Excellent story because the secret about who the hero is, is kepted long enough with few clues. History is very well written, full of twists and turns, of actions.
Natalie, just divorced, comes to repair and clean her father's hunting cabin because he has to sell it. She finds herself alone because her sister dropped her and she is helped by Hunter, whom she takes for someone sent by her father, but who is in fact passing without anyone knowing if he is a vagabond, a hiker. He hides something, does not explain it and Natalie doen't really ask him but their attraction is real, even if she is not comfortable with herself after her divorce and facing this stranger. When her father ends up in the hospital, Natalie leaves and abandons Hunter forever. For him it was serious, for her it was an adventure that could only last for a weekend.
All of this happens in the early chapters and that's a good point because everything else is just twists and turns once Natalie understands who Hunter is.

I thought it was going to be a short story read. It is not. It has action, villains, mob people, missing money and of yeah a lot and i mean a lot of family drama. It all starts with cleaning out a cabin to be sold for medical bills. A flaky sister who ditches responsibilities again. A man who was sent to help who really wasn’t and attraction for lust, bullet and missing money but this double in a spiral of great proportions, Good characters, even the flaky one and missing loved one come back to haunt the scene is a must for this book. I didn’t stop until it was done. That includes eating leftovers to minimize my time away from the book. Lol you don’t need to be that drastic but some scenes were meant to uninterrupted.

Great Characters - Natalie has come to the family cabin to get it ready for sale. Her father is very ill and they need the money for his medical care. Her sister was to help her but she didn’t show. Her Dad says he will see if he can find somebody to help her. Shortly after she starts to clean along comes Hunter. They work together all day and the next. There is a connection they feel to each other. There is drama, intrigue, danger, loyal friends, lust, tenderness, warmth, passion, steamy sex and maybe maybe love. This is just amazing what occurs in this story! I really don’t think you will be disappointed with this read.

This story will keep you flipping pages to se what happens next with Natalie and Hunter. Their connection and chemistry is sizzling. The story is entertaining and keeps you interested. The description of the story pulls you in. A great story. This is my first time reading this author and I will be on the lookout for more to read.

Lexi Hart's idea of one wild weekend and mine is definitely off. That's okay! I can't imagine having the kind of weekend that Hunter and Natalie have experienced. And goodness, they experience a lot together and individually. You're rooting for them and hoping they don't meet an untimely fate. It's like an action movie in a book. And yes, there's a love story in there somewhere. Lots of action and fun to be had by everyone except perhaps Hunter and Natalie at times. What a story! I can't wait for more stories!!!

The author pulls you in immediately and never lets you go. The story keeps you turning the page to find out what is going to happen next. With lust/love, suspense, danger and action you cannot put the book down.

Action, suspense and flaming passion made for a great read. There really wasn't a dull moment in the book it was full of surprises.

I had a great time reading the storyline and getting to know the characters. The are amazing and the storyline was greatly entertaining with plenty of steam and twists to satisfy my reading needs. I look forward to reading more by this author.

This riveting story combines subterfuge, intrigue and heart melting romance after Hunter and Natalie cross paths at her family’s remote cabin she must prepare to sell due to her father’s illness.
The sparks fly right away and when Natalie decides she can’t resist him, they realize their connection is something special for them both.
But, the romance isn’t deigned to be an easy one as it becomes clear that Hunter has some secrets that can’t be overlooked. Natalie finds herself in danger. Hunter risks himself several times to keep her safe. The intrigue in the last half of the book made it impossible to put down and then the end was so satisfying. The author does a wonderful job tying up all the loose ends at the story’s conclusion.

I’ve never had such a visceral reaction to a man I barely know before. I’ve heard of it, and I’ve been attracted to men before. But I’ve never met a man like Hunter. There’s something lurking under the calm exterior. Something dangerous that makes him even more alluring.

Hunter was dangerous man, a lonely man, and a criminal being escaped. Yes, he wasn’t innocent, but he was still charming. He didn’t talk that much, but he did everything to protect Natalie. And from the reading, I loved his personalities more than I even expected.
The bus driver leans out the door and yells at me. “Hey knucklehead, I ain’t holding this any longer. You on or you off?”
I work my jaw, fists balling at my sides as he glares daggers at me. Seconds tick by as every possible scenario runs through my head.
I spin on my heel and head out of the bus station to the sound of the bus driver cussing me out.
He knew the risks, Natalie would be in danger if they stay together and he would be caught if he went back. But he still went back, he was a man like a mountain, broad, heavy and messiness.
I reach up and run my fingertip over the faint red where my name is branded into the skin right over his heart. “I’m the redhead,” I whisper.
Hunter’s expression turns soft. “You’re my redhead. And I’d give you anything I have. Just say the word, and it’s yours.”
I don’t even have to think as my eyes roam over his body. “What I want right now, is you,” I breathe.
After everything they had been through, Hunter tried to contact Natalie again, and I am moving about Hunter’s Tattoo. I love his tattoo, he put ‘Natalie’ on his body. She was the woman he never would let go.
Hunter lifts his gaze to meet mine, and I see regret to mirror my own. “What I did, who I killed...I need you to know that’s not the kind of man I want to be.”
I kiss him softly and run my fingernails through his stubble. “I know. You want to be the man who helped me and Jack when you didn’t have to.”
He killed the man for protecting Natalie, he didn’t have any choice and he knew the risks, but he still did. From the beginning reading till the end, I could always feel Hunter’s personalities was so charming. It was attractive each time he protect Natalie and his sister. And Natalie was a great woman. She might be afraid him when seeing him shooting someone, but she also brave and rational, she knew Hunter did those just for her. She was the right woman for him, she was strong. They were made for each other.
“You know I love you, right?” he says. Heat starts to build in my chest as tears fill my eyes.
I chew my lip, eyes locked on his tattoo as he stalks towards me. My voice comes out a croak. “I love you too.”
When he climbs back into bed, and kisses me, tenderly but full of passion, I know I won’t lose anything by committing to a life with him up here in the mountains. I’ll win the life I always wanted.
Hunter may be as wild, untamed and rugged as the mountains surrounding us, but he’s also everything she’ve always wanted. After what they’ve been through, after learning who he is, who he wants to be, Natalie need Hunter Sloan to be as permanent as the ink on his skin.
Because her father was right. The love of a mountain man like Hunter is definitely worth the risk.♥️♥️♥️

Natalie was recently divorced and was not looking for a new relationship until she saw Hunter. They met when Natalie was going to her family’s cabin to get it cleaned to sell. She had mistaken Hunter for a helper and he did not correct her. Hunter and Natalie have an immediate connection but he was keeping some pertinent information from her.
This book was extremely captivating. I did not want to put it down because I was so intrigued by the characters and wanted to know what was going to happen next. I like the fact that you didn’t know what was going to happen next. The romance between Hunter and Natalie was a given because of their chemistry but the events occurring throughout were unpredictable. There was love, forgiveness, danger, and adventure.

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this story about Natalie and Hunter. She's at her dad's mountain cabin to clean it up for sale. Her dad's sick and needs the money for bills. Her sister bails to help her. When her dad says he will call a friend to send help. Hunter shows up at the cabin and offers to help her clean. He's a rugged handsome man who lives in the woods. When Natalie hurts her foot, Hunter takes care of her. The only problem Hunter is hiding something that could hurt both of them. When her life is put in danger, Hunter will do everything to keep her safe. Great HEA.

The book was a very good read and I'll definitely be reading it again. Jed pissed me off because he's the kind of man who didn't know a good thing when he had it. As soon as she knew Nat was with someone else he wanted to weasel his way back in ugh. I'm glad Hunter's name was cleared and he took care of The Falcone's and their associates after he had to pretend to be dead and Grace had to mourn him. I am happy that Grace has her brother back and that Jemma and Natalie have their mom back even under bad circumstances. Natalie and Hunter are great together, I'm happy they got their happily ever after.

Loved the book, the story was well written and the characters were intriguing. Once I started I could not get enough, from the start till the end I was engrossed I was even on the edge of my seat with twists and turns, lust and raw passion, strength, happiness with a happily ever after. Erotic was a major turn on. Do yourself a favor and buy the book you want be disappointed.

There's no doubt this is a hot hot page turner which I just had to finish in one sitting. Hunter had me swooning and wishing I was Natalie !! This is a fast paced book, with a fantastic and mostly believable storyline which will hook you in from the start. Somehow, Lexi mananged to not only include a strong main storyline, but also the effects of this both on Hunters family and the Natalies. Fantastic read.

Realised I had this in my tbr list but time passed me by, but then needing to relax I came across this book. Boy, glad I did. This is one seriously hot book, great characters, little bit of mystery, great storyline and scorching heat. Brilliant outcome and overall just WOW. I will for sure go back to my tbr list and search out more of Lex’ s books.

A perfect addition!
All of these Wild Weekend novels are just a bit different. But they’re all very hot! This one had many different aspects with a witness protection angle to it

A fast a fun read
This was a fun, quick insta-love/lust story. It had well developed characters and was jam packed with action, drama and spice. Both characters went through a ton but finally reached their HEA.

The characters in the story are strongly passionate and endearing. I enjoyed reading about the characters and their blooming love. The author has done a good job detailing the storyline.
