Review :
Naomi and Chase are back! I have been waiting for this conclusion ever since. Naomi is one of my favorite heroines of all time and I was glad to see her in her form again.
I love this series because of the main characters and the side characters too! They create this one hell of a funny mix and give the best dark and humorous scenes which keep me hooked throughout the whole tale. I get where Chase was coming from in this book but omg, I wanted to hit him bad. And also for Naomi for being so understanding, like girl he at least deserved one slap lmao.
That being said I will recommend this series to all those biker romance lovers who like genres like age gap, bitchy heroines, cold heroes, kink and suspense!

There's no denying a few things for this book....
1 - you need to take heed of the warnings/triggers! There is no exaggeration here, it is not for the faint hearted! So if you're in two minds - just don't!
However if you're not..go for it, you won't be disappointed!!
And 2 - Naomi is not for everyone! And probably Chase too! But they were for me 😊
If you think you've read stories with two people who don't get on but are attracted to each other - they'll have nothing on these two. I do think they actually hate each other sometimes 😅 Seriously!
Anyway, these two are explosive! They're just two emotionally messed-up people who deserve happiness and have to go through hell to get it!
Really enjoyed it and I'm excited for what comes next!

An Arc for an honest review
So i have finished this yesterday and up till now I cannot put words in the right order to describe how ai feel
Tara you did it again. And to be honest i didn't expect this.
People reading this review please take into consideration all the triggers warnings , do not take the book unless you are one hundred no two hundred percent sure you can handle this because honestly it is unfair how authors put so much effort only to be met by readers who IGNORED the triggers.
I may come back for another review , for now i think this is clear how much I love, love, love this take of events.

After Adversaries ended the way it did, I was in need of some Chase ass kicking. Frenemies gave me that ass kicking. The people that loved him smacked him all around till he was able to dust himself off, get back on his hog and ride in to save the woman he loves. I won't lie I am not a Naomi fan but Tara made me like her and feel for her and dammit I kinda love her now. I loved seeing all the extra characters that popped up (yes even Keenan) Logan especially. My heart hurts some but is also happy. I cannot stress enough how much I love Ava and reading Naomi's memories just made me angry. Ava and Naomi's friendship is incredible, they have done anything and everything for each other and will continue to do so. I was left with so many questions and so much excitement for what is coming next. I love this world so much and all the interconnecting stories between multiple authors (authors that I adore) have made it the perfect escape. Despite a lot of blood shed and heart ache I want to be apart of this world. I don't know if this review will help anyone but this is what I am feeling after finishing Frenemies.

I was so excited to read this story! Adversaries left me needing more and this book was the perfect follow up. Chase and Naomi are both strong, stubborn characters who aren’t willing to back down from anyone, and watching them come together was amazing.
This book packs an emotional punch and as with any dark romance you should absolutely mind your triggers. I really enjoyed the range of emotions this book delivered - and appreciated the moments of levity from the snarky and witty remarks from Chase and Naomi.
Chase will always have a special place in my heart - and you can’t help but to love Naomi. Excellent MC Romance with the perfect amounts of heat and sweet to send me swooning. Another amazing ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from TL Hodel!

YESSSS! Chase & Namoi, the tension... the steam. I loved everything about this book!! I picked it up and could not put it down! I loved the friendships that Namoi has with her girls, it really adds an element of levity and makes me hope for their stories too!
I loved how the relationship between Namoi and Chase builds. I ate up how strong and sassy Namoi is, it truly holds against Chase determination in this book and gives the plot a bit of fire too!

First off. The fact that Ava Whitley makes the content warning tells me, right off the bat, that this is definitely a book worth reading.
I think this is the first time I've read a book and fallen completely head over heels in love with a side character. I may have found an entirely new respect for Naomi, but Ava stole my heart.
T.L. Hodel has written an action packed, heartwarming romance that hits you in ALL the feels. Every last one. I laughed. I cried. And I laughed until I cried. Every character interaction was fresh and original, even those crossover characters that we've come to love.
You don't want to miss this one, especially if you're already a fan of The Order of Ravens and Wolves series.

