to read more books by the author because it was delightful. And the art was such a surprise!

all my favourite tropes in one fic, i think i'm in heaven. although this was a little rushed (to be fair, a slow burn in 80k words is pretty impossible), the tension was SPLENDID and i absolutely loved the way the author wrote each and every character. they truly put so much care into developing everyone into complex characters that actually aligned with canon (instead of just making draco a simpering helpless prick as per usual). writing saviour complex harry without making him insufferable? bless!!! wonderful read overall despite some issues with pacing (harry fell in love too quickly), would 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for a cheesily adorable post-war fic with excellent character study.

Lovely fake dating Drarry.
I feel like it was appropriately angsty and romantic. Draco was very true to character and that is always good to see.
Harry is an unmitigated mess, as usual.
I loved their friends, to see more of the Slytherin. I liked the reality that bad things don’t end with the end of the war. And that people are shit, and they will continue to be shit.
But bad things didn’t define Draco ♥️
Remember this by:
