Born into a storytelling family, all she'd ever wanted to do was write stories. After a career as an award-winning newspaper journalist, she wrote and sold 37 short stories before she finally wrote her first book, ODD MAN OUT. Since then she has won numerous awards including a career achievement award for romantic suspense.
She lives in Montana with her husband, Parker, two Springer Spaniels. When she isn't writing, she quilts, boats and. makes rope/fabric baskets. She always reads, loving to lose herself in a good book.

Sweet, clean cowboy Christmas romance.

One of the main things that captured my attention in this story is Davy. I love his connection and wholesome love for Carla throughout the book. There was no insta-love. It was built in from the beginning and that just showcased him as a strong, caring character that made the story interesting for me.
Daniels creates an intriguing story that is different from any other stories in this genre I have read previously. With some mean and creepy characters and a few unexpected turns, you are easily enveloped in this story from page one.
While this is a shorter story, it is a sweet, clean cowboy Christmas romance that is truly enjoyable. This story could be a part of a two-book publication as well. Some publications include Christmas Ransom and Cardwell Ranch Trespasser. Either way, we get a bit of everything in this book. Romance, Christmas, Intrigue, yummy cowboys, and a delightful ending that leaves hope for the future.

Two books in one! Yay!
Christmas Ransom -
Bank robbery gone bad with some other complications thrown in just to liven it up. Both Davy and Carla have a history, so this is also a "second chance" story. Interesting and intriguing, this another top-notch story.
Cardwell Ranch Trespasser -
Is she Dana's long lost cousin . . . or not? Dana and everyone around accepts this woman as her cousin, but Dana's best friend Hilde and Hud's Deputy Marshall Colt, have reservations. Truly a twisted tale of suspicions and gaslighting.
To sum up - both stories are excellent.
Christmas Ransom -