Frenemies is the conclusion of Naomi and Chase's duet. These two share their own special brand of crazy that's put to the test when Chase disappears leaving his club and woman behind to hunt for his deadly brother. Chase definitely is not a traditional hero but he's never claimed to be and Naomi is the queen bee with attitude that can't be tamed. Both unapologetically who they are and surrounded by a kooky group of friends. I loved seeing Naomi's tenacity to get through to Chase and appreciated his protectiveness of her. There's a mixture of steam and danger sprinkled througout. I'm looking forward to reading more about Wilder and seeing how that situation goes down which TL hodel excels at making you care about secondary characters.

After I finished Adversaries I was so ready and excited to read this story. I was so ready to read more and boy was this book the perfect follow-up to Adversaries. Chase and Naomi were such strong characters, but more than that they were stubborn and they were never willing to back down from anyone for anything and I loved watching them come together and find their bond. Their chemistry was just amazing. It was just so perfect.
Frenemies is such an emotional roller-coaster and hits you with an emotional knockout. This book gives you such a range of emotions and it just delivers on those emotions over and over again. And you can't help but appreciate the moments of snark and whit from both Chase and Naomi.
Naomi was redeemed in this book. I loved her in this book. She is smart, intelligent, strong, snarky, and witty. Chase/Spider is a character that I can't help but adore and he's going to be living rent-free in my head for a while.
I have to say that this is the perfect MC romance that has the perfect amount of spice, heat, and sweetness that will send you over the edge.
This is another book, a great duet from T.L. Hodel.

welllll okayyyy i see you 👀 this duet was awesome!
📚Frenemies📚 continues Naomi and Chase’s story. boy was it a good one! we left off the last book with Chase going off the deep end, and we start this second one with him continuing to run.
even though Chase seems intent on pushing Naomi away, Naomi isn’t having it. she’s the one working to find him, to bring him back and help him. when they do find Chase, he’s chasing his enemies, both real and the ones in his mind. he’s not in a great place, but Naomi helps him through the withdrawals and brings him back. even after she does alla that, he still thinks she would have a better life elsewhere! like man get the hint🙄🙄 they work to take down his brother with the help of the side characters in this. like i said in my review for Adversaries i found this duet via The Bleeding Hearts series by Dylan Page, so i absolutely loved the peek of Keenan and the name drop of Mina. Keenan is such a beautiful soul 🥲

i loved this. truly, this duet was so much better than i expected! i had low expectations because of that cover honestly. i really dislike it both lol. i’ve said this before, but i love Naomi. they fit so well together, i especially love how Chase makes her less of a b*tch. i loveeee that dynamic! i also really enjoyed our side characters. like Ava?! that girl was insane with a capital I, but i loved her. her and Tanner were my comedic relief. i would totally recommend this duet, but i would also recommend not taking it too seriously. it doesn’t deal with heavy topics, but it sure is a fun easy read! i really enjoyed this, and i just might look for more of the authors new releases.

Alright, let’s talk about why I took off one star — seeing the MMC do that with another woman at the beginning of the book was kind of shocking to me 🙀. I feel like it really strayed from the essence of his character. I get that they were trying to reference his “evil” counterpart, but still... I don’t think it was necessary.
Anyway, as for the book — I really wish it had been longer (totally for my benefit 😏). I need more of Naomi — what a fabulous character! I loved every moment inside her head. It’s a shame we didn’t get the part where she tells the MMC about her past. I really wanted that conversation, and more insight into how he sees her.
Some parts I absolutely loved:
"This is my world, and the rest of you are just tourists," she huffed and crossed her arms. "You should be grateful I let any of you be part of it."
When I read that, I literally screamed: YES GIRL, THAT’S WHAT I’M TALKING ABOUT!! 😂😂🤭
"He let out an ironic huff and pulled the blanket tighter. A part of me wanted to wrap him up and cuddle him in my arms, but one glance at my white blouse changed everything. That blouse was special, Valentina. No man was worth ruining it for."
I loved that she didn’t stop being herself — it was a cute moment and she was just like: nope, my perfect blouse is not going down. Hahahaha.
"Was that supposed to be a compliment? Why? Because he saw me without makeup and still wanted me? Big deal. I was hot. He knew it, and I knew it. I just looked even better dressed up."
You know that moment where FMCs who enjoy dressing up are always made to feel bad about it? Like, “you’re shallow for that” — and then they start walking around in jeans, sneakers, and some rock band T-shirt 🙄 (cue dramatic eye-roll). So annoying. And I loved that she threw that right back at him. She didn’t change who she was for a second just to please anyone. That’s so rare to see authors actually commit to! I’ve been obsessed with unapologetic anti-heroines lately, and most of them always have to go through some boring redemption arc 😔... but not Naomi!!! Definitely one of my favorite female leads ever!
I just wish the book hadn’t ended so abruptly — I wanted to see more of their future together.
I wouldn’t mind a third book at all hahahahah

Frenemies
No one in these books is exactly the poster child for sanity, but Ava sets fire to that poster and toasts marshmallows over it. Which is probably why I identify with her the most. BTW, the author says that Ava is up for grabs but that is WRONG because she is MY bestie and I will cut a b who tries to steal her. She and I will take over the world, unless we are distracted by snacks and things that sparkle. Ava is my favorite and I would share my Colorforms with her and let her use my crayons, too.
There are triggers in this book, like there are triggers at an NRA swap meet. The MMC is engaged in sexual activity with another woman. There is on-page SA. So if you ask me if this book is Safe, I’ll shake my head and say Oh, Son…. Other triggers include the Con (both Non and Dub), graphic violence (including torture and Unaliving), firearms, morals in various shades of gray, child endangerment, memories of abuse, and trafficking. So be warned.
I’d also suggest that there is a good deal of the kind of humor that, after you laugh, makes you inquire where you are headed and why you’re in a handbasket, because it’s definitely some kind of wrong for a story this dark to be so funny. Because dark it is indeed, and not every character makes it out to the other side.
The romance between Chase and Naomi is a long, strange trip, and has a SPOILER ALERT happy ending that will satisfy all but the terminally cynical.

No one in these books is exactly the poster child for sanity, but Ava sets fire to that poster and toasts marshmallows over it. Which is probably why I identify with her the most. BTW, the author says that Ava is up for grabs but that is WRONG because she is MY bestie and I will cut a b who tries to steal her. She and I will take over the world, unless we are distracted by snacks and things that sparkle. Ava is my favorite and I would share my Colorforms with her and let her use my crayons, too.
There are triggers in this book, like there are triggers at an NRA swap meet. The MMC is engaged in sexual activity with another woman. There is on-page SA. So if you ask me if this book is Safe, I’ll shake my head and say Oh, Son…. Other triggers include the Con (both Non and Dub), graphic violence (including torture and Unaliving), firearms, morals in various shades of gray, child endangerment, memories of abuse, and trafficking. So be warned.
I’d also suggest that there is a good deal of the kind of humor that, after you laugh, makes you inquire where you are headed and why you’re in a handbasket, because it’s definitely some kind of wrong for a story this dark to be so funny. Because dark it is indeed, and not every character makes it out to the other side.
The romance between Chase and Naomi is a long, strange trip, and has a SPOILER ALERT happy ending that will satisfy all but the terminally cynical.

TL Hodel never fails to bring excitement and anticipation every book she writes. Her possessive and flawed Alpha males are perfect book boyfriends while the women they love could be your best friend. Each story gives a glimpse of darkness, and weaves together each member within this chaotic society.
Book 3 continues the tale of Chase and Naomi. It is dark, dramatic, and intense. A view of both their worlds and the people they love giving insight on this night an day couple. Naomi proves to be more than just a shallow and arrogant princess, but an absolute bad ass. She took her place as Chase's old lady regardless of status and proved her loyalty, love, strength. She kept the clubhouse in order and her sorority sisters alive. She is a character that you don't know whether you love her or hate her, but you do respect her.
Frenemies brings Naomi present day where she is fighting for Chase as he continues to distance himself. Chase's demons have finally taken hold bringing out his reckless and destructive persona Spider. No remorse and no one is innocent as he leaves bodies lining the streets. Out for revenge for his family he only goes so far before Beast brings him home. Locked up to save him from himself he finds that he has more allies then he knows, and this war is not just his own.

I bloody love the way T.L Hodel writes. She doesn't shy away from the tale her characters have to tell. With that said you should really heed the trigger warnings. Light and fluffy this is not!
We start off where Adversaries left off, with Chase's demons riding him hard and Naomi on the hunt for his stubborn ass. These two really are like fire and dynamite, when they get too close things go BOOM!! you just have to hope its explosive in the right way.
I don't want to give too many spoilers here but I really liked seeing some people come together with a common cause even if it isn't likely to be smooth sailing. This isn't your typical steamy romance but what spice there is is hot as hell. The tentative friendships and functional relationships warmed my heart. Especially Naomi finally realising its ok to have people on your side (even if she stays as bitchy as ever!)
I loved and hated the ending in equal measures. It was perfect the way one stepped up knowing the other couldn't, but I cried when they opened the van. That was nice and vague so you can experience it yourself! I'm excited to see how life plans out for them and hope we get some glimpses in other books.
and last but by no means least. Ava!! This girl is my ride or die. I claim her here and now as mine forever. I'll never look at a marshmallow in the same way but I'll make sure I have a packet for the dragons. They breathe fire you know

It takes a very talented author to make you love a character after making you hate them. Which is what happened in this book, I loved Naomi in this book, mind you she’s still a stuck up snob but I found her hilarious, caring, and passionate about what and who matters to her. Naomi’s determination to get through to Chase pulled on all my heart strings.
Chase on the other hand, well I spent most of the book wanting to smack him upside his head. He has a lot of issues and past failures to work through. He thinks he is responsible for so much and feels he has to fix it alone. It breaks your heart but I still wanted to smack him.
It wasn’t all sad, Naomi’s best friend is Ava and Chase’s right hand man is Tanner and they’re hilarious without trying to be. Of course, a few other people you might know from Tara’s other series might make an appearance, like there’s a good possibility. I love all of these books and characters so much, I was sad the book ended but there’s always the next one so it’s never really over.

Ahhhh after the way adversaries ended, I needed to instantly read the next book. I can't get enough of this world. They're story pulls you right in. It's a crazy rollercoaster ride with twists and turns, that sneak right up to you. The character growth and dynamic between them is great. I never once put this book down until it was done, I was on the edge of my seat, heart racing, leg bouncing and sweaty palms, I was so engrossed.
It's packed with action, drama, revenge, suspense, romance, angst and so much more. The characters and side characters are quickly becoming like family to me, and I need their stories aswell.
I fucking love and I mean love chase, that man can have me on my motherfucking knees anytime, calling him whatever the fuck he likes. Sir? Sure! Master? No problem! Daddy ? Hell yeah. He names it I will say it !!
It's dark, gritty, raw, ruthless and so fucking delicious and I can't wait for more. Highly recommend.!!

To be completely honest Naomi is not going to appeal to everyone but I loved her! She is a mega-B but seriously cares about the people who she deems to be her friends, she cares in her own way. Chase is a broken anti-hero and some of his actions in this book are hard to take but you understand him and you understand Naomi's reaction to them because they don't have the typical relationship but it works for them. The side characters in TL Hodel's books are always so much fun and you can't wait to get to read their stories. Everything works so well together and I am excited for the next book in this series as well as the next books in this world because I have loved all of them. If you have never read an book by TL Hodel, highly recommend her work. You can start with either series but I recommend starting with Aftereffect the first book in the Order of Raven and Wolves to get the full story behind the characters in this book. Oh, and plenty of steam.

God, Tara, I love you. You really have a real writing talent like no other. You make the reader want to kick the hero on one side and hug him on the other and tell him everything will be fine. Chase is not a prince on a white horse. Not even a typical hero in love. He is the jerk of most of the book but there is no doubt about his love for Naomi. God and our girl, I'm a Team I love Bitch Naomi and I always will. He's my favorite character of all the books. Is she a bitch? Is it superficial? snobbish? cheeky? Yes! Yes! Yes! But then she's as protective as a teddy bear to the people she cares about. They are like yin and yang. I think this is the darkest book I've ever read from Tara, so it's not for the subtle. But is she perfect? Yes it is! Their conclusion was epic, and I want more of them, I hope they appear in other books than the supporting characters. Otherwise, I love them all. I adore Ava and Tanner, but Wilder & Bailey stole part of my soul.

Twists and turns. Devotion and detox. Bullets and things possibly blowing up beyond redemption. Weirdness on campus and at the MC compound. Hilarious hijinks. What more could you ask for? Chase and Naomi are far from your perfect couple. If ever there were two more opposites, these two are it. Chase is purposefully on the road to destroy his life. Naomi is doing her best to rescue him while failing to not fall for the hard-headed biker. Circumstances have them at loggerheads, every step a battle. Naomi isn't about to let Chase self-detonate if she can drag him out of his personal hell by any means fair or foul. She's one tough society girl about to pit her tenacity against the president of the Lost Souls MC. For better or worse, Chase has met his match in the fiery sorority sister. Now, with the potential for a happy ending, if only they can put the past behind them and start living for the HEA in their future.

This couple!! OMG like really...Chase and Naomi are on another level and let me tell you, they are not for everyone! Chase is broken, hes full of revenge, self loathing and has the constant need to push everyone he cares about away, lets just say hes not your typical hero, but that makes me love him even more. Naomi is a character you hate to love, we have seen her in previous books and to be honest, i didn't like her at all, but in this book i saw a different side to her, one i liked and i think shes perfect for Chase! The overall plot just has it all, its dark, dangerous, full of action and plenty of steam, this is definitely a page turner!!
This world that Tara has created is quite simply amazing and i don't think ill ever get enough of it!

I no longer look at motorcycles the same!
Chase has totally got me looking at bikers in a new light. I feel so sorry for him and can’t blame him for losing it as often as he does. It’s obvious Riley held him together and gave him the focus he needed. Now Naomi does that, with a little more crazy thrown in. Poor Naomi is put through the ringer in this one. I love that she stands by Chase through all of it. She has no idea what love looks like, but she feels it for Chase. And who can ever read one of these books without laughing your a$$ off at Ava! She is a great ride or die to have on your side. I love all her wackiness. I have no idea what to think of the person that will keep her for her life. Poor guy will have her to deal with and side of Preston to go with it. Beast & Jaz, there are no words….

I absolutely love Naomi, she was such a bada**, her personality was awesome.... I just love the relationship between her and Ava, even her and Bailey.... The fact that she didn't let Chase give her crap, and still stood her ground, showed hoe strong she was.... This girl was annoying in Aftereffect, I didn't like her at all in that book.... I'm gonna be honest I didn't think I was gonna like this book because I already didn't like the MFC, but I read this series just incase their were scenes that would effect the other series.... But I have to admit T.L. Hodel did it again, to my shocked I loved this series, this book, it had so much power, so much action, and steamy scene, plus their personality, their chemistry was off the Charts.... I can't wait for Ava and Tanner story or even Bailey and Wilder, they both sound like they are gonna be great.....

I absolutely adored this book and the Lost Souls MC series. I hope T.L. Hodel will continue to write stories regarding other characters within this "universe". There is so much I want to know, people I would love to see what happens to them. I loved Chase and Naomi, but I want more Tanner and Ava! Ava is so cooky and I really want to know more of her story and what really goes on in her brain. Tanner deserves someone solely for himself instead of being the playboy he is. I also had my heart ripped at one point in this book and I really am sad about what occurred. I never imagined myself getting as attached to a MC series as I did this one. Absolutely one hundred percent recommend. The only issues I had were the spelling errors or missed editing issues, however, I was able to deal with those.

Possibly my favourite book so far! Chase goes on a dark path and loses himself in a big way but Naomi doesn’t give up on him. He fights his feelings for her at every chance he gets but deep down he truly loves her. When she throws it back in his face about another encounter she had with his friend he loses but also realises she’s his soulmate. When Naomi’s life is put in danger you just knew Chase was going to go to the ends of the earth to ensure her safety amd he does. I loved how much Naomi grew in this book and how fiercely she protects those she loves! It was also amazing to read more interactions from Ava and Tanner and from Logan and Preston too! I truly love these characters. A brilliant story that hooks you from the start!

I absolutely love Tl Hodel her writing style is like no other, she gives you dark, twisted and with that slice of humor and I love it. It's been awhile since I read a book by any author were I loved all the characters and with Tl I love all the characters in her books. I need a book on Anna and Tanner ASAP those 2 are my favorite characters I love their type of crazy. I truly loved this book I never thought I would love Naomi but I do I love that girl yes she's a major cunt but dmn she's been through some major stuff in her life so give the girl a break. Chase I've loved him since way before his book. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of these guys stories hopefully we don't have a long wait

this wasnt anything spectacular or crazy amazing, and i didnt like how chase acted for a lot of this book, but i did like the book as a whole. i dont know if it was my connection to the chracters, the plot or the big SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER where naomi ended up preggers. i did predict that she would be from the second she took a liking it pcikles, but it was still really fun to read. i loved the book overall, and even though there were things i really hated, like particular charcaters and their behaviours, i am lookign at you chase the dick bag, i still liked it a lot overall. give it a read if you have any interest at all.
